I have recieved this call too.  They left a message saying they were from the asset investigation department and that i needed to call them with in 24 hours or else they would have no other choice.  No other choice for what?  All my debt is up to date and is through my own local bank.  i reverse searched the number and it came up as a mobile phone.  What kind of law firm uses a mobile phone to call back on???  Sounded pretty scammy to me.

just got call from 803-310-3711 said i was going to jail or court if i do not pay back a supposit payday loan through b& l marketing services that i supossatly took out in 2008 on july 21st in california, i have never lived in california or gotten a loan.

my boss is the ceo of a loans department and this man was on speaker when she heard the call and it is illeagal in new hampshire to even obtain a payday loan and she recognised this number as part of a scam

please people do not give your information to this man it is a lie, and they are super good at making people believe that they have loans that do not exsist.

i took 3 pay day lones thats it three years ago and all three are paid back in full.

I recieved a call also. a "friend" had used me as a reference for a payday loan. She wrote them a bad check and now they said I could go to court. I have talked to several people, one being someone that  worked for the payday loan company. They cannot sue you, or take you to ccourt, they are just trying to scfare you into paying the balance

They have called twice and left voice message saying they are from process service office.  when i call back they can not find my case number.  They stated they were a law office, but the reception did not know why they called me.  I do not owe anyone any money, this sounds like a scam.

My client received a call from this number saying she had guaranteed the debt of her friend for $3200.00.  When I called to obtain information, I was told no notes existed regarding a call to my client, that they had not contacted her, and would not give me an address so that I could send a letter of representation.

Shady at the very least.

Got a call from the same number. Person on the other end worked at a law firm and stated the call was for a different person and gave the name of that person. When I informed him that this was not me he stated to disregard the call, said thanks for returning the call and to have a good day. He was very professional and courteous.

Bad advice, first of all if you pay a debt it does not show up new on your credit report I would get a counselor that new what they were talking about.  I think it is a shame that people think just because they were young once that they had no responsibility to pay the bills the made.  Sorry your parents brought you up with all the wrong principles.

Just called from a blocked # left a vm saying they need me to call and if I don't it's going to go to court. Doubt it. Ya I was young once and have credit card debt but it's past the statue in TX. I've been advised by a credit counselor not to pay the debts bacause they show up new on your credit history!? In a rock and a hard place I guess.

HR @ my job received a call today for me asking that I call back Jennifer in Legal Support @ 803-310-3711 with a reference to a case #....something about they wanted to serve me but there was a mix up on addresses.  I called the # (internal phone system, they can't call that # back) and got a voice mail for the legal dept, no company name or persons name.  I've had the same cell phone # for over 3 years and it's the only # I use....so either this is something very very old.....or phishers...
