Left no message. Call was from S.Carolina. I don't know anyone at this number

Just received a call from them on my cell...which is on the do not call list.  Said they were VISA and that "nothing was wrong with my account but they could lower my interest rate."  Oh yeah...WHAT account?  Of course it is just a scam.

They just called me.  Left no message.  I'm not calling back.  They seem to be very active.  It sucks that they can call numbers on the do-not-call list.

I pressed 1 to ask them to put me on thier do not call list, and they just hung up on me.  I tried calling the number back, and was not successful.  I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office.

I got a call from these people and I asked who she was calling for she said Visa and Mastercard.  I then asked her what Visa or Mastercard company and she hung up on me.  Screamin' Scam!  And this baby wasn't born yesterday!  I like the airhorn post.  Good for you S.W.S.

just got a call; did not answer. Seem to get unsolicited calls this time a day. Every time I check here and find I am not the only one getting calls from the number

Just had them call as well. This keeps happening to me where I get unsolicited calls throughout the day, which is really frustrating. I am on the do not call list but apparently that doesn't stop them. I wonder where they got my number fro??. So annoying!

they called me today and did not leave a message. An hour later I got a call from Jefferson Capital LLC  phone 866-805-9214 but they wanted me to give them my social security number. I asked for what, and they would not tell me.

The automatic voice said it would lower interest rates on my credit card....which one, who are they? I don't trust them! I selected #3 for discontinue all notifications.

Same thing here that is from different numbers.  "Card members".  What happened to the do not call list.  Just something we tax payers are paying for that does not work

I just received another call---on my cell phone---for about the 4th time in a week from a number that I do/did not recognize.  Today it is the 803-692-1875 number.  I just deleted the others and now wish that I had kept them written down.  Each time I did an online reverse phone look up of the numbers, the numbers are out of state and are shown as landlines.  I have not paid to get the exact infornation.  No message is left.  I do not answer calls that are unknown to me just for this very reason.  I too am on the do not call registry.  

I have no idea why I am receiving these calls or the reason for the call.  That is are they selling something, offering something?  It is aggravating that these companies now have the ability to access my phone number that is NOT made public by me.  My question is how are they obtaining these private, unlisted numbers? Are the phone carriers selling the information?   It is so true that now a days nothing is private!

I too received the same call on my cell. When I called it back, got the recording "disconnected". I too am registered with the "do not call" list. This call costs me.

I answered, no one there. I tried calling it back & got "the number you've reached is disconnected or no longer in service." WHAT!

I went to the boater's supply store & bought an airhorn. when they call, i simply press "1" to speak to a rep, then when they pick up i give them the business end of the horn. that usually keeps them from calling back for about 3-4 months.

Get these calls all the time. I am on do not call list,, contacted Verizon,, the FCC,, and told I must report this number to the Police now..      Instead,,  when ever I get these calls, I say yes I have 10K credit card debt, but I am in the yard and must get to the house to get my wallet.  ( Anything to take up their time )  drag on the conversation any way I can.  

This week I had the idiot hanging on for near 10 minutes.. When he figured me out, I told him I had a detective getting closer to their real identity.  

If all of you who get these calls will waist the scammers time in this way,,  they may very well stop scamming.

I get a lot of F bombs from these people, so it must piss them off

I TOO GET CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER DAILY. I JUST REREGISTERED WITH DO NOT CALL I THINK THEY ARE A JOKE. I ALSO CALLED THENUMBER 8036921875 AND HEARD A RECORDING THAT SAID THE NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED.

I get numerous calls every day and weekends. I've learned that it does no good to register with the do not call service. These annoying people that call us, can always find a loop hole and they do just that and continue to call. I'm going to use the selective calling feature from the phone company that I use. I can select up to ten numbers from people that I want to call me and put a stop to unwanted, annoying calls from people that I don't know and that are driving me crazy. I hope that everyone that's complaing about this issue can do the same thing. Good luck!

Received a cell phone call and message regarding interest rate being lowered from this number.  Message cut off any reference to who was calling.

This is such a scam~ they have numbers all across the country. I can't believe these people can't be arrested!!!

They called my cell phone, which is on the national do not call list.  Automated message: "Cardmember services... no problem with your card, but we'd like to offer you a lower interest rate..." Following the prompt, I pressed 3 to be added to their "no marketing list."  Apparently didn't work since I got an identical call the next day from 415-613-0482,  Pressing 1 got me a human, who I asked to put me on their "do not solicit list."
