I had a call and a very nasty recording on my home phone, I call the number back an the man said he was from some collection agency ( Cawley & Bergmann ) and I asked what he was calling about, and he would not tell me , asked me for my home number where the voice mail was left on told him you called me. He then said that I would be receiving more calls since I would not give up the number, so I gave him my home number and he said thanks, and I told him do not call my home again, I don't have any outstanding credit issues and the next time he called I would consider this harassment. phone number he called me on was 803-724-1012.

I have been getting the same stupid calls as everyone else from the bogus law firm. I am going to change my number because they are calling 10 times a day for a month now.

Call all the time, five people answer this number and they ask for someone that is NOT here EVER.

I actually got a call from these folks today and talked with an attorney and his assistant. Actually got their names and phone numbers. Didn't have to deal with an automated call, so there is that. Much as I hate to admit it, they sure seemed legit AT THIS TIME. And they were collecting for a debt I legitimately owed, and had my name correct. So ... there you go. Again, I hate to admit it, but they came across legit.

Are they a legit debt reconcillation place, I know quite a few people that need one but there are so many shams!

Unwanted calls

I RECEIVE AS LEAST TWO CALLS A DAY ASKING TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WITH A DIFFERENT LAST NAME FROM MINE BUT THE SAME FIRST NAME.  IF YOU AREN'T THE PERSON YOU CLICK ON 1 WHICH I DO, BUT THEY STILL CALL BACK.  IT IS A RECORDING SO THERE IS NO WAY TO TALK TO ANYONE.  WHEN I GOGGLE THE PHONE NUMBER I GET CAWLEY BERGMAN.  HOW DO I GET THEM TO STOP?

This firm keeps calling and asking for a person who does not live here. They call every day once or twice.
It's a message call so you can't even talk to then to tell them to stop calling.  Iv'e reported them to the do not call registry.

We keep receiving calls (automated) for my daughter who hasn't lived here for about 6 years. The call says if you're not her, hang up, but if you hit the button they instruct you to hit and still listen, it states they are call from the law firm of Cawley & Bergmann, give the number 803-724-1014 and say the call is in regard to a collection of a debt. They don't give you an opportunity to say the person doesn't reside here and they keep calling. How do we get them to stop? This is surely along the lines of harrassment.

Your call to Lowella M. Lee is unwarranted and if you don't stop calling her immediately I am going to report you to the Attorney General.  I am retired from a federal law enforcement agency and investigated matters such as you are participating in and I will make every effort to stop your company from operating.  Get a life and get a real job and stop praying on the elderly NOW!

They are a CACH, LLC franchisee. CACH is Phillip Scott Lowery out of Denver, a junk debt buyer/litigator who never seems to be able to have valid documents to prove up their cases.

This franchise was once called Bronson & Migliaccio, best known for being inept at almost everything they tried. They were so bad that they were hardly ever taken seriously for their attempts to collect. ANything with their name or CACH on it should be easily beaten with the assistance of a consumer law professional.

These clowns belong in the traffic ticket, DUI and wills business, NOT collecting debts. It is really hard to take them seriously, so do not become a victim of their ineptness.

Round three for this group of erratic debt buyers and wanna be debt collectors. The first two tries at being a national group failed miserably, this is either a winner or the end of the line for Bruce Bronson at trying to be a national collector. Their former problems include their inability to produce documents that validate the junk debts they purchase and the quality of the attorneys they used was so bad they had to sign their own affidavits. Bruce Bronson may not be the best bottom feeder debt collector in America, but at least he tries. As before, they will likely have serious problems providing legitimate validation on anything they attempt to collect. This organization is a consumer attorneys dream to take on. (before their money runs out)

Caller claimed they were from the Law Offices of Cawley and Bergmann.  Caller ID identified the number 803-724-1014 as the Law Office of Cawley and Bergmann.
The caller identified the name of a family member and stated she owed $20,000.00 on a pass due debt but wanted to settle for a lesser amount and wanted to make a deal over the phone.
This family member has a debt dispute with another company over a much smaller amount.
It appears that this so called Law Office is Phishing for info and attempting to scam money from someone who owes a debt to some other entity.

I am receiving the same calls. How to stop it?!

We owe NO MONEY.Take us off this list. IF this is about our daughter... she has not lived with us for 12 years. DO NOT CALL US AGAIN.

Have been receiving calls from this number one right after the other three, four five in a row.  Do not know who this is or why they are calling.  I am 80 years old and do not appreciate getting these calls.

Just received a voicemail from this number, but it said to contact the Law Offices of Cawley & Bergmann at 800.927.8660.
