I RECEIVED A HORRIBLE THREATENING CAL AT 8:55 THIS MORNING FROM 2 ATTORNEY'S WHO ARE
        SAYING THEY ARE GOING TOO SEND THE POLICE TO ARREST ME, PLEASE HELP

My Attorney told me this is TOTALLY fake. As if there was any doubt. He wanted to have fun with them and said to have them contact him. AV Rated one of the best litigators in the country...feel sorry for these losers IF they have the balls to call. Peter says ANY law suit would be FILED and you'd receive notification from the Court or a Process server. As an attorney as well. Tell you totally true. so tell them, to "F" off or say "I am going to put you on hold for JUST a second and it will sound like I hang up...but i am not. Just hang on and will be a second I promise." and hang up. Don't worry.

Im so glad to see this as I just received a call, however I beat them to the punch and told them what they were doing was ileagal and a scam.

i received a call from this number saying i better get a lawyer cause i owe 300 dollars for a loan i took.out which i never received nor took out this is crazy.

a guy call and said i need to call or my lawyer to call and he name was matt harper from the # 803 728 1768 that it was about something but was not able to ubderstand what he was saying

this is a scam collector, they call themself a law firm. if you get the call from this number just tell them call the police departtment to come show u the paper work for to be arested; cause their had no reasons for arest you for owe the loans or pay the loans late. if you got loans and pay the loans late it go to the third party at credit bureau not to do anything with the law firm or legal investigate.

Receiving harassing phone calls from number 803-728-1768. Need them to STOP ASAP!

i recieved a phone call from this number. ther person stated he was calling from an attorneys office winston and associattes, and his name was mike johnson and sounded from another country. he stated i had a legal matter attached to my name and ssn regarding a payday loan. i asked him to verify the information and stated i would be transfered to to another attorney names david jones . i asked him  who was the creditor, his bar # and he then stated to F$$% myself and if i didnt pay he was going to come and get me. i then stated that this was being sent to the attorney generals office and again he stated "go F$$$ myself

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

This man with a thick accent has ben calling me off and on for over a year.  I have tried repeatedly to tell him nicely that I do not know "David", that I have had my "cell" number for over 20 years and he still calls. Today I asked what company he was with and where they were located.  After I was done he asked why?  I told him so  I know where to send the AG Compliant.  Then she started to hollar -F___  you , F____you, F___you into the phone and hung up.  Since I work for a collecting attorney I know what he can and cannot say.  And this is definately it.  Had he been employed here, he'd be packing up his desk by now.   You can bet I will locate this little pig and when I do I will file  a complaint with AG for his total lack of professionalism and potty mouth.

I rec'd a threathening message that i was being sued and that my attorney needed to call him back. His name "Mark" threathened that he was going to report me to the local authorities, call my employer and notify the social security administrative office! I called him back and left a message but he refused to call me back. He waited a week to call me back that I'm ignoring him so he is going to file the lawsuit b/c his "Sr. Attorney" advise him to. Got a miss call from him this morning and then after that I got 2 miss calls from the detectives office. Wow he has gone beyond...how desperate!!

Big old scam. Waisted my time. I played along with them and then let them have it. They hung up on me. Get a real job losers.

I recieved a voice mail from this number stating that I needed to call them or turn it over to my attorney. Said they were gonna report me to the social security and the unemployment office. Told me to call the number and when I did it was all circuits busy. His name was Mike somebody. What the world, how am I supposed to call them when it is busy all the time. I think it is just some scam. I will wait for them to take me to court. LOL!

Not legal Not legal Not Legal.. When I asked for written information about the lawsuit "This Mike Jones" threaten and cursed me and said he would see me in court. However, we do not live in the same state ( this bogus cell phone caller lives in South Carolina). If the are trying to collect on supposed debt they are going about it the wrong way. Under the Fair Debt Collections Act, if a person tells them to stop calling them or ask for a legal documentation about the law suit, they must cease calling you or porvide this legal documentation. This guys are someone trying to get some money out of you. My guess is they are not even a legal firm at all. I have never received any written correspondence that they have claim to have sent me. Until I receive a legal court document I am no longer concerned. Hope this helps the next person. Oh by the way, It is against the law for someone to use bad language or swear at you in collecting a debt or a legal case. I know, I use to work in debt collections before debt cases were turned over for legal action.

just rec'd a call from this number...A "Mike Jones" and I know that's not his real name as I could barely understand a word he was saying with his THICK middle eastern accent.... but what I got out of if was, I have a lawsuit against me but wouldn't give me any details and wanted my attorney's information.
