THIS NUMBER CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT I WAS REGISTERED ON A BRIDAL REGISTRY AND THAT I HAD WON A FREE GIFT  AND A HONEYMOON FOR FREE. THEY WANTED ME AND MY FIANCEE TO MEET THEM AT THE WINGATE HOTEL HERE IN COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA. MY FIANCEE AND I KNEW RIGHT AWAY THAT IT WAS A SCAM BECAUSE NO ONE GIVES AWAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT FOR FREE AND I DIDN'T EVEN DO A BRIDAL REGISTRY.

I recognized the area code as I live in South Carolina. Rang twice and I answered and they hung up. I was reading through other posts, and I too just got married at the beginning of September and was registered with bridal websites.

I recieved this call this morning on my job! They called offering me a chance to have $25,000 or a brand new Ford Hybrid...I declined the offer. The lady wouldn't stop pushing me to enter. I told her several times I was not interested. I asked how they received my info she just kept saying, which of those two would you prefer more I said ma'am you are avoiding my question. She just kept repeating her question and details of the sweepstakes. I then said ma'am I am NOT interested, I would appreciate you taking me off your calling list. She kept talking. I finally said you are full of crap if you want me to believe this is legit. She kept on. I said okay you call or use my info anymore I will get the law involved for harassment. She then said okay have a good day I hung up.

They called me offering me a chance to have $25,000 or a ford hybrid....do not accept....i registered at davids bridal and im sure thats how they got it.

Called left no message.

Received a call basically telling me that because I had registered on a bridal website, my name was automatically entered in a sweepstakes, and that it came with a bundle offer for $100 voucher or diamond watch, three free magazines (Glamour, Lucky and something else) for a year, and a deal for 60 months for three more magazine subscriptions for $3.49 a week. I told them I didn't want to pay for magazines I didn't want, and after five minutes of trying to politely decline, the supervisor I was on the phone with told me that "You'll never get married if all you ever say is 'no'." I don't know what kind of sales pitch this is, but I thought it was very rude.

BEWARE! A scam sweepstakes company called me from this number trying to sell magazines and claiming I won a $100 voucher and other gifts!!

Asked for someone else and when I said they weren't here he said thanks then hung up.

Call 4 or more times and hung up.

Recived call. Didn't answer.
