Keep calling even up to 9:30 at night

We've received a call from this number and have been on the "Do Not Call" registry for years. Caller ID identified the number as RSL but when we called the number it went to "Gum Shoe Books".  They did not leave a message but there were people and  activity in the  background noise.

They called me and I did not answer. I dialed *67 (my phone company's anon caller code) then 803-779-1871. I asked a man there if he called and then hung up. I will do this every time I get a call from them and you should too.

I just answered a call from 803-799-0101.  The guy stated that it was a research firm and wanted to speak with a male over age 18.  He asked me if I voted in the last election.  Then asked if I would vote in a Democratic Primary?  I told him that I would vote for a Democrate in this next election.  He then stated the survey was over.

I know who this is - I got a call yesterday from a company called Cranftford and Associates stating they are a research firm and hosting a research group for an hour and a half meeting they will pay $70.00. I had six missed calls from the number so I called back and got the Gum Shoe Store listed above, but then I remembered the lady from Columbia (803) stating she would call to confirm my attendance...Pieces of the puzzle - so this is a scam?

Gum shoe Books is a valid business & even participated in the recent SC Book Festival.  Someone at the facility must be connected with political polling.

This number harasses us several times per week. We don't answer and there is no message left. The phone number is affiliated with:

I don't know if this is a bogus address or not. I might check it out. An alternate number listed for Gumshoe books is 803-779-1871 if you want to call and complain.

I called the number back and got an answering machine that said it was gum  shoe books.

Got a call on my cell fron this number.  It was a recorded message from the chairman of the Spartanburg County (SC) Democratic Party telling me to attend a breakfast they are having this Saturday.  (Spartanburg is in the 864 area code).

I have been getting calls from this number for the past two month, with caller leaving no message.  Rec'd call on 10/19/08 @ 2.00 pm from a fast talking female.  Picking up bits and pieces of her conservation, it appears to be some type of political scam.  I told her I was not interested in talking about politics and hung up.

I just recieved a call from this number September 22, 2008 at 8:20pm. I looked up the number on google earth and found out it is located in a parking lot behind some warehouses on Huger St near junction with Lady Street. Could be locvated in those warehouses. Undefined building- other than some book store affiliation. That is as far as I got. I hope they don't call again. Since somehow they managed to use my "no call national registry number."

i get calls from these peoples daily for the past few months, it says research onthe id box so i think they may be about the election coming up soon. i honetly dont care to talk to anyone about the election because no matter who wins will screw over us american again anda again. were americans and we dont matter to those pricks tht want us to vote for them. they send jobs over seas and we get people like  haji haksonenam or something like that to call us and think the words they are saying are in english. WRONG. i just hang up on them everytime they call, i often scream really loud before i hang up. i have even fired my 9mm pistol next to the phone in my back yard in hopes of giving them a major headache. thats my goal lol
