They call no stop, 4-5 times a day and if they dont get ahold of the person they are seeking they hang up on you. If you call back to get them to stop, they say they arent solicting, they are callign for a reason. I told the lady that me telling them that the person isnt available should not be a reason for them to hang up on me.
They are rude and inconsiderate and harrass people at work! If i were you never take a loan out with them. My coworker was only 2 days late and they started they circus act!

Citi Financial Auto Loan. Calls relentlessly if you are late.

17 calls over the holidays,  Remember the old days when hang up calls were illegal?  I do and now that I have gotten over 17 calls in the past few weeks concerning furniture financed through citi- financial that WAS RETURNED I believe its time to contact local authorities, the banking commission,the attorney general, write letters to the Post, Times, The Observer and whom ever to tell of citi-financial's tactics of calling and hanging up to get people to call them back to bill collect.  The problem is that they are relentless- not to get to the bottom of the issue, we have been called liars, cussed at and even hung up on when trying to explain the furniture was returned and we are not going to make paments on something we do not own.  It is harassment to be called and hung up on.....everyone needs to get together call the authorities to have this type of harassment dealt with.  One telemarketer told me they are a huge corporation we we can't touch them.

At one point they will tell you you have a 10 day grace period- but on the other hand if you are more than 2 days late- which I believe they do have a scam for this because if you mail your payment at the post office 10 days prior to the due date (as required)for some reason it doesn't get posted for 20 days. (I know this for a fact.)So from there they begin the 2X a day phone calls to you or who ever else they can call(?)is this even legal? one time they called my daugter's in law's (New cell#) and told her that I had given her number to them to contact me- But guess what- she wasn't even my daughter in law when I bought the car-this is totally impossable!(especially seeing as my payment was only a couple of days late (according to them)-But I have also seen this number and written it down- but they also call alot on on private and different numbers because they are legally harrarasing people and this is a way to avoid getting caught.

Called me, and did not leave a message.  I called back to see who the egghead is.  They don't even say hello-just, "yeah, will you hold?"  Found out it was Citifinancial.  I don't even have an account with them.  I would rather walk or ride the bus before I finance with them or any bank that is a bank of america affiliate.  This includes one of 20 or some banks that, if you will read the fine print, will tell you that they are all one bank. Thanks for the bailout.

I was told that I had a 10day grace period on payments when I bought my car but CitiFinacial Auto starts calling the day after my due date if they have not received my payment. I makes me so mad.

recieved a call on my YAHOO VOICE NUMBER!!! Not only do I not have any loans through CITI, I am deployed and the only number I have I received one month agao and is a YAHOO VOICE number. IDIOTS!!!

I've read your comments and this is CitiFinancial they give me information on my account. But, your right I,m only 7 days past the due date and get 2-3 calls a day. Its ridiculous and its starting to piss me off!! I get a call everyday from this number 8038352505 asking for the same person and every time I tell them they have the wrong number yet they still keep calling. I have no loans with citi financial and have no idea where they got my cell phone number. Its so irratating

Ok. I was legitimately late on my payment but this was the first time.  I set up payment arrangements and I thought everything was all taken care of.  No, the next day another person called and said there were no notes on my account about this transaction and he was very rude.  He said his name was Deepak and I could hardly understand him with his accent being so thick.  I had to keep asking him to repeat himself and apologized for doing so but he got the worst attitude with him.

Definitely citi--  Just to let you know, it is illegal for them to call you at work.  First, tell them you are at work, you don't want to be harassed at work.  After that it is illegal.  Also, they can not threaten you.  PS-- Did you know if you are active duty military, they can not repo your vehicle, even if you don't make the payments?  Found that out when they called my phone non-stop trying to get to my ex--- interesting.

i get calls at 8:30 am..at work..and on my cell. and they never leave me messages. this happens when im not late on my payment!! ridiculous!

We continue to get relentless calls from this number no matter how late we are on a payment usually anfter the first day the payment is due. Most of the time know one is on the other end of the line. What is this exactly and why is it allowed.

They call from different phone numbers too trying to trip you up.  I started getting numerous calls from different Citifinancial offices when my payment was 2 days late.  Had no idea what area code 803 was so assumed it was a telemarketer.  They are ridiculous with the calls!

Don't even bother answering. We've programmed them in the cellphone to not ring. They call before we're even late, helped throw off our budget with bizarre charges, and if you tell them when you are going to pay, they advise you that they will make a note, but the calls won't stop. Complete a**holes (which is why they're under that moniker in the call ID). I'm sure the employees, or at least a few of them, are hardworking if misguided young people trying to make a living, but the company itself has lost my business for life. I will never associate myself with any company sporting the prefix "citi", just because they've been such incompetent do***ebags. I am willing to pay extra to refinance just to be rid of them. Worst part? We're if anything a couple days late at best, but they've dinged our credit report with "regularly 30-60 days late". I hope every one of their buildings burn down, all their records are lost, and their CEO's are caught in a huge drug scandal.

I had a loan with some small bank in Virginia before this loan with Citi. The loan with the small bank was a delight. An absolute delight, the payments were done with the old method of paystubbs so you knew exactly when you would be done.

I've hated this morons at Citi. First of, Citi is mayoralty owned by Saudi Arabian oil moguls. Is not like they are hurting for money. Second, their business practice is to hire the most unskilled, uneducated morons to make their calls. It is actually very easy and sometimes even fun to mess with them because they are just so ignorant.

I was a collections manager for a power company, and I am not talking about $500.00 car payment bills. More like $120,000.00 electricity bills for factories and warehouses. We immediately fired anyone who was even mildly rude or unprofessional. And we recuperated much more than similar companies who used the "thug intimidation will break your legs method."

I have had my loan with Citi Financial for just one year and they call every month on the due date and if the payment is one or two days late they call 5-6 times per day on both my home and cell phones.  They are relentless and have the poorest customer service I have ever dealt with.  I will never NEVER go through them again.

This is Citi.  They've actually called me BEFORE my payment was due to see if I wanted to make my payment.  I hung up on them!  I also have their numbers stored in my cell phone & for their ringer I have "none", so if they call, I don't even know it. Unfortunately, I don't think you can do this with a landline.

803-835-2505 and 817-835-3214, call the office a few times a day, everyday! When I answer the line the phone is silent for a second then click it hangs up?! I know the number(s) are affiliated with Citi Financial but they're system seems to not work properly.

Stop the calls. THey come daily and I do not have ANY late credit card payments and absolutely no car payments--paid cash for both of mine.

ANNOYING CONSISTENT CALLS, THEY DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE!

This is not CitiFinancial.  It is a scam with numbers that trace back to various legitimate businesses.  When you return the call they are obtaining information and have been known to even hijack faxes.

For the last few weeks on my caller ID this number keeping showing three to five times a day.  It is a South Carolina call.
Finally this morning I answered the phone.  I asked what they wanted.  "It's a personal matter."  So I played along and pretended to be my nephew.  The lady gave me a different number for "me" to call back-888-350-9063.
Got on line and called the main number for CitiFinancial Auto in Virginia.
Took my phone number and after 5 minutes transferred me to someone who wanted me to repeat everything that I had just said to the previous person, etc.  She hung up on me when I asked why they needed my name.

Called back the main number in Virginia and got a different person who told me that my number was not in their system and they did not solicit business, etc.

Filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Also, I do not have an account with Citi Financial.
