I also bought a Mazda three days ago. Told me I might get a survey in the mail didn't mention a phone call. Guess that 100 they wanted just turned into a 90

I bought a Mazda a few days ago and, by the looks of it from this site, it's a survey regarding the sale. I don't answer phone numbers that I don't recognize. Wish Mazda would've told me I would get a call about the car sale.

Just got work done on my Mazda from the Mazda dealership and received a call from this number a day later. Did not answer. Thanks Mazda for giving my number out. Last time I do business with you.

Just bought a mazda on saturday. And received a call monday at 5:52pm. I didn't answer as it was not a number I recognized and they did not leave a message. Thanks to this website I definetly won't answer now...Mazda should know if I am happy or not since I dropped a ton of money their way.

I also received a call from this number and decided to google it. When I started reading the responses about purchasing a new Mazda, it made perfect sense. I just purchased a new Mazda 2 days ago. That had to be what the call was about.

Assuming this is service follow up for Mazda, I also have a Mazda that was serviced 3 days ago.

Purchased a new mazda 6 a couple of days ago and received a call from this number today for the first time. Likley what the call was about. Glad I found this website.

I also just bought a Mazda and received two calls from this number. No message was left. After reading this thread I'm assured that it is Mazda customer service and will answer if called again. Zoom zoom!

that makes sense. My daughter got her Mazda 6 serviced last week. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. How stupid is that?

I bet if we all started ANSWERING & giving Mazda a poor rating because of this and the way they're handling their customers AFTER the sale, I bet we'd have better luck than just logging our gripes here! Just an idea.....I bet they'd start leaving messages then! I think it's poor customer service to have them have an outside vendor call us for opinions and not even be courteous enough to leave a message!

If this is Mazda, they need to have company now on the ID.

I called back and tried to tell them to never call again. They note they are "allowed to call". However - call 800-864-8601 and get on their do not call list. Seems to have worked.
infamouskid 2011-08-09 21:42:00 Unknown
did not pick up, and yep, my mazda6 was serviced last week too
New Mazda owner 2011-08-03 03:07:55 Unknown
I have received 2 calls from this number and have ignored each call. They come around 8pm at night. I just bought a new Mazda a week ago and the salesman told me I would receive a satisfaction call. They should at least leave a message but they don't. Oh well, I won't answer the calls unless they call during the day hours, the salesman knows that I work the swing shifts. Shame on them.. I am working when they call.

I just bought a mazda last week. GOt hsi phone call too but no message
Wendy 2011-06-30 23:52:34 Unknown
I keep getting this call from Mazda Customer Care that I don't pick up. The funny thing is that I don't even own a mazda.
Thomas 2011-06-06 20:59:15 Unknown
It was a survey company doing an after-service follow up for Mazda. They wanted some feedback on a recent repair that was done.
W 2011-06-06 20:59:15 Unknown
JUST GOT A CALL FROM THEM... BUT I IGNORED IT. THE FUNNY THING IS, I'VE JUST PURCHASED A MAZDA!
Louis 2011-06-06 20:59:15 Unknown
Mazda Survey as stated above... It is not illegal for them to call you even if you are on a Do Not Call Registry because the Registry does not cover "Current or Former Customers".
I used to work for Gevalia Coffee in college and we were asked that all the time.
edi 2011-06-06 20:59:15 Unknown
and by the way, why should i join this survey to help CSI rate my salesman, OK that guy gave me reasonable %rate and good price, actually he dropped 2.5% on APR & 1400$, so now this conclusion comes to my mind - Salesman (which was in fact really nice guy) wanted to rip me off my 1400$ plus intrest $$$, making good face to bad game, lieing to me for almost 1 hour i've spent there, and now CSI has attitude to call me with question to "rate my salesman". Honestly? Arch-crook? Why? I understand he is doing his job selling cars, but everybody knows they overprice them , and if you do not negotiate and do not know the market they just rip you off your money, so how can i be objective about that? It's just senseless, CSI please stop calling me...
I know it is off-topic but just has been hit by that train of thought :)
Chris 2011-06-06 20:59:15 Unknown
This is mazda's contracted agency to calculate CSI scores for the dealership you had it serviced at. It isn't like Mazda is selling your information, Mazda is trying to determine which service advisors/salesmen to keep and yes, they work on commission, and CSI scores help factor commission rates.
So don't get pissed, do your part to help them accurately.
They aren't obligated to adhere to a do not call list(DNC) as they are not selling anything.
