We keep getting calls from 804-318-4847 located in Chester Virginia, they identified themselves as "US Mortgage Quotes"  we have told them several times to stop calling, but they continue. Today I asked for his name; which he gave out as "John Coffin" when I asked where he was located, he said "Colorado"...when I asked for a number to return his call, he put me on hold and then said "919-361-4322" which is in Tennessee and when I asked for his manager's name, he said "David" and he did not know his last name.........then I blasted him for calling the house again after being told not to call back...and he hung up.

This phone number is currently being used by a third party debt collector Van Ru, with a principal place of business in Illinois.  One of the debt collectors that calls from this number is Jim Peterson.  I think they are using an auto dialer, because there is a bit of a hiccup between the moment that one answers the call and the moment that the debt collector asks for the person he is about to ask for.  The debt collector is using a service or algorithm to find & use phone numbers of employers, friends and relatives to collect debts.  

Called my cell phone last month, now today.  Said his name was Jim Peterson.  Asked for my friend by name.  Wouldn't tell me what he wants, who he is, etc.  

Have been getting calls for this no. for sometime, finally went to their website (www.callmeyer.com) and under services fill out the do not call. Lets see what happens.

Many calls received to the point that it's disruptive.  Don't know if political poll or what, but never a message.  Will appreciate any help you can get to make them cease.  Thanks.

give it a second or two after picking up the phone and then Say " TAKE ME OFF THE LIST"  a lady actually said ok ill do that.

Just got one a few minutes ago.

I have been receiving calls from this company daily for three weeks.  They never leave a message, and I never pick up, so they won't get my actual phone number. (I assume these are robot calls.)  I am on the Do Not Call list but repeatedly get these calls anyway.

By the way, I don't believe they are representing the "Democrat party" like you said. There is no "democrat party."

Very annoying calls from 804-318-4845.  Will not leave a message and will not respond when phone is answered.  Phones only come during week when I am at work.  Was home one day last week and received three calls.

Use back arrow and resubmit as many times as you feel like.  Called number and entered info to be removed from call list did not work yet.

Finally got to unload on the caller!  Told her to remove my number from her data base.  We'll see.

Number comes up along with "Unavailable".  When answered, no response.  Am trying to get the number blocked through Verizon's FIOS but so far even they can't tell me much.  When trying to return call, it's the old "try again" message.

Just be careful who you talk to like that some of these peoPle you are speaking to are under age:(

Got my first call today and checked online, as caller ID showed name was "UNAVAILABLE." The website for Meyers Teleservices notes that it is accredited by the Better Business Bureau.  It also has a form prominently displayed to allow you to request that your telephone number be placed on their "do not call list."   Rather than use the form, which may or may not produce the desired result, I think it could be extremely helpful for people who receive repeated calls over a long period to send a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau about this firm, which also uses the name Meyers Associates Teleservices.  Three "branches" of the firm are all located in Saint Cloud, MN.  The use of calls with hang-ups, short ring times, etc. are valid grounds for complaints to the BBB and to the DNC, as they are illegal and certainly grounds for removing their BBB accreditation.   Go to www.bbb.org.

All my anger and frustration over these losers just melted away as I laughed(almost hysterically) at your post. I keep re-reading and laughing. This number calls me repeatedly and I strongly suspect it's a debt collector (not for me, for a relative).  The reason I say that is almost EVERY time they've called me - with "Unknown Name" - it's the same day that "Local Office" (804-955-4050) calls.  Local Office is apparently a 3rd party debt collector for Capital One.  In any case, their calls are NEVER answered nor returned.  I even have that as part of my outgoing message WHICH they've listened to, yet still keep calling.  Doesn't bother me in the least; my phone is set to 2 rings plus they almost always call while I'm at work.  I'm in the 804 area code but I'm NOT stupid.  Good luck, MORONS!

Well another call. Told them the person they wanted (me) was not home. Wouldn' t leave a message and hung up. Googled the number and came here. Saw their website link above and knowingbthe FCC cannot put "political" telemarketers on the DNC list i entered all my numbers on their "internal DNC list" on the website. We'll see if that stops the calls.

I have added my numbere to your own do not call and you still call!! And over and over back to back! Im really getting ticked off at this point!! Get a hint!

If it really is Meyer Teleservices, they have a spot on their webpage to be added to THEIR do not call list.  If it is a political survey, they don't have to answer to the federal DNC list, but if you request to be added to theirs, they have to respect that.

We had just had a death in the family so I answered the phone, thinking it might be important.  The caller asked for me.  I told her she couldn't talk to me and asked to take a message.  She said she "wanted to thank me" for something.  I don't remember what it was, but it was something with which I would never be associated.

Well, being unemployed, I took their call. Having nothing to do, I decided to inconvenience them by seeing how long I could keep them on the phone by interupting with personal questions, comments about the weather, where they were calling from and various observations as they came to mind. Then, because they were calling on behalf of the EPA, hoping I'd sign a petition calling for even greater control, I decided to go into high gear, and speak of the onerous regulations on business and the unintened, nefarious consequences these hippies have on business prosperity. Then, I enlightened the caller as to the case of the Sacket family whose fight to save their land from the EPA has reached the Supreme Court who found in the Sacket's favor, but still has not stopped the EPA from pursuing its radical, hippy-era policies that won't end until we all live in tents and burn our own dung for fuel, Finally, at the 15 minute mark, I asked the female telemarketer if she would talk in a husky voice so I could masturbate.  Needless to say, the call ended and I don't think I will hear from them anytime soon.

I keep getting calls. When I call back recording says i is a do not call line for Meyer Telemarketing and to key in my number to be put on a do not call list . I've done  this a number of times and still get calls.I  haven't answered a call when it comes in as I recognize that number .

These guys are at it again. THEY Leave no message and call backs go to a blank mailbox.

same thing just unwanted calls, hangup when i anwser , dont leave mesages on answer mach. but since every1 else gets them and they been doing this since 08, its pointless to complain.SIGH
