Got a call from 253-245-2327--left message about the supposed $3000 gift certificates for seniors and a free medical alert... definitely a scam. Unfortunately, there are many seniors who will believe it...

Continues to call, night and day, no messages ever left. Very irritating.

The dnc does not protect you from scammers, frauds, extortionists or your relatives calling! It only keeps the honest ones honest..Shame isn't it?

Called these a***oles back and it says the number you have reached is not in service.

Caller Id showing up with the phone number 8043683772.  We never answer the phone I will never buy or doante anything to this company.  They harass my entire family.

Called again.  What is the incentive that makes these people keep calling us when we obviously want nothing to do with them or their product.  What income do they get to keep making these unwanted calls.   It makes no sense to me.

Just phone number shows up

This company calls us two to three times a day.  We are being harassed by this company. Cease and desist.

Bob you are right. It does no good to report these calls. Lots of loopholes in the law.

Just received a call this Saturday afternoon from 804-368-3772.  Since there was no name listed, I didn't answer and it went to answering machine only for the caller to hang up.  If it isn't important enough to leave a message, it isn't important enough for me to answer.

Calls about once a week asking to schedule time to install a med alert system that someone has already prepaid.  Still call back, despite saying 1) I'm on DNC list 2) I've confirmed with all family members no one has bought one and 3) do not want it.

I don't think there have been any fines levied against telemarketers violating the do not call list.  They won't tell you if any action is taken.  The Do Not Call list is a farce.

Get the law involved, and prepare for them to change phone numbers after a day or two. That's how they roll.

There is an article in the August AARP Bulletin that warns of, and explains, the medic alert for seniors scam, that is well worth the reading.

Just got the first of this junk call.  My answering device is on audible so I heard part of the spiel.  Same junk as the Med Alert system is shipping crud.  I get those calls constantly.

These Godless animals and devils must generate a new computer-generated tie-line number every minute, as you can see from all of the numbers posted above.  None of them are issued by a legitimate telephone company (common carrier).  These people think we are stupid enough to give them personal data, SSNs, credit card numbers, etc. so they can steal everything.  This is another indication that we must urge our elected reps in DC to significantly strengthen the DNC laws to prohibit the use of any number not issued by a legitimate telephone company (common carrier), plus no soliciting for any political, charitable, survey, opinion research, or telemarketing, no calls unless the real name of the company is shown on Caller Id, etc.  This is another example of why everyone must PLEASE write their elected reps in DC to demand strengthened DNC laws with severe dollar penalties and prison sentences. The strengthened law must include the requirement that ALL businesses and individuals must be correctly identified on Caller Id, no use of computer-generated phony numbers or tie-lines, no repeated calls, and require them to leave a message.  We need call control, not gun control!

When I'm alone in the house and receive these kinds of calls, if I have a spare moment, I'll press the number to talk to the live person, and then blow a referee's whistle in his ear, good and loud.  Doesn't stop the calls, but makes me feel better.

All you need to do is add your number to the do not call list and report them to donotcall DOT gov.  They get fined $5000 for EVERY call.

Call went to answering machine - left no message.  First time this one called me.  All calls I don't recognize go to answering machine.  Many thanks to other commenters for info on who this is.

just received same call, asked for name and said is this the best number to call you back on if I we get disconnected, I said yes and they hung up.
