Received text: Attn. Best Buy shopper, your entry has won!  Enter code 2012 to claim your $1000 gift card.  Found this sight when I Googled the web address.  I haven't been a Best Buy shopper so it is a scam.  I don't want to be a customer either.  Thanks, but NO THANKS!

Scam $1000 Best Buy gift card text message

Received the same text message but to "Attn PA. Shopper".  Entered URL and there was a minute, second counter indicating how much time was left before I could enter "for my chance at winning."  Privacy statement, and terms and conditions, state you must enter the names and e-mail addresses of at least three friends.  I did not read any further.  Message came in at around 5 a.m.

It appears I won the $1000 gift card from Target like every one of you as well. LOL

Myself and 2 close friends also received  the text  about  winning  $1000  from   target.    We  want  to know how they got or numbers.   We don't shop there.

Message came from the same number only this was a $1000 gift card for Target. enter code 7757 This is the url targetrdzn.com/?3333. BOGUS!!!!

This number just texted me about the Target gift card. Too bad it's BS.. I could really use that card.

Suspected scam, Googled it, found this site.

Got 2 separate text messages that my BestBuy entry had won $1,000.  Didn't even try to respond since I knew it was a scam.  BUT THEY'RE TEXTING ME AFTER MIDNIGHT, waking up my household even though they're located in my same time zone.  (Can't turn my phone completely off because of an elderly parent.)  I don't know how to stop this!

Got the same message an hour ago from this morning with code 7757. Probably a spambot. Adolescent fuckery like this contributes to America being 27th in Internet quality, behind Serbia, Syria, and Lord knows who else. ughh...

I got a text saying I had won $1000 at best buy- knew it was a scam because they based the text based on my phone number- but I havent lived in that state for years.

I received a text from 804-389-6606 that stated I had won a $1000 gift card from Best Buys.  All I had to do was reply and enter code 7757 to claim it.  I checked the web address given on the text (bestbuyrwdz.com) and it was not valid.  There are many internet complaints about this being a scam.  ???
