What merits you to say that this company is scamming people?
Christine Carnesi 2014-06-13 02:30:14 Unknown
I will say that if your phone number is connected to a business there is no such thing as a business do not call list. Sorry folks! What I'd like to know is how so all of you market and advertise for your companies?
Christine Carnesi 2014-06-13 02:26:46 Unknown
It seems like "Bob" has not too many other important tasks (as a business owner) that to waste the time of people trying to make a decent living by helping businesses get in to the government market. It's called a consulting firm for a reason. If a company has to reach out to businesses nationwide a simple phone call is a good way to start. Government contracting is not for every business. Those who have the qualifications and the knowledge of how the government purchases are the type of people that do listen seriously and are the people who do hire professionals to get in the door! If all this company ever did to you was call you and offer you a potential opportunity why do you continue to bash them? I'd like to see the reviews of your company. Care to share?

Called my Do Not Call listed phone on March 13, 2014 at 1:18pm ET. My phone has been listed on the government Do Not Call List since the very beginning and these criminal scammers still call regardless. Probably the only ones who can successfully identify the exact location of these criminal scammers is the NSA. We need to work with our political representatives to get legislation passed that will allow / require the NSA to work with local police agencies to shut these criminals down permanently.

Each to their own, but many times having an "open mind" and being gullible, can be closely associated.

Like I stated in one of the other comments, this company is a FULL SERVICE CONSULTING FIRM. They offer a lot of different outlets to HELP you do paperwork.... theres no fraud in marketing services for a fee. You dont start a business with no money, and you dony grow it that way either... you people are ridiculous giving these people a hard time for doing their jobs.
OpenMind 2014-04-01 03:22:51 Unknown
This company is a full service provider, like any H&R block, asking for a one time processing fee to DO YOUR PAPERWORK. There is no fraud, I have done business through many of their contracting outlets, as well as recieved federal certifications.

They've called the last couple of weeks - usually in the afternoon on my biz land line. They never leave a message.

They like me, they really really like me. 3rd or 4th call in the last month. Pre-record to my cell phone on the DNC. Pressed 1, but it dumped me to voicemail. I'm like HG, and generally like to string them along as long as I can. Hard to do when they put me in voicemail. Maybe they'll call me back.
HG is on the right track - the only way to kill off telemarketing is to talk to these people, extensively. While they are talking to you, they aren't making money. Hanging up works to their benefit, since it allows them to skip to the next mark as quickly as possible. Every time you string them along, you may cost them a sale. Each lost sale reduces their profit. No profit, no telemarketer. I've kept telemarketers on the phone for 20-30 minutes. That means only 15 or so people, each taking as much of the telemarketers time as they can - will crush any sales goals that telemarketer had for the day. With as many calls they are making, this puts the number on our side. Talk to them - it's the worst thing you can do to a telemarketer.

Got a call on my cellphone. I hang up as no response.

Nasty spam from a can.
I do my best to waste these peoples time when I can. Make it into a game. It's much less stressful for me, and much less profitable for them.
Have a nice day you pieces of crap!

It's me, Bob again. They called once more. Managed to keep them on the line for about 10 minutes of their time. Was driving, anyway, so it was better than listening to the radio. Maybe I kept someone else from having to talk to them. Charge you over $6500 to fill out paperwork you can do yourself (and probably a better job of it) by going to the gsa.gov website and working from there. They can't guarantee you that the government will contract to you, but that's that they claim. I asked them how they can guarantee that, and the guy came back with something about you get like a partial refund of your $6500. Claim they've been in business for a while, but their web site was only registered a little over a month ago (fedexpressconsulting.com - Feb 6, 2014), have very little contact information (no obvious phone number, addresses, etc). Sorry, if the first contact I get from you is a pre-recorded phone call, and you know nothing about my company, you have no apparent business history or contact info, the web site is a Wordpress site that probably only took a few hours to get on-line, yet want me to fork over thousands of dollars to you? Sorry, just doesn't pass the smell test for me.

I still often get calls from this number; but now, they just call and don't say nothing. What is proper course of action to take?
Thank you very much for all of your help.

I don't answer any unknown numbers... but this number called my cell. Thank goodness for the MrNumber app... no more telemarketing phone calls!

Our company is not far from Richmond, VA, so this is an area code I do pick up the phone for. I answered, yet was hung up on. I wager this is not a legitimate call and they were seeking a "good" number.

They are selling you a "service" for getting in on goverment GSA contracts. They started some time in February. Wonder if they will still be around in April.

Me again, pre-record call where I guess Ann wanted to chat a little more, but when I pressed 1 the call disconnected. I'm sure she'll call back. Darn it, I was driving at the time, and would have been happy to take up her time during my leisurely commute.

Highly illegal robocall about guaranteed government grants. Caller ID comes up as Virginia Call. Previous posters have shared important links to report this fraud, and I encourage you to file complaints. Here are the links again:

I receive calls from 804-404-7854 every week or two, usually midday on the west coast. Callerid says "Richmond VA". I never answer. If it was important they'd leave a message, but they never do.

I had a call on my cell phone at 10:32 am on 2/26/14. I haven't given Target my number, so the caller has to be getting numbers other places as well. Within the past month, I've had similar calls from Minnesota and Springfield Green, Mo., so possibly a list is being passed around.

Received call from this number - nothing was said so I hung up
