how come they know my name?

Repeated phone calls from this number to my cell phone.  They never leave a voicemail.  I finally answered.  They asked for me by first name.  I said "Who is calling".  They said "University Now".  I told them my number is on the Federal Do Not Call list and to remove my number from their automated dialing list.  They hung up without saying anything.

don't know who thy are and don;t care.  they need to stop calling my house.

Keep calling my cell phone.  How do I block them or get them to stop?

I keep getting calls from these numbers   212/231-4187  and 804/412-8293.I called back and blocked my number and the answering machine said it was some education place. There coming through Pa.My server can't even block them.I'm on the DNC list.It's usually about the same time every day.I seen a program on TV about them.There in coffee shop where they smoke a bong too.Then tyheres like 20 computers and they get on there.So watch out.I know a lady who it cost her 15k from her bank and phone bill was like $10,000 for 5 minutes.

they called my house like 6 times so finally i called back and got transfered to the customer service dept. where some really nice girl assisted me in putting my name on the do not call list. they haven't called back. but when i was talking to her she told me that they were some educational service that helps people find colleges for free, its actually a legit company.

They called me and an automoated message spoke to me in a pleasant and proper English accent... It was a little Scottish-like, maybe Cockney, but used prpoer grammar - un-Cockney-like... Then she gave me a web site name so fast that I couldn't record it as I was caught off-guard, but she called back: Education Ready 'dot' net - <educationready.net> and I checked it out... It seems like good info, but education is relative and should be looked into with great prejudice.

I do believe this is a 'real' company, whether they are "legitimate" or not remains to be discovered. Buyer beware!

P.S. The issue I have is that I must receive calls on my cell phone because of the nature of my work without knowing who the caller may be... I do not recall giving my cell phone number to this organization or any other.

Have called me two days in a row between 8 and 8:30 am! I have missed the call both times and they don't leave a voicemail. Typical of telemarketers.

I got a call this morning from 804-412-8293 to my cell phone with a voicmeail from a place called educationready.net. They claim to want to help me with school expenses. I have a masters degree already and a great job! I have no student loans. I don't need this company assuming that I'm uneducated or need their assistance whether it be for real or a scam. If people need help they know where to find it. Quit calling me!!! I'm on a do not call list.

these guy's are a complimentary service that helps people find schools that offer the program your looking to get into, both online and campus college's.

Got a called twice today on my home number from 804-412-8293 caller I.D. comes up Asland, VA and i didn't answer. I also called back and blocked my number got a message saying they are Education Ready.net I looked it up on the computer nothing. I am on the DNC list but they called anyway. I signed up for it through them and they said it takes 48 hours. I don't care if they are a real place they shouldn't call. Just be careful on who calls.

i called back and i got an automated machine that asked me right away if i wanted to be on the DO NOT CALL list. and i put in my phone number and it said i wouldnt be called again. pretty easy

This number keeps calling me over and over and whenever I answer they hang up. I have tried calling back, but I get no one on the line. Help!! Is there anything else I came do? I am already on the DNC list.

This company has been "education consultants" "Education Now" education this education that...  I got in touch with someone at the company one time and they told me that they don't have a way to remove phone numbers from their list.  

A legitimate company would not hide their actual location and mask their phone number.

This place has called me THREE times in the last 35 minutes.  I've been called multiple times over the last few days.  I finally answered on the last call and it was a hang up. I am currently reporting this place to the FTC.  I am FED UP!!!

More correctly, this site must have struck YOUR nerve. Why else would you be spewing here. Making the scam a little harder to pull off?

QUIT CALLING ME! I received three calls within 30 minutes. I am on the DNC list. These people need FCC charges filed against them. If you express your anger to them in a very profane way, they will not call anymore.

I just filed a complaint with donotcall.gov.
i have never visited their website ( educationready.net) nor do i EVER share personal information onthe internet. I cerainly hope they stop calling me. Its rude and annoying!

My phone is registered on the DO NOT CALL registery. It has been on that list for the last 5 years. I have already received 8 phone calls from this number in just the last 3 hours. This is ridiculous!!!
On the white pages reverse look up, I see that this number is unpudlished and a landline in Ashland Va.

These people started calling me Thursday, I actually talked to a person and told them I wasn't interested.  However I then received 3 more calls in the next 3 days from them, which I did not answer.

I found if you have VERIZON WIRELESS LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE and you can BLOCK UP TO 5 NUMBERS, No charge.  I have done this so I don't expect to hear from them anymore.

They have called here 6 times today! I finally got mad and answered the phone and got hung up on! I have never requested any type of education money! Not to mention my number is unlisted! To H#ll with a whistle I have one of those emergency horns. I will use that on your Dumb A@@!!!!!
