Wonder who this is?!!?!?

Caller ID says 804-417-4639. They asked for my 88 year old father. I explained that he was hard of hear actually was taking a nap. She said she would call back and I told her - don;t bother, becasue she would need to speak to me. Finally she told me she was with the Herbal Group and my Dad had requested information from them. I said no way, and told them not to call back. We shall see what happens!

I have been receiving calls from this number for a few days and they never left a voicemail, so today I decided to answer. They claimed to bwith "the publisher" and that I had won a $1000 online shopping spree and proceeded to want to know what I did for a living and a couple other survey type questions. Then the lady says that they were also sending me 6months of magazine subscriptions and only wanted me to set aside $3.95 and when I said no thanks I was not interested she just hung up.

I got a call from 804-417-7489 the first person said "Marketing".....I hung up and called back someone said "Law firm",

got a call from this nuber at 08:21 this morning. a male voice spoke my first name and then, hung up.  I called back and, it's a nonworking number.  I'm in the process of reporting it to the fcc and, all of the major service providers. some provider is giving this number legs and I intend to find out who. I'll get back when it's resolved.

Skype VOIP service uses this number as a gateway for their SkypeOut program. When people using Skype call somebody in Richmond, VA caller ID sometimes shows this number.

I JUST GOT THIS PHONE # ON MY CALLER ID BUT WAS MY BOSS CALLING FROM HIS CELL PHONE.STRANGE.

i tried calling this number back to see who they were with and it said unavailable/not working, so i did some slightly thorough research and will get further into it tomorrow, but i wanted to share what i have so far! i put the number in whitepages.com under "reverse" and it pulled up a neighborhood off of Atlee Rd. in Mechanicsville, VA. It was near Hillis Way, so I looked into it and found some addresses and names with unavailable numbers!! here they are... 8124 Hillis Way Mechanicsville, VA 23111-5930 : Mehboob P Valiani ( even sounds suspicious!, 8155 Hillis Way

There is a good chance they are spoofing the number.  I have been getting strange calls like this for the past couple of days and they don't leave a message.  Maybe some company is trying to gather information for marketers.  But I would never give my social to anyone over the phone I did not know.  My bank wont even ask that.  This sound like fraud and there is no real company associated with the number.

I received a call from this number yesterday on my cell.  It was a recording stating they wanted to offer me an extended warranty on our vehicle.  This is not the first time.  I have received calls from several different numbers with the same exact recording and have complained to the FCC about it since my number is on the do not call list and has been for some time now.

Received a call today stating that she was from your online services.  I asked her to confirm who my online service was with.  She got very defensive and said the name of her company is "Your Online Services".  She said she wanted to update the information for the online white pages for my company listing.  She had my company name and home mailing address (which were published erroneously in the Richmond white pages 2 years ago).  She had a heavy foreign accent.  Surprisingly she didn't hang the phone up when I started asking a lot of questions.  She just kept telling me that the company name was "Your Online Services".  The number on caller id was 417-4896 and listed as "LLM Services".  I have gotten this call previously but have hung up in the past.

Just got a call from this number and he said that he was "Frank" from American Bank. Wanted to help me obtain a refi on my home. Said he was out of CA but they had a branch in Richmond, VA. Knew my email. Wanted to pull my credit for loan consideration and asked me for my ss #. I told him to email me the info that he wanted, who he is with, etc. and the call suddenly dropped!

Claimed she was a Dr. with important medical info. She had a thick a accent and asked for the wrong name.
