Got a call from 804-442-3011 . Caller id shows Virginia.Called on 9/21/10 @ 8:44 a.m. They've called the house before, are scam artist. I am on the Do Not Call list.. Wish they would stop calling..

Just got a call from 804-442-3011 @ 5:58 pm on 07/29/10, they identified themselves as calling on behalf of the F.O.P.  When I asked the name of the organization, I was told JAK Productions.  I asked how much of each dollar went toward FOP, vs how much administrative costs; I was told 70,000.  I asked out of how much they hemmed hawed around and said out of 100,000.  I confirmed the information I was given and told them they could call back tomorrow if all this checked out via the BBB.  They immediately hung up.

This is from the "fraternal order of the police" requesting money.  They call me every week.  Our sherrif says it's a scam and to hang up on them.

I got this call at 8:30AM this morning. They didn't leave a message.

No caller id, hangs up if no one answers.  Everyone says "fraternal order of the police" .  I know they are a SCAM.

The same number called my house this morning @ 8:44 a.m. It's be almost 2 mos since I have been on the DO NOT Call registry! Did not leave a message, called number back & got a message to leave my number so a representative could call me back.. It's a scam!

I get calls from this number and various other numbers with various locations in Virginia.  I made the mistake of donating a small amount to them twice (about two years between each donation).  They are very unethical.  First, when you agree to donate, they make you promise to send the money within 2-3 days of receiving their invoice.  Then they hold your check and send another bill saying that they have not received the payment.  If you check your bank account, you see that the check has not cleared 2-3 weeks after you sent it in.  They then hope you will send a second check and then they cash both.

This number called with Virginia as the ID.  They said they were calling to collect money for the Kentucky State Police Foundation. Supposedly the KSPF helps support fallen troopers' survivors. I asked how they knew my number and last name.  They said I had given money in the past and even had my address (all are unlisted).  Well, I have never given them any donations and so began searching.  Tomorrow I'm calling the police department and Better Business Bureau.  Will probably post on Face Book tonight.

This caller called my house at 5;44 p.m on 7/22/10. Left no message, so I called back. Automated recording for a Children'' Charity. Didn't give the name of the charity. Basically a scam.. Shows up on caller id Virginia 804-442-3011 did a reverse look up shows Unpublished out of Mechanicsville, Va.

I received a call from this number today. It came up as "Virginia" on my caller id. When I answered they claimed to be calling from the Faternal Order of Police. I'd like to know how to have my number removed from these people.

I received a call at 8:51 this morning and did not answer as I do not answer calls that I do not recognize.  I have been receiving these calls several times this week.  It is an 804 area code which is the Richmond, VA area.  The only person that I receive calls from in Richmond is my son and that is not his number.  My number is on the "do not call" list but somehow the calls get through.  This is not the only number that calls me constantly.  I don't understand why political calls can call my number either.  I received numerous calls during the last primary.  Sometimes the number would only be zeros.  What is the solution to not receiving unsolicited calls?  It is still frustrating even if I don't answer.

We have begun to get calls from this number every morning at 8:17 a.m.  Telemarketers aren't by law allowed to use their predictive dialers until 9 a.m.  Like everyone else here I've done some searches on the number.  I hope our collective complaints/discussion leads to the termination of these calls.

Called me July 6 and July 7 right after 9 AM both days.  I don't answer and there is no message on my machine.

I get a call from this number 3 to 4 times a week, sometimes twice a day,including Sundays as late as 8:30PM.  I never pick up now because I suspect it is the organization that is hired by various police and fire charities to solicit donations.  I have given in the past and now I'm called on a regular basis- relentlessly.  The donation is not tax deductable because the caller gets a percentage of the take. Donate directly to your Fire and Rescue Groups if you can, and cut out the middle man!

I have been getting calls from this number for weeks, sometimes it say # unavailable, but I just have the feeling it the same people. Morning, noon, and nights, Mon- Sun. I do not answer a number that I don't reconize. It is so bad I have to turn off the ringer and my answering machine, because I work nights.Otherwise I would not get any sleep, and I do not won't to have my number changed because being a manager I have to many connections with venders and co-workers and employees with this number.I feel as if I am being harassed. Surely there is something to be done about these harassing phone calls.

This number calls me daily.  It says "unknown name" on the readout panel but the number appears on the Caller ID printout.  When I called them back, I only got a busy signal the first few times.  When trying another time, very late at night on a weekend, I got an answering machine  saying "We're sorry, your number cannot be completed as dialed. Please get an attendant to help you and dial again." (What attendant? I wondered).  If you want to find out the owner of the number, there are internet site agencies that will sell the info for a small fee to those interested in pursuing it further.  One such ssite gave sosme free info on it:  It is an unpublished number, it is a landline with the phone company "Cavalier Telephone", it is a landline located in Mechanicsville, Hanover County VA.  I did not pay for the rest, I'll just turn this over to the Feds and let my tax dollars do the work!
