I have also been receiving harassing calls from a Steven Marshall (thick Indian accent) who claims to be an attorney in California who has a client who is filing a law suit against me (something to do with my social security number).  I reported him and the phone number he gave me, 760-364-0537, to the Internet Crime Complaint Center.  I believe the personal information he has on me (including my sister's number, which he has also been calling) came from an online payday loan application I filled out but didn't proceed with.  He claims to have an electronic signature, which is false.  When I demanded that he send the so-called evidence he has against me in writing, or even to give me the details of the lawsuit that is supposedly pending against me, he refused and informed me that he would only send information in writing to an attorney.  He also stated that he would continue to call if I refused to cooperate.  I explained to him that was he was doing was against the law and that I had reported him and his number to the ICCC.  I am not sure what to do to stop him from harassing me because he is just going to get another Magic Jack California number after I block this one.  If you were able to do something that worked, please do share.

I also got a call from this number.  I told her to please not to call the number again, and she called me back ELEVEN times in a row.  She had called me a couple days before that asking if I knew how to get in touch with a friend of mine.  Where exactly should I go to make sure they are not scamming me?  Like I said, they know my name, but they claim they were calling in reference to a friend.  This lady was out of her mind.  After I hung up, she literally called 11 times within about 5 minutes.  It was ridiculous.

I received a call today but I did not answer because on the caller id it showed 0000. A lady with a foreign accent left a message and she said her name was Janice with NAS (Nationwide Affidavit Support). She stated that one of my friends mentioned my name along with my personal information as a reference. She wanted me to call her back before I get in trouble. When I did call her back she knew it was me without me even giving her my name. I asked her what this was all about and she kept asking me if I was Harley. When I told her to first answer my question since I asked her first she hung up. This must be a big scam but I will not fall into it.

I received a similar call today.  Some woman named Janice left a msg on my Cell with a return # 804-454-2600, something about an affidavit.  I called back and some jerk with an accent named Jose rodriguez said that my girlfriend listed me as a reference for a loan. When I asked for details he got nasty, called me dumb and hung up.

I got a call from a guy on my desk phone at work.  His name was Ryan Brooks from Nationwide Affidavit Support and the phone number was 813-398-4243.  He left me a message at work saying he had received an affidavit for my SS#.  I have filled out no such thing.  I did not return his call.  Later that evening, he called my second shift affiliate and tried to contact me.  He was not successful.  So, he called my Stepdad and told him I had applied for a loan.  Once again, I did no such thing.  So, I went online and bought a subscription to ID Theft Guard.  If you are experiencing anything like this, I suggest you do the same.

Same thing, third or fourth day in a row.  A guy with a very thick Indian accent left a message (I won't answer the phone anymore if it says 'unknown') saying his name is Samuel Rodriguez from NAS and that we have to call or we'll go to court.  How could these scammers keep this up for so long?  It's been years! Some people must actually be paying them!

I have been getting the same calls and they are now threatening to take my social security disibilites payments stopped as of mon. if I don't pay the 300.00 they say I owe them. Both me and my bank cannot find anywhere in my statements. they make me so mad when I tell them, they are a scam and to go to check the internet. The gentleman said he was from NAS. they have also called my references to see what they say. My Dad told them no one lives there by that name and hung up. I have had 3 calls from them today already and they don't even know how to put a phone on hold as they always hang up. They will not provide any paper work to me but said my lawyer was to contact them. I just don't answer the phone anymore from them as I know it on my caller id. that is how dumb they are. Well we will see what happens on Monday.

These people keep calling my work, so I kept calling them. Now when I call them they will just pick up the phone and place it down on the desk and will not even talk. My droid phone pulls the location of incoming calls and it places 800-454-2600 in Chester, VA. These people are probably going to keep calling my work and friends and family. I wish there was a way to stop them. By the way if you don't know, these people are fake, and they just want you to give them your hard earned money for nothing. About a month ago I got the same calls from a fake law firm in CA claiming the same thing, but then I called the real law firm they werte claiming to be and they jumped all over it.

A guy who claims to be Steve Marshall from NAS a debt collection agency has been calling and harassing me, my family, and friends for days.  I called the online loan company that I owe the debt to and told them about this guy to see if he is legit. They told me that he is a fake debt collector.  Imagine that!  If you owe an online loan company you need to contact that company directly to get the legit collection agency or the company may work with you to pay off your debt.  Thank God I made the call!  We know you are a scam now imposter Steve Marshall NAS.  You better watch out yourself.  Now the real US Dept. of Justice will be coming after you.  Have fun in jail =)

I received a very rude and annoying phone call from a guy with an accent that would not give me the name of the business he is calling from.  He said he has my social security number and that I owe him $300.  I would like to report this nonsense and have it put to an end.

Woohoot! That was fun! So an Indian called me by the name of Steve Marshall and left a threatening voicemail about being sued. I called them back and a woman answers and says he's not available but she is a supervisor and can speak to me on the matter. She tells me I took out a payday loan and references a bunch of payday companies and says I owe money and that they are going to sue me if I don't pay. Nope I tell her. I never went through with the loan. I proceeded to cuss her out and let her know the gig is up. We know they are a scam and that they are f$cking with people and trying to scam them. I told her your number is on the internet and we aren't going to take this kind of harassment anymore. Go ahead and change your number I tell her but we will figure that number out as well and post it on the internet. The days of fraudulent scammers like you are coming to an end because of people like myself that report it on websites. She hung up on me and when I tried to call back it said "The magic jack subscriber you are trying to reach is no longer available" LMAO

some idiot called telling me his name is Edward Walker (more like Sanjay Rjadich) saying i was a reference for my brother that borrowed $300. I called my brother and he said he never borrowed anything from them or had anything on his credit report regarding N.A.S. (nationwide affidavit support). There is no such company and they aren't even on the www.bbb.org (better business bureau).

This guy keeps calling, saying his name is David Gibson but he has a bad foreign accent and I find it hard to believe it's his real name. Says he is calling because I have someone against my SS# ending in, and they give the last 4 of my SS #. He calls about 20 times a day. It's old and annoying. LEAVE ME ALONE!
