I arrive in office  arround 8 am then someone calling me  i was shocked  because  the country code is + 18 i donk know anyone in this kind of code  +18774273368 when i answer he hang up the phone. so annoying

I received 3 calls from this no. With +18 code in front of it. Had a short conversation with a lady who said her name is sofia and claimed she works for microsoft and asked me for my windows key to verify if it is genuine or not. When i denied , she said my pc is infected with a deadly virus and she suggested me to visit a site (cant remember url) to clean all infected files. I hanged up after that

@salem oregon: she's not from india for sure. She couldn't understand a word when i was talking in my native language (i'm from india). Imo she was from arab/eastern european country.

Told him I didn't own a computer, he told me everybody owns a computer. Does everybody in India work as a scam artist? You have to wonder how these people are paid. If they are paid by the number of people they can irritate on an eight hour shift, they are well paid. I get to block twelve numbers, and they were number twelve. Why should anybody that is paying for a phone have to put up with this nonsense? Ask an elected official and they have a list as long as your arm why they cannot stop them.

I kept getting so many of these losers calling me I did so much research and found a call back number 315-633-4050. Iver been giving them the same treatment they give me except I make sure they know they're worthless and need real jobs.

this number keeps calling and when i call back, Verizon wireless comes on and tells
me that this number has been disconnected, is no longer in service or I have made an error in
dialing.
This number comes up on my phone and my caller ID and is the correct number.

this phone number appears continuously.  i do not want calls from this number.

My wife and I started getting these calls about a week ago.  The guy seems to only want to talk to my wife and had called the house 20 times in 5 hours.  We did file a police report but looks like we are just going to have to change our number.  There is no number that shows up on our caller ID, excpet once he called from a number from another country.  Oh well, it gets frustrating that people have nothing else better to do with their time.  I will have to use an iron horn first before I change my number.

I got a call from 804 466 9633.  The person with Indian accent insisted that my computer is infected with virus that he could help me to clean up.  I told him that I will call my tech support people to deal with any virus issues.

They call everyday 5 times a day!  I really am at my wits end.  I filed our number with the no call government listing.  It's not working.  I still get these calls.  Damn them! also from number 223-390-5400.  Who are these people????

I get these calls all day long, even though I'm on the Do Not Call List.  I just don't answer calls I don't recognize.  The problem with unsolicited, unwanted calls just gets worse...like our economy.  I blame it on Obama.

Received a call each afternoon all week on my retail store phone.  Assume autodial since there's nobody there.  Always in the afternoon with a showroom full of people.  Frustrating.

Got a call from these people - as soon as I answered they hung up. This was weird, so I rang the number back. A recorded message said the number was disconnected. This was weird too, so I googled the number and got a lot of people saying they are scammers. At least I am not being stalked!

Got the call tonight at 8:30.  The guy knew my name said he was from Microsoft, gave me his speil then wanted me to answer some questions about my computer.  I told him he was out of his mind.

Just missed my second call from this number, now I know what its about I might have some fun with this and offer to remote access their files and track their ip address, luckily I work in the computer industry lol, and im in australia.

Got a call from a woman claiming that they have been getting messages about Microsoft virus problems in my area. She had our names and the area we lived in. She wanted to know what kind of computer we had.  I hung up on her. I called the number back and the Verizion number was disconnected. I called Verizion to report it...nothing. I called my local sheriffs dept. and they said call Virginia! so I did and they said talk to the sheriffs dept. out here! Nothing to be done???? Oh I live in California

Have received two calls from this number. The first time it was someone wanting to know about my computer and how I might have viruses on it. However, they asked specifically for my husband by using my husband's name and asking if he was home. Yes, this someone had a very VERY very heavy middle eastern accent. The second time they stayed on the line when I answered and finally hung up without answering my hellos. My caller ID says it's a wireless caller.

This one was funny! Got the call--son lives in VA, so thought it might be him on another's cellphone--and a young Middle East/Asian lady asked if this was <my wife's first and last name>.

I said, "No, this is <my first name>, figuring if the person knew my wife, they would also know me. Young lady hesitated, then said, "Oh..." (with a long pregnant pause) and then, "Sorry."

Sometimes, the consumer wins, I suppose.
