A jerk has been calling me @ home from 407-608-4028 (what shows up on caller id.)  It's supposedly a landline in Orange county, FL.  (Did the revcerse look up.)  Thing is, our # isn't listed, or anything....Grrrrrr....it's a foreigner who at one point was telling me to calm down... dude, I AM calm.!!!  Telling me he was calling from the dominican republic (great reception.)  Also, was sayig I needed to keep the package, etc, asking for money.. anyone know where else I can report this?  (I live in Pa)  Thanks!

I am on the National Do not call List, I keep getting calls from this number to lower my interest rate.. the first 5 times they called I pressed 3 to no longer receive calls from this number again. After that did not work, I decided to try pressing one to talk to someone, the first two times I did that I was assured that I would be taken off the list. Then just today I got another call, pressed 1 again told them how upset I was, and before long all I heard was the sound of a busy signal he had hung up on me. Where can I go to file a complaint?? This is ridiculous!~!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number for some time now... I too am on the Do not call list.. today i did some research and called "phone busters" which is connected with the canadian police and they look into fraudulant calls. I was advised that this is definately a scam, and just because it is a virginia number they are likely not in virginia, just hacking into that number. I was advised next time they call, NOT to press 1 to talk to anyone, or to press 3 but to repeatedly press the # sign approx 5 to 7 times as this messes up the auto dialer and should get my number taken off the list for at least a little while. He also explained to me that it doesn't matter if you are on the national do not call list because people preforming this scam will not take the time to see if you are on the do not call list, which completely makes sense. I have not yet tried pressing # because they haven't called back yet, but I will keep posted if it works..hopefully it'll help everyone else. Also, look up phone busters in google for the number and file a complaint yourself...

Margaret, the national do not call list does not stop Americans from calling Canadian phones.  It stops Canadian telemarketers from calling Canadian homes.  The DNC list is useless.  This number has called me twice today.  I ignored it the first time, answered it about 20 minutes ago.  It was concerning my credit card.  I didn't know I owned a credit card, and if I did own a credit card it would be a CANADIAN one, not one from the US.  

I'm not pushing any numbers or the # key next time they call.  It can ring.

they call on good friday and at 9pm and during the day - recorded voice offers lower interest for creditcard. At the end they say that if I press 1 I get to talk to a person, if I press 3 I get removed from their calling list - only they don't, they still call nearly every day. Today I pressed 1, told the guy I wanted off his list - and got abused for that!!!

i signed up some time ago to the do not call list and what the hell good is it, these people stil call like 5 times a day every day

This number belongs to World Class Services. There direct line is 1-888-878-1014. Call them to get the calls stop and if they dont keep calling them 3 times a day until they stop. Tina gets annoyed when u call her alot in a day. I just dont get why she wont by my vacume lol.

They called my number twice today, and once yesterday.  Ontario, Canada. I'm on the do not call list.  I don't answer any call that says unknown, even if number revealed.  They are usually telemarketers outside Canada, and I have zero time for them and their scams.

They call my house every other day.  Want to lower interest rates on my credit cards to as low as 6.9%!!  This is your last chance! Oh really? Why call me 15 times a month then?  I have called back and pressed one to be removed from their list.....no matter.  Today I got the call and pressed 1 to lower interest rates and got a live person! He said, "Did you press 1 to lower your interest rates?"  and I proceeded to tell him what to do with his interest rate scam and he hung up on me!  Jerk!

Calling everyday. Not leaving Messages. There is no answer when the phone is picked up. Tried to call and the number was busy.

I have someone calling me every day named Michael from Card Services. I have put them on the do not call list and called them directly. They just hang up on me and call again the next day. Please help!! They are driving me nuts.

I got a really (and I mean REALLY) loud rape whistle.  I press "1" when they call me in canada to "reduce my credit card rates"... and the minute a "live person" answers I blow the whistle as loud as I can.   I hope to heck I blow the callers ear drum... if nothing else, maybe I'll irritate them as much as they irritate me!

They have been calling here in Ontario repeatedly for the last 6 months despite having hit the "2" key to be removed from the "list"  Tried calling the number back and all I get is hit 1 to be put on the do not call list...  Somehow I doubt that will do any good.  Tried talking to a live person as soon as I asked them to stop calling the guy just hung up on me.

They call either my home phone number or my fax number at least once everyday. IF I answer, I get an open line and no one talking. It occurred to me that when we answer and they don't talk, this is, in fact, a harrassing phone call. The phone company should respond to that and if not, they are actually an accessory to a crime.

Comes up as Virginia on caller ID - not sure why they're interested in making calls to Canada all the time, but they do call often. I've never answered. Paying $5/month for call display is the best money I ever spent!! =)

I am tired gettig call from them ,i juste got a call a t 10.25 am 4/20 so please try to stop them ,they are bothering old people that i know too they are old and wondering who is calling they dont know what to do wit that ,there should be a way you report them and punished them for the trouble they cause

These calls quit for a while and have started up again. Last week I pressed 3 to be taken off their list, only to be called again at the end of the week!! So for that call I pressed one and asked the person why they keep calling even though I have had asked NOT to be called, and they just hung up on me!! So it's the start of a new week and they called again!! Pressed 3 to be taken off the list....let's see if that ever happens!!

I got a call on Apr 20/09 from these people again. I'm in Canada. This time I pressed "1" to get to talk to a live voice. I kept him on the phone for about 15 minutes. I said their number has been plastered on the internet as a scam. He said, so what. I said I'm on the do not call list, he said, youre in Canada that doesnt apply to us in the US. I said I will report you to your telephone carrier, he said thats been tried before but we can always get around that. To sum up, he couldnt care less and they seemed to know all the tricks of the trade. He said he was an electrical contactor by trade and I asked him why he was working a phone, haha. I hope I wasted some of their time and money.... I sure had fun messing with them.

I live in Canada on the east cost..we receive approximately 3 calls per week from this # credit card services...I've pressed 1 to try get a live person the minute they answer and you say take me off your list..they hang up on you..if you try to recall the # 804-518-2490 you will get a recording saying if you want to be on the DNC list press 1 then the phone hangs up on you..you can press 1 all you want its fake..how do they know to take you off the list..?? they don't I've called and blocked my number on this end...they drive me nuts!!!! Call centers have to adhere to all DNC lists both US side and Canada side...why do these offshore idiots not have to adhere to the rules ????

A buddy just dropped off his old air horn...you know the type you hear at sports games...used on boats...etc.

Every damn time I get that call, press 1, wait to hear a voice on the other end...they'll get that horn.

This number calls me daily at home. "...from card holders services. There is currently no problem with your credit cards but I am calling to offer you interest rates as low as 6.5% on your current cards. Press 1 to speak to a representative or 3 to be removed from our call list."   I have been pressing 3 for months now...to no avail

I have been called repeatedly in Canada.  The caller is from Virginia.  They are supposedly offering reductions in credit card rates.  It is very unlikely that they can make this offer to Canadians from an American company.  There are several dozen posts on google relating to this phone number.  One post had a number for the FTC where you can complain.  I did so.  While making the complaint the FTC agent suggested that it is possible that this is an attempt at identity fraud.  After looking back at the posts on the net it seems quite likely that is what they are about.  Some people have said that the caller offers services relating to warranties and insurance, while with me they offer something totally different.  The caller is likely looking for credit card or bank information so that they can fleece you.  I suggest calling your local carrier's fraud line to complain.  The number for Telus is 1-866-493-3411.

Their pathetic human beings  They hang up on you and treat you like your in the wrong.
I don't know how these morons  get away with it. No respect for peoples privacy.
This should be a priority or the FCC. Getting people like this is what they are supposed to be doing. They certainly are not doing anything about it. they are still calling me after a year.
