I get the call more than 10 times already on my cell phone, almost every other day .
I don't bother to answer, but I have no clue why they still call if my number register to do not call list .

Me too. Been getting calls every Friday since June 3, 2011 and a few Wednesdays and Thursdays. Different times. Same number. Never leaves a message. I refuse to answer. Just got another today (July 1, 2011) at 2:59pm eastern.

Calls 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes all in one day, or spread out throughout the work week (never on the weekends), never answer, they never leave message,

Keep on gettin calls to my cell from 8045883156. I answered the first time and a recording came on about a $50.00 gift card from WalMart. I hung up but I am still getting calls even though I no longer answer them. No message is left.

Repeated calls telling me I can receive a free Walmart giftcard. They never list or mention what the name of their company is. I called back and was allowed to press 2 to be put on their own "Do Not Call" list.

I have a theory that people get annoying phone calls from non-toll-free numbers as a marketing ploy by companies like Intelius or other internet search companies, in order to tick people off enough to pay $5 or $10 (or more) to find out who or what is calling them. It usually is not very informative, because it's a fake number, but the money is spent and the marketing ploy worked. Ignoring it is the best revenge.
