I received two calls today and did not answer but called it back and it's the Special Olympics in Virginia.  No message left.  

I see the pests started up again!  They need to get a life!  It's not only SOI VA but also SOI MD.  The last call I got in MD I picked up the phone and yelled "Get a ------- life and hung up.  That was months ago.  If SOI VA calls while I'm at work, I'll tell them the same thing.  I don't give a rats who it is; they are unwanted and its a bout time they heard of "free speech".

Caller ID shows calls from this number everyday to include Sunday several times a day. No message is ever left. Wish whoever is calling would stop taking up space on my answering machine since the call is obviously not important enough to leave a message or state the reason for all the calls.

I keep getting called from them usually early morning or early evening.  I just got a brainstorm idea.  Since the calls are from area code 804 (the Richmond area) and we can't seem to stop them, try call forwarding to your state congressperson or senator's office or set up your phone when you see them on line to automatically forward the number to a government line.  Bet the calls will stop immediately.

They are based in Charlotte, NC.

I warned them that their next call will lead to a federal complaint. I suggest all those who get repeated calls from SOI do likewise and contact the FTC. Maybe we can stop SOI like we stopped "Rachel."

Whoever these jerks are they don't want to talk to me.  I'll give them the White House's private number so they can give them a real job.  It's not only SOI VA but I get SOI MD at home, so assume that they have to do with political polls of some type.  I'd say ignore them and they'll go away, but that don't work since there is no one to go away.  These are computer oriented calls sanctioned by your local telephone companies.  I've called Verizon and complained but they said there is nothing they can do.  WRONG!!!!!!!  They can cancel their phone numbers but that means less money in their pockets since they don't get these calls.  Find out who runs the telephone companies and start calling them every hour or so just to say your bored and wanted to talk to someone.

Rcvd multiple calls from this # within the same minute - however my online phone log shows a second number coming across at the same time 804-214-4024. What gives? No message ever left.

This company has been calling me 2 to 3 times a day for the past few months.  They call as late as 9 PM.  I retire very early some nights and this is most annoying.  I'll be waiting for important calls from doctor etc and I have to put up with these unsolicited calls.
