Is it odd that I start getting these calls after a "finding" in a mammogram?  Coincidence?

Looks like another charity scam that regularly violates the DNC list as they search for the next sucker.

These a**-wads called again after calling last week.  These scammers don't care how many people they annoy while searching for the next sucker.

Breast Cancer donation sought. When told currently unemployed and have no funds to donate, and that I support BC programs throughout the year. Asked again to donate, and when told to give me a job so I could donate, I was laughed at. Waiting for the next time they call.  To bad the Do Not Call program is not enforced. This would be a good scammer to get off the phone lines.

Called but left no message.  My number is on the worthless DNC list and they called anyway.  Probably a charity scam.

I probably have the same call blocking machine you have. You will need to block each individual number they call from; hopefully, they don't have a lot of numbers!

We have just received our 11th call from this number, 804-632-8616 and came here to 800notes for more information.  When we started getting the first of these many calls in May 2013, I found on other sites that it was a scam.  I don't know what else to do besides ignore these calls, which we have done.  We're getting way too many of these calls, including other fake cancer charity calls from different numbers.  The service provider for this particular number is Level 3 Communications and the number is out of Bowling Green, VA.  I agree with you 100% about putting a stop to all these calls for those of us who wish not to be bothered.  My husband is currently out of work and was on a phone interview with a potential employer when this latest call from BREAST CANCER 804-632-8616 came in and I am livid.  After reading this post, I looked up this Reynolds Family and am attaching the links to articles about their cancer charity scam to back up what you said.  HOW SICK!!!  There IS a place in hell for sick, greedy people like this.  To use a charity such as breast cancer and prey on unknowing people who gladly open their wallets thinking they are helping a worthy cause is just sick.  Reynolds family...karma!!!

Next they'll be asking for money for men with prostate cancer. Oh wait! That wouldn't be politically correct, as we men are considered not needy and able to take care of ourselves. Anyway, I blocked this number months ago, but they discovered a way to call me anyway. I can only block 10-digit numbers. Unfortunately, I am in the 804 area code, and they found out they can call me without using an area code. What to do??

These rat turds called at 8:55 AM this morning when I was home sick!!  However, I have my ringer turned down very low and slept through it; good thing.  I never answer crap calls like this anyway.

I have just about had it with this 806-632-8616.  This should be a criminal act as many times as they call and continue to call....what can be done about this crap.  Nothing-???

They want nothing but money,allegedly for Breast Cancer.Could be a ScamScum in disguise.Feel free to just say No.

Called last night, I told her I was financially strapped.  She said OK and hung up.  Bicycle.

Get a loud whistle, when this number calls, blow into the phone as loud as it will go.  That gets rid of them.

Got a call from this number (did not answer) at nearly 9pm on a Saturday night -- these scammers/spam callers really know how to burn the midnight oil.  Is there anyone left in the USA who actually still answers calls from unknown/unrecognized numbers like this??

When I answered this call for a few weeks from 804-632-8616  the lady would say this organization is asking for money for a breast cancer group. I asked that she not call again and to please remove my number from her call list. My phone number is an unpublished number and I pay over $2 a month for this.  I still am receiving these calls. I now just let all call goes to voice messaging.

Machine: May I speak to the Lady of the house?
Me: May I ask who is calling?
Machine: "Hold on please"
Machine: May I speak to the man of the ... machine hangs up.

I'm on the do not call list so it must be a non-profit. Sounds like a scam though

This number keeps calling, I never answer, leave no message, has called as late as 8:55pm.  What a bunch of crooks

Call me ever few months.  I no longer answer the phone for any number I do not know.
Beleive it or not I know how to make a donation for a cause if I want to.  No
organization worth its wieght would ask someone to give over the phone.
Never give your name or an personal info. over the phone.  They called you, you
did not call them.

Called me today for first time.  One of many such calls I have been receiving.  Stopped answering all calls from unfamiliar numbers a couple of months ago.

CID says Breast Cancer Society. May be legit, maybe not. There's no way to tell any more. I refuse to answer this kind of call these days.

Besides, cancer is such a complicated disease with so many possible causes and so many people are working on it (how many millions spent on research in the last 50 years?) that no one should feel guilt tripped into giving to a questionable outfit.

Sadly, they ask for me by my nickname only known by close friends and family and keep saying they will put me on the do not call list but, of course, do not.  The person told me they get their numbers from a middle man.  I started getting these calls after my sister had breast cancer and put my name and unlisted, unpublished number on all her forms as a contact.  I don't know how else they know to ask for me by that name and they are clearly a scam.  Wanted, this time, to send me a pledge card and have me put something in an envelope to send them to help...breast cancer..blah, blah.

Rec'd call at 8:58 AM!, on 8/1, with caller ID "Breast Cancer."  Did not answer; left no voicemail msg.
