I am so annoyed and very angry at  this people, they call my work all day long we unplugged
the phone line for hours just to stop it, but as soon as you plug it in here they come.. pls.  help me
on how did you end these harrassing phone calls from India I think! I will try to make a police report, but
what is is going to do?

CRIME ALERT..... Same thing happened to me today ...some accented man and woman called said they were from financial crime investagation bureau and told me they represent their client and I have 3 federal charges and a lawsuit..Told me that if I didnt pay I was going to be arrested.....Freaked me out until I read this website....the number they have been calling from is 818 -4955168....they had my name and social security number and address ...has this call from this number anybody reconize ??????the company was called financial crime investigation bureau and cash net usa

Someone called me today with the same message,saying if I didn't send them the 498.22 today,That I would be in 25mins,they also called my job on yesterday 10/13/11 with the same message

I got a call from the 805-334-6184 at my job telling me that my windows computer has a undetectable virus taking over and it will stop working and never work again unless I do what he says, I told him that we have someone that does that, thus thanks but no thanks, I figured that if he had my work number and cell phone he must have been the person hacking my computer.   The next morning I recieved a call to my cell phone from the same number, a voice message was left stating that I or my attorney needs to contact him ASAP it is time sensitive and if I do not call back he feels sorry for me and all he can do is wish me luck.  I mean he must have forgot the initial scam was to get me to give him access to my computer because if he thinks I did not make it a point to write down the number he called from in the first place, he has taken 1 to many hits off the hooka.  I have had money stolen from my account, my email was hacked into and now I am getting these calls. I made the mistake of filling out a loan application online a month or so ago with a local company that I believed to be legit based on the fact that  Iknow people who have had loans from said company and ever since then I get phone calls, text messages, and an overabundance of emails, I even had one of the SOB's take money from my account causing it to overdraw the account.  I WILL NEVER BUY OR FILL OUT ANYTHING ONLINE AGAIN!!!!

OMG I TO GOT THIS CALL SAYING THE SAME AND ENDING HTE MESSAGE WITH GOD BLESS . IM 20 AND THEY HAVE BEEN SCARING FOR THE PAST MONTH. I AM SO GLAD I HAVE FOUND THIS WEBSITE I AM SO RELEAVE . THEY WAS STAEING IF I DIDNT CALL THEM OR IF I DIDNT HAVE MY LAWYER CALL THEM I WAS GOING TO HAVE 3 WARRENTS OUT FOR MY ARESST . WHEN I ASK THEM FOR AN ADRESS THEY HUNG UP ON AND THEN I CALLED BACK TO TALK TO MANNAGER OR SOMEONE ABOUT THE HARASSING ME THEY HUNG UP ON ME AND EVERYTIME ID CALL THEM BACK THEY WOULD PICK UP THE PHONE AND HANG UP .

i just got a call from my work phone right now from a Dawn McCoy (805-334-6184) saying the same exact thing. I was freaking out at first but after reading all of the other comments now I'm pissed! I will be reporting this to the police and the FBI!

everyday these people call saying they are some sort of police  and i have a warrant if i dont call back in 30 minutes they will arrest me

I have been getting this calls to.  From 805-334-6184.  Funny thing is they don't come to my home phone.  Only my cell and than my office a week later.  Not hard to find since work for navy.  Pissing me off.  When I called back got no answer.  Saved my message  just in case I need to.  Reporting so can hopefully trace or at least monitor the number.

Rcv'd call from this number from a "John McCoy" at "The Federal Financial Investigating Burearu"  stating that I was going to be arrested tomorrow at my place of employment and told my supervisor the same thing after calling her a liar. Was also transferred to a "Leo Fernandes" stating that he is the head of superior code office for Los Angeles, CA he proceeded to tell me all my personal information ie full ssn, email, address and place of employment. and then read a supposed affidaviat from the supposed Federal student loan office that is having them serve the warrant and that i am going to spend up to 6 months in jail and pay over 8000.00. When i got home I called the "suppose office and verified that all is ok and that they have never hear of such absurdness and i am in good standing. I then reported to the FBI. politely called the 805-334-6184 and told them that i contacted the FBI and was promptly hung up on...will be reporting to the police too for the threatening voice messege and conversation to myself and my supervisor. Pls if you get calls from these people you need to report it to the FBI there is a form on line to fill out.

When I spoke with the FBI agent, he said the local police department is who should be contacted.So, "Yes" you should call the police. Especially, if they threaten you or anyone you know. The FBI is investigating my complaint, because I called them. I figured, if that heavy accented guy said I have arrest warrants with the FBI, then I should call them and find out if it is true. DO NOT call the 805 number back.

I got a call from that number this morning. The message I received went like this: "This message is intended for Carol Kitahara, my name is John, John McCoy. You have three criminal complaints against you we will file a warrant for your arrest. This material is time sensitive so please call back as soon as possible. God bless you." I called it and asked to speak to John McCoy (the person that left the message). He wouldn't let me speak to him, and just said he is the supervisor. Both men had heavy accents and spoke slowly as to try and cover up their accents. It didn't work. I asked him where he is calling from, and with a slight hesitation he then aswered, "Payday Loan." I didn't give him ANY information. He then proceed to tell me that he doesn't like my voice. I told him I don't like his accent, and he immediately said I was a scam then hung up on me. When I called back, it was the same guy. I told him that it's very unprofessional of a supervisor to hang up. At this point, I demanded to speak with HIS supervisor. He wanted to put me on hold and I told him, "NO !" He hung up on me. The last time I called back (which was probably the third time), He told me that my children are going to DIE TODAY. I called the local FBI and filed a complaint. I didn't realize it until I was explaining this to the FBI agent, that it is a SCAM !!!


Some warning flags to listen and "watch" out for:

1: HEAVY ACCENTS
2: God bless at the end of a message or when they are speaking to you. Or, anything "God" related.
3: Hanging up on you.
4: THREATS of ANY kind. Especially, harm to your family.
5: And, anything that sounds out-of-the-ordinary.


My mistake was that I had just woke up, and listened to the message. So, with a foggy head, I reacted and then overreacted without listening to the signs. I guess he thought that if he threatened my family that I will cooperate.

Received a call from a Michael Rivera, from this number (805-334-6184) claiming he was from the Financial Crime Investigation Bureau.  He said I have 3 warrants under my name and social security number, then confirmed the last four digits of my SS.  He asked me if i was aware of these warrants, I said no.  He told me to call 805-334-6184 (the same number he called me from) to speak to the Federal Attorney to learn more about it.  I asked him where he is calling from and he stated San Diego.  

It is a scam.  They want you to call back and they will ask you to confirm your name and complete social security number to release the information regarding your warrants.  This is an identity theft scam!

Got a call from them 9-30-11. They called my # looking for my mom. Said she had 3 arrest warrants out if we did not pay them. They said they were from a Los Angeles investigation bureau but the 805 area code is not L.A. Also for being a "government agency" they had very thick Indian accents. Also ended the call with GOD BLESS?

I recieved a call from this man to......Idk what I should do.....should I call the police or what this males me really nervous.

09-27-29011@ 2:11 pm-Wednesday-Received a phone call from this phone number and he requested my name and is this Dan Davis I have a complaint from three people and I am with Criminal Investigation, and provided me with my last four digits of my Social Security Number and mentioned something of a $200,000 fine and I mentioned I don't know who you are and I did not reveal myself further.  It was a man with an Indian accent.  I hung up on him.  My concern is my last four digits of the SS# was correct.

I recieved 2 calls from 805-334-6184.. The man left a very rude message and told me I would be arrested if  I or my attorney did not return the call...
I was scammed 2 years ago and every since then I get calls.. I even changed phone services and
they still manage to call my new no.. I don;t get it-- what is the law doing about these scammers?
