I have gotten 4 calls today from this number.  I didn't answer the first time but I did the second time and it was a women who siad that I had requested information about schools, I hung up on her because I never requested any infor, I'm already enrolled in school.  Then about 5 hours later I got 2 calls in a row from the same number.

Ward Media is the primary provider of cell phone numbers to many shady companies. It is headquartered in New York.  It is headed by Phil Friedman, an russian jew, who has no regard to invasion of privacy.  I have received multiple unsolicited calls like the above, which really amounts to harrassment and not telemarketing.  Ward Media publishes two phone numbers for contact:  1-800-247-0684 and (212)268-8462.  You may want to let them know that their tactics are shoddy at best.  I suggest those in NY receiving calls file a formal protest with both Verizon and the Direct Marketing Association.  Those of you who may be lawyers are urged to send the company a letter of agreement informing them that your acceptance of receiving their calls incurs a cost of $100 per call.  Courts cases have upheld this type of suit with punitive damages awarded.

Called twice from New York then once from California.  Claimed that a request for college information was made online and they were responding to that request.  No such request was ever made!  They are rude and annoying.  They hang up as soon as you question them.

This number is from Devry School & they've been calling me numerous times to see if I'm interesting in furthering my education. I called them back and left my number so they could remove me from their calling list.

I have been receiving the phone calls from the same number 805-567-0153 for 1 week, I picked it up the first times a week ago and told the guy i wasn't interested as soon i realized he was trying to marketing some kind of service. They still try to call me every day along with numerous withheld number calls and when i did pick up one of the withheld number, they hang up. What kind of marketing strategy is it? Harassing business? Please let me know if any of the method you did works to stop this ridiculous phone calls that lead no where.

It started yesterday...I'm so sick and tired of this..."they" keep calling over and over.  I've asked my name to be removed and still nothing! That is when I decided to Google and now here I am...FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!

this started for me yesterday, too. they ask for a different name and I told them they had the wrong number.  didn't stop, though.  what I've done was save the number on my phone and assigned NO RING to them.  If I knew how to block them I would.

I got a call today- they voice mail left that said nothing, just background noise. This is annoying.

yeah, i've gotten some calls from this number as well as 954-623-7168 and 410-774-8401.  they all seem to be for online classes or something like that.  not very happy about this situation, can't think of where they might have gotten my information from (haven't done any "win a free psp" things, etc.)

Called my in-laws looking for me to talk to me about education, etc.  I wasn't there so they said they would just contact me through email.  I'd like to see that happen.

I've been getting the same calls. They finally said something today. They asked me if Lesha was there and I was like yeah. Then, he said I wanted some info on some schools (what in the world) and when I asked what kind of schools, he hung up!

I got the same call, from the same number.  It has to do with people selling your phone number to other places.  This one in particular is a school.  Just tell them you're not interested, and to take you off of their list.

I filled out that same Revlon contest to get a free lip gloss. Now I get a call from 805-567-0153, and I did not fill anything out for education inquiries. Totally a scam. I hope they stop calling. I put my number on the do not call list.

I am glad about not picking up the phone, but the number of times that they call is getting annoying. I did a survey online under Publishers Clearing House and declined the offer about college opportunities, but they still call?

I noticed this # on the caller ID and thought it was worth checking out. Never left a voice mail. Glad I checked it out. Darn tela-marketer types..

Today received a call from 805-567-0153.  They left a message that I had recently requested information on education opportunities.  This is a lie.  I never give out my phone number.  Some source is selling phone number to telemarketers.  THey are the scum of the earth.

we have been getting weird calls from this number, girls laughing, saying they are on "degree street", and that we requested information on schools(we did'nt).
we recently rented a computer from AARON"S RENT TO OWN" and found out they are putting tracking cookies, spyware, on anything you look at on EBAY and YAHOO home pages.
we figure that this is where all these weird calls are comming from the last few weeks,this AARON"S RENT TO OWN thing should be illegal, they are getting paid to put this crap in computers so your personal info is on the internet for anyone to get!!!
they don't tell you it is in the computers when you sign a lease, but do a really good scan on the cookies in the computer ,like with WEBROOTSPYSWEEPER"
and it comes up with 7 items with AARON's name on them.(also you can't clear out the cookies, aaron's has that blocked)
it really is an invasion into your privacy!

These people called me 2 times in one day I called back  805 456 1721 and was prompted to join the Do not call list. I also left a message threatening legal action.

they called seven times today and im annoyed

They've called a few times and now I'm glad I never picked up. They've called atleast three times this week and it's starting to get old. I want to know why they're calling me and who they are!

Received a call and someone asked me if I would have a drink with him. Then he hung up.

I received atleat 3 calls today on my cell phone from this number. Not knowing the number I did not answer. I then called the number back from my office phone. A recorder answered informing me this is a telemaking company & if I did not wish to recieve any more calls to please say so and include my number, so I did. We will see if it works.
