was sent a txt message about an item i had for sale on gumtree asking if still available and for details of the item and final price and to reply to it via an email address they supplied ?? U would know that from looking at the ad...turns out it was from an +1805 number in california usa. contacted gumtree and they said its attempted fraud. if i replied to there email from my email then my acc would have been hacked :( lucky i didnt and only sent a txt message saying yes still available...hope this helps anyone else :)
