I have been missing calls from this number all week. He finally left me a voice mail, so I called him back. He asked if my husband was there. I said no, and he insisted on calling back. I tried explaining that it wouldn't matter anyway, it's not like we can both be on the phone at the same time. He asked me why I wasn't excited, and I said I just wanted to know details. He said all that would be emailed to me. I forgot to mention that he said I was chosen out of thousands of people.
I was trying to get more info, but every time I asked, he explained that "he's giving me a free vacation, not sending me to prison." it was getting old, and I didn't like being talked to in that tone. I told him that I felt he was being rude, then he yelled "Ok, so now I have an attitude?!?!" I hung up. I would not trust this.

I received a call from this guy after I had filled out a form for a raffle at a NASCAR race. He requested to speak with my spouse and I together. He rambled on about my winning 4 vacations (A $4400 value) for four people each. I could take these vacations anytime within 18 months but needed to give 60 day notice prior to any vacations that would fall on a major holiday. He then said that if I wasn't able to take all four in the next 18 months, I could get a 4 year extension.

I let him rant on about how great of a value it was and yada yada. Obviously my spouse and I were very skeptical, so we weren't really talking much. The guy said, "geeze, you guys must be in shock, because usually people are hollering and screaming because they won!" My spouse told him that we were just waiting for the catch... the guy acted baffled and said there wasn't a catch.

I about fell over when he asked what kind of credit/debit card I would be using for the $398 initial and only cost. I laughed at him and he got pissed. I told him that he was absolutely CRAZY and there wasn't a chance in hell that I would give out that information to someone on the phone, especially since I hadn't been able to review anything from the company (mailed information, testimonials, emailed information). He asked me if I thought it was a "scam" and I told him absolutely. He said, "Ma'am, what do you think is goind to happen? Do you think that I am going to take your numbers with me and buy dinner for the office? (laughs) you know, we have been the #1 Travel Agency with Nascar for the past 10 years, we are not scammers. And if this was a scam, did you know that you can report it by calling the number on the back of your card? It shows on our website that we are accredited through the federal (something or other) company and have been in good standings with them since we started." When I asked to view the website, he said that it is a protected website. Then I told him that I would review the printed and emailed material and contact them back to "claim my prize"...

He went on to tell me that "YOU were chosen out of 6000 people. Once its gone, it's gone - we cannot promise these packages." He got huffy with me when I said, "Well, sir, then really I didn't win anything did I?"

DON'T FALL FOR IT!

Just got a voicemail from Mike.  Called back and got George Barber's voicemail.  Said I won a trip to Florida and said they have been trying to get in touch with me for a while, which let's be honest it's 2012 and everybody sees missed calls and gets voicemails and I have zero from them.  It smells scammy to me!

I got a call from this number too 805-855-0287.  From a man, spoke very fast and a bit rude. He said I signed up at a recent show, I attended a couple in the past 2 months so it could have been.  He went on to say I won a trip to Florida and needed to know if my hubby was with me at the time of the call.  I said No, he then quickly said, well i'll call later and CLICK.  My sister received a call from this same number a week before with the same sense of urgency in the man's voice and he also said her hubby would need to be there to discuss the trip she won.  He never called back!!

Got a call from that number. they had a card that i filled out at an outdoors show and they said i won a free 8 day 7 night vacation for 4 people plus 2 bonus vacations of my choice if i paid them 400 dollars over the phone with a credit card that instant. argued with the guy saying that i want paperwork but no go. sounded like a one man scam company. the business is touring america the voice mail at the number says it is for George Barber of touring america but when someone does answer they say their name is mike.
