Hey everyone. I only started getting this call on the 8th of March....I also have been applying for jobs and it scares me ppl are getting my number that way :( on a different site they said many had blackberries ( I own one myself) but i used to work for att and verizon......IT wise they couldnt do that as well as legally. I thought it was a friend of mine who went to VA for the weekend to see a band named PHISH.....bc he had told me he would call me from an 806 number. I have never picked up the phone but they call VERY early....today I got a call at 7 am eastern . ( CT ) We should all send this Mike Torres guy those self posted things in the magazines so he can eat all the crap he has said or unsaid on the phone..... lol

this number called on 3/10/09 in the morning hours while i was sleeping. didnt answer, i looked the number up on here and people say its about a car warranty. i remember getting calls from this number in the past about the same thing.

JUST CALLED MY CELL I PRESSED 2 TO TAKE ME OFF THEIR RECORDS. WE WILL SEE!

Got a call earlier this morning and called it back and it was busy. Kinda glad i missed the call!

got the call, about the warranty on my car was about to expire which was funny as my car would be 17 years old, if I hadn't bought it used to begin with and sold it over 2 years ago and haven't replaced it.

the thing to know is where are they getting our cell phone numbers from..

and why the cell phone companies dont let you block numbers.

yeah, same missed call this morning... Now i have an 802 area code but live in AZ.  I have been applying for jobs for the past couple weeks and have signed up numerous sites. i'm wondering if this person gets the phone number off of these job sites somehow. Are the most of you that are reporting from the AZ area? just curious.

Missed call and left no voicemail...And when called back said number was disconnected

I got a call from this number at 10:44 this morning and they hung up,i didnt try to call back

806-785-6596 called me Monday 3/9/09 @ 7:44 pm on my cell phone. I called back and there was a fast busy signal

I think they just dial numbers randomly. I live in GA and never give my cell phone number out. I also almost never use my cell phone.

I got a call from the same number and called it back and it had been disconnected... oh well.

I got one today during my math class.... I called back and it says it's been disconnected.... Weird.. ?

Ugh this number called me too! I was in class.. Didn't answer.. I was going to call back but decided to look up the number first. Found this site. Thanks everyone this information helped me out a lot :)

I get these calls a couple times a week just an automated service for your auto warrenty weather or not you have it or not just ignore it

got a call from them once on my cell phone during school. i haven't bothered to call them back.

someone needs to visit these places and burn them down.

P.O.'d this is apparently a scam. I work for an elderly woman and she has received two calls, one from this number, and one from another number. When i looked up the first number it was a woman in chicago and i knew the woman i worked for knew no one in chicago so i dug a little deeper and found out that whoever this is doing this, it is a scam. they somehow run their phone lines through an innocent person's line so that it appears that the person is the one calling instead of the company that is scamming! that is why when you call back it is disconnected or says it is not a valid number because they run their line through whoever's number they find in the phone book and decide to target that day! so be careful with what you tell these people when they call and dont be mad at the owner of the phone number because they never know that it is ran through their line and they have nothing to do with it! just thought i'd share!

I recently got a call from this number...did a reverse lookup on it and it says it is registered to someone named "Mike Torres" in Lubbock, Texas. Also, it seems as though a lot of people have gotten calls from this number, it has been looked up 56 times.

I received this call twice, second time I didn't answer because of the area code was unknown to me, so I decided to track the phone on the web.

missed a call from this number, called back and it was disconnected

I got the same call, and the number was disconnected as well! Thats crazy!

I answered and it was something about the warranty on my car.. Which is 12 years old.  I'm pretty sure its a telemarketer, its the second time they have called me.

I got a call from that number on Monday 3/9/09 at 7:35pm EST didn't answer or left a message.

Called to tell that this was the last notice on my new vehical warrenty.

They seem to call me once a week. It's an automated message about a vehicle warranty. Obviously BS. So annoying.

I received a call from that number at 9:37am; not a valid number. Would not recommend calling them back.

This dude is listed at that number, maybe he'd like some mail or text messages or flowers or pizzas.  A-hole.
