Just had the same thing happen to me about an accessory to a jeep. I'm in ND and was like okay well I called paypals and they said nothing had been creditied. So I told the man I called them and he got offended. Sorry sir, I'm not doing this to piss you off or call you out but I'm doing this to protect myself. And now nothing. The money would have been nice but I'm not that dumb. People like this bug me and make everyone else look bad.

Got a SMS from this number re my vehicle for sale.
Asks if car for sale & final asking price (can't this person read?).
Says price is OK, ...
says from TX (long journey), can't make it and freight company will pick up car after I receive total money .. then asks if can have my trust!
Replied NO ... to take game elsewhere.

Got the same message. He's from Texas and a petrolium engineer who is out on a rig and can't get to us in Utah. Wants to buy our vehicle. He gave us the same text word for word " I am okay with the condition, I can now proceed with the payment now, buy my mode of payment will be via PayPal, so get back to me with your name and your paypal email address, to proceed with the payment, I have make arrangement with the shipping company they will take care of everything after the payment has been made." No dice. If you are a petrolium engineer your starting salary is over 100K. Why would you want a cheap vehicle under 5K? Definitely fishy. I called paypal and was told this is a straight up scam. Thank you this site for posting this! If it sounds too good to be true...

Just got a message from this guy about my car (8068537861). He's from texas and he's really old and can't come see it himself. He asked some genuine questions. . . and then he said " I am okay with the condition, I can now proceed with the payment now, buy my mode of payment will be via PayPal, so get back to me with your name and your paypal email address, to proceed with the payment, I have make arrangement with the shipping company they will take care of everything after the payment has been made."

Just got a message from this guy about my boat. Wanted me to send him Money through Western Union to ship. Oh btw, he is deaf so get can only use text. Not falling for it Deaf Thief.
