Approx 8pm. I saw the # on my caller identification, so did not answer. Got a voicemail. It was maybe 15-20 seconds, sounded like the caller was typing, with maybe a t.v. playing in the background. Then sounded like the caller (a male) sighed and said under his breath & barely audible "I dunno what this is." Then hung up. Odd.

I have got a call from this number every night for the last 4 nights.  Interesting number but not going to answer it.  And with the beginning of the political season, I would expect I will be getting a lot more of odd calls.  Thank goodness for caller ID

who is the mystery caller from (808) 000-0000 ever couple of hours? After reading other comments about this number it makes me suspicious that someone is scamming or spamming. Stop it please whoever you are!

I got a call from (808) 000-0000 yesterday about 8:20pm and i didin't bother to answer since i don't usually pick-up calls from unknown number.

Just a call from (808) 000-0000. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.  Of course no message was left.  I just added it to my address book along with the other telemarketing/marketing survey numbers under a "special" name and ringtone so when they call again, I know not to answer without having to look at my phone.

Did not answer du to the weird number. I blocked my ID and called the number and got a "nuber could not be dialed" message.

I got a call from them on Monday...picked it up out of curiosity only to find it was a survey too.  Only my call was on the GMO stuff. It was a Hawaii lady and when I told her I didn't know enough to comment she said "Ok" and went on to the next question. Half way through the call I said I had to go (which was true) and she kept trying to squeeze in another question. Then when I got firm and said I REALLY had to go...she then said "I'll call you back tomorrow, when would be a good time?" She was a little too pushy for my taste and since then I have not picked up another call and so far that number has been calling my phone both on Tuesday and Wednesday. I don't want to sound too paranoid but I wasn't comfortable when she tried keeping me on the phone...like she needed enough time to get some kind of information from me or something. Who knows these days.

Calls late at night over and over, no message????? Very bothersome!

Hi I had the same number calling me as well. It called day, evening and night. But I would never answer because I didn't know the number. I usually don't answer if I don't know it. I became curious about the number and I asked my other half if I should answer the next time the number appears or call the number back. He told me to google the number. So I did and I came across your posting of the same number problem. You said it was a lady with hawaii resident survey and that you was wonder what it was about. We'll first I want to tell you thank you for posting this awareness post. Without this I wouldn't know whom is calling. But know I believe I know what it is. All it is is a survey about fishing in hawaii. Like how many time you go fishing or diving. How many you would catch. The types of fishes. How many people in your family house hold go fishing. When was the last time you went fishing. Etc etc etc.  so that's all it is. Thanks again. Have a nice day.

Got a call today from this number and being who I am, I don't answer if I know who it is. Well, there was no voice mail and I am curious who it is. Odd though that the number is so easily to remember.

Got a call from this twice within a month... Didn't answer because it looked really wierd and I'm paranoid like that.  Odd number, doesn't seem real.

Received call from this number but I didn't answer -- I don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.  No voicemail message left to identify who this was.

They called me, ignored it, left me a voicemail saying that a job hiring company was calling to ask about my information.

I received a call from 808 000-0000 no one talked

Received a phone call from this number around 9:35 EST.
I refused to answer it due to me being cynical and paranoid about everything suspicious.

Got a call from this number and would like to know who that was.  No message.  Hope someone can identify them.  I would like that number because it's easy to memorize.

It made me wonder what kind of number this was.  I usually don't answer numbers I don't know but I was curious.  I answered and a local lady said hello her name and then why she was calling.  She said it was for a survey for Hawai'i residents.  I said I'm sorry but I don't live in Hawai'i.  So she apologized and said "Mahalo".  I'm still curious what the survey was....

I answered and there was no reply.

so i recieved this phone call last night from this number and scary enough, i actually spoke with a female...
