Hello everyone, this company uses a caller ID spoof and this is the second time in three days that they called.  They have used 605-221-2284, 250-860-7079.  If they can lower my credit card rates to 4% then why would they be calling me-let's all use common sense.  Your CC company does not want you to lower your rates so its not them calling.  And unless they are going to offer you a check to pay off your debt, then they should figure out a proper way to try and cheat you.  Also please add to the list of number that they are using, since if you call any of their number back it seems to be a non-working number.

They keep calling and when I press 1 to talk to someone they hang up when I complain.  Now when I press one and they answer I scream or blow a horn.  How do I get these people to stop calling?  I am on the do not call list but they still call.

These people have been calling both my home number and cell number for almost 6 months.  Same deal. Reducing your card interest rates. They claim to represent all credit card companies, Amex, Visa, MasterCard etc. when you press them for details of affliction th hang up. Once I asked for a call back number for confirmation. They gave me obe 877 number which tirned out to be some Asian porno line with a woman moaning heavily. Jeez. Some firm. Complaints to FCC as I'm on the DNC list had no response/action.  Even pressing to not be called again is ignored. They keep calling. This has to be a criminal operation.

This company calls every day-sometimes twice daily. I work nights and try to sleep days. I don't turn off my phone because I have a child in school and need to be reached in an emergency. When I hung on the line to complain, I got an insolent jack*** named Roland who hung up on me when I told him to take me off robodial. This is an unpublished, unlisted cellphone, but they get me anyway.

Some credit card reduction crap. Told her I wanted to know how they had my number since I was on the 'do not call' list' and she hung up on me. I searched the number and it comes up as a Virgin Mobile number so I reported it to them as it is no different as spam emails and told them I would hold them responsible if they fail to do something about it.

I received a call from this company on my cell phone. I asked them what card this was about and was told that this was a deal direct with Visa and Mastercard and they work to bring your interest rate down to a lower fixed rate. She then asked me if I carry a balance or if I pay off my bill each month. When I told her that I pay it off, she said "ok, so you're not going to be interested in our service. We'll give you a call back in 6 months." and ended the call.

After reading the comments above, I'm glad I didn't give her any info at all.

Received a call from this number and the "Mastercard / Visa" rep stated they could reduce my credit card rate. One problem for them, they needed my cell#, credit card #, expiration date, and balance information. You would think "Visa / Mastercard " would have that information.

I did a reverse look up and the number is for a cell phone in Hawaii. Watch out people, there are sharks everywhere, especially in Hawaii, apparently.

If you have entered any sweepstakes recently or second chance lottery drawings where you can enter your non-winning ticket and you gave your house phone or cell phone number as a contact,  they may be selling your  info to telemarketers who in return call you and try to get you to buy something. Note this, especially if you have an unlisted number that is not listed in the phone book or a cell phone number. Think back to if you've entered any sweepstakes. Make a note of when and where you've entered sweepstakes, even second chance lottery drawings and contact them to see if they share your information with telemarkters. Just a suggestion. This may be the way they're getting your phone numbers even work phone numbers.

I just received a call from this number and found your site.  I had a hunch that it was a scam.  The message wasn't addressed to me and did say anything about which Visa account.  Clear indication of possible fraud!!!

Stay away from this kind of caller.

It was the same credit card scam as described in the other comments. A recording asking me to press 1 if I wanted to lower my interest rates below the 10% I had. I told him I didn't have any rates over 10% and then I was hung up on.

I always have messages from these people when I get home from work.  The messages are about reducing the rate on my credit cards.  Today, April 28th, I was home when they called and said that they could reduce the rate on my Visa and Mastercard.  The woman said that she was from Card Services and worked for Visa and Mastercard and that they would contact the banks my cards were issued from to get lower rates for me.  She said that this was a promotion of Visa to get rates lowered for qualified cardholders.  She then asked for information on my cards and transfered me to a man, who the woman said was a financial advisor.  She said that they had my information because their company processed all credit card payments and knew that I paid on time.  The man was argumentative when I asked him for information.  He gave me the website: creditcardservices.org to checkout.  It came up and then immediately went to another site.  The man became annoyed when I said this and asked for more information.  He wanted $29.95 as an ACH debit from my account to send me a form to complete and return to them to send to my credit card companies to get my rate lowered.  When I kept asking questions, he hung up after saying I obviously was declining their services.  Note:  When she called back the name and number showing were mine.

Rec'd computer message at my work phone from "Rachel with Card Services" stating this was my last notice to reduce my credit card interest rate & to press 1 to continue or 2 to discontinue recvg notifications; (This is the 3rd msg in the last 3weeks) ph# was 808-250-7460; so I pressed 1 for a change;  As soon as I asked who they were trying to reach, the lady hung up on me;  If you call the number, there's a recorded message;  808-250-7460 is a CELL Phone associated with Wailuku, HI -- Now what reputable business associated with VISA and Mastercard would be calling from a cell phone?  Now, you tell me this isn't a scam; then prove it to me.  Thanks for listening

The same thing happened to me.  I got a call on my work phone from the number 808-250-7460 and answered and it was a recording saying that they were from card member services and if I was interested in lowering my rate press "1" and to consider this my final reminder/decline to press "2".  So I pressed 1 out of curiosity - since a) they don't give much info and b) how did they get my work # - and when the woman came on the line she said "did you press 1 to lower your card rates?" and I said yes, but I wanted to know what card this was in reference to - and she hung up.  Total scam.

Got a call at work :  Department of State/Diplomatic Telecommuncations from the number 808-250-7460; it was recording saying card member services was calling to see if I was interested in lowering my credit card rate; instructed me to press "1" and to consider this my final reminder/decline to press "2"; I pressed "2" out of curiosity - Female answered adn identified herself as "Rachel" adn asked "did you press 2 to lower your card rates?" - disconnected as soon as I asked what card they were referring to and hwo they got my number. Funny thing is they never referred to me by name and never identified a card. Funnier still; when I rediated the number with "800" area code I reached AMEX. Draw your own conclusions., just be careful.

Got an automated message from this number that was worded to sound as if it were one of my card accounts. They said my "eligibility" to lower my interest rate would expire soon and instructed me to press one to find out more. So I decided I would see what their deal was. The phone rang for a long time, but eventually a man answered... this what was said:

Them: silence
Me: Hello?
Them: Hello?
Me: You called me...
Them: Oh... <upbeat spiel about how my Visa account interest rate would be lowered and they were going to transfer me>
Me: Which one?
T: Your Visa account.
M: That is pretty generic, which one?
T: <spiel about this wonderful deal being through Visa, not my cardholders>
M: Ok...
T: Let me ask you three questions.
M: Ok.
T: Would you say lowering your interest rate would be beneficial?
M: Of course.
T: How much would you say your current credit card debt is?
M: Zero. (really, I just paid them off)

Today I received a very disturbing call from this company "Card Services". We frequently receive calls from this company and realizing that they are not a legitimate company have never given them any information.  I have asked them on numerous occasions to stop calling my home #.  I waited for a customer service rep to ask again for them to stop.  Today when I asked for his name, the name of the company I was told, This is William from Credit Services"  he proceeded with his pitch - I interrupted him and told him that I would report him and the company if they continued to call my home # and harass me.  He said, "Don't speak to me like that or I will hurt you.  Do you understand me?"  I again, told him not call me anymore and then hung up.  These people need to be stopped this is beyond harassment.  I tried contacting AT&T and they told me that they don't track or keep records of incoming calls - unbelievable! So when this guy comes to my home, he can easily find my address because he already has my home # and hurts me, maybe then AT&T will keep records. Thank you.
