A guy claiming to be Scott Weir has been calling me for months from various numbers, this was the latest one.  His voicemail always leaves the number 408-971-3000 as his callback number.

His message is stupid:  "The nature of my call is somewhat time sensitive.  bla bla bla call me back by bla."

For a "time sensitive" thing he sure doesn't seem to mind being ignored.  What a liar.

Go away damn recruiters.

hey I just got this number and checked via google - good to kknow I didn't miss anything, as the message was garbled but did say "sensitive"!

i'd like to connect this to my voice meail message system...

This guy is relentless... called the main switchboard five times an hour for hours on end.  At first he talked really fast like that would make me feel pressured to accomodate his lunacy, then he was rude, then he tried to change his voice, but the same phone number kept showing up on caller ID.  I had fun playing games with him for a little while then I got bored and just stopped answering his calls.

i also just got a call on my office phone from a pushy sounding guy with a sensitive message, and asked me to call him back soon at 408 971 3000.

they work both sides - candidate and staffing.

Ha. Exactly the same here, but from a different person, which I don't know. They called me at my work number, so I think they are a recruiter.

Here's the message:

"Hi Dan, my name is Maggie Dee. The nature of my call is time-sensitive, so I hope to get a hold of you by 6:30. Tale to you soon, bye-bye."

Same caller ID number, 808-447-5936, and she left the same callback number: 408-971-3000, which seems to belong to a recruiting agency indeed (see http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-408-971-3000)
