Military satellite phone.

Thank you very much for posting to this site.  I received a call from this number and wasn't going to answer until I read your posting.  It was my boyfriend in Afganistan whom I haven't spoken with in a week.  God bless and keep our soldiers safe!

It's a satellite phone. If you have a loved one serving overseas answer it! You can't return the call though.

This is a satellite phone. It's not coming from Hawaii, it's just the number assigned.  My daughter is in Afghanistan and it's what I get when she calls using the company's sat phone.  It's not a dialable number though, so calls won't go through to it.

I have two missed calls in a row from this number and when I called it back it just aloha hawaii something or other. Im not with anyone who is overseas though. So Im not sure who it is calling me. Weird.

Did anyone get an answer at this number? I called it back and it was a "wahi wahi switch center?" My boyfriend is serving overseas as well, and I want to figure out how to call him back. Does anyone know how?

My boyfriend is serving overseas too and he called me from this number a few days ago. 808 is a Hawaii area code, but he's in Iraq so I'm not sure how that works.

It's a satellite phone ground station satellite gateway in Hawaii. Iridium satellite calling services uses it.

My husband also calls from this line from Iraq, it's badically a free DSN call from the base. It'll be either an 808 # which is Pearl Harbor or 210 which is Fort Sam Houston.

does anyone know who this is calling me? when i call it back it says that it is not in service. i do have a boyfriend in iraq, so maybe its him, but he usually calls me from a calling card, and that is not the same number I'm used to seeing. i didnt answer it in the past, but yesterday i did and it was a really bad connection and i couldnt hear the person on the line...anyone know anything about this number?

Guy called me to buy my car on Ebay.  He said he was calling from a satellite phone in Kuwait.
I spoke with him for several minutes.

Answer this call if you ever see this phone number again! My best friend is serving in Afghanistan and I have missed the call 3 times, wish I didn't, I just want to hear his voice and know that he's ok.
