Call me about fraud. Say that sent mail never did. Told me I was going have criminal charges against me.call them self cfds number 5015504130 anybody else get call from them.don't know where they are located told me that if I give them email they would let me pay settlement that they provide. I'm worried can somebody help me. Google the number and a list of numbers come up.

there is this #810-223-0563 that said in an indian accent (i'm hindu, so i know) that there were "legal charges against my dad and are going to start legal prosecution against him if he didn't return the call." I think I Know where she is from, but i don't know how this scammer knows our information, she is from a city in southern ohio called akron, so call the police and report something bogus is happening in Akron and i think there will be a huge police cover in the city which will scare the scammer. (i have tried this trick on dozens of scammers and it's worked).

Yes i just got a call from 8102230563 and i reported to our county police and they said it's a scam and not worry. If they keep calling we can report to FCC about the number

Harrasing call from this number saying they are IRS crime branch

Someone called me twice last week from this number with arrest warrant etc. I simply hung up. But these guys must be prosecuted for what they are doing.

I just got a VM from these guys (claiming to be from Crime Investigation Department and with the same 810 phone #).  When I call them back ,it goes to a voice mail saying it cannot accept any more voice mail.

Good to know that this is a scam (probably from India) and I probably will not waste my time on this reporting or even bothering to call them back again.  Btw, I'm Indian too and fall into the common segment they are targeting.

I received yesterday this kind of phone  and say that I have stat investigation that have to pay money otherwise within half hour police will arrest and has to go jail. pay money now otherwise i have no defence in court. I went police station and they say it's big scam to get money from people.

He did not tell me what is the reason, but threatened me that he can put me on jail. I wanted to gather his information, told me that he is from Plain MIchigan. He asked my wife name, I pretend as roommate. I told me that hold your horse, why you pushing me, let me get your information and paass to my room mate. He hang on me.

Last week, I received a call from this very number claiming that I had evaded paying taxes for the year 2010, and that he was sending an officer to arrest me. Just like that! I told him that I would press charges against him since I had been serving in the US army in Iraq during the period he mentioned. He immediately hung up. My son called him at the same number and he (threw up) using swear words. We hung up.
I think it is incumbent on the police of his city to put an end to this.

You should give them the phone number to your local police department.  Give them the mailing address to the police department too... or better yet, the name, phone #, and mailing address of the district attorney, or the states attorney general's office.  That might end the B.S. Calls.

Now if you could call me back but I have to start my legal procedure against your name and against your identity. So call me back. I love you fire stuff. This is officer Jason Smith. I'll speak to you regarding your case file and they diagnosed me with the charges. Thank you and have a great day"

Got a call from this number.  "Crime Investigation Department" from "Sheriff's office" in "Michigan"  alleged that we have a unpaid debt and that we were going to be arrested by "federal police".  

I told him to be quiet and identify himself.  He yelled and hung up.

They had other calls going in the background.  Very much an Indian accent.

This people are indian and they are calling from India. They behave like they don't speak Hindi but if you start cursing them in Hindi they will curse back at you and also they will say that we made you people fool (Kaise chutia banaya).

Guy left me a voice message from 8102230563 and  said he is a state investigator name Jay William. He said there are 3 legal cases against my name and social security number. He also said I need to call him back as soon as possible. His accent sounded like desi american. It is a total scam and I am gonna report them to local police here in New York.

28-Jan-2013  I received a call from this number.   I was transferred to officer Brad King.  He mentioned 3 criminal charges against me and threatened to put me in jail, cancel my passport and citizenship if I don't pay money.  I just hung up the phone and reported to local police.   Police said this is a common scam and do not provide any information or money.

they called claiming they are officer allen parish, then he put me on hold and acted like he transferred me to the sheriff's department. he changed his voice a little and then i could tell it was the same guy. he didn't get any information, finally i just said i've got to go and i hung up.

all a big scam. what a phoney. he said some legal action was going to take place against me and that me and my family have charges pressing against us for some missed payments.

Give them bogus information and address.  Then tell them that you work for the Police department and you are going to inform Detroit Police of their scam.  Then curse him out till he hangs up. Then keep calling and screaming at him. Keep calling a dozen times and scream in his ears. When you call do a *67 to block your caller ID. Teach these scumbags a lesson.

I just finished talking to a guy named Officer. Ron Davis who tells me that he is an Investigating Officer employed from Fed Govt.
He has been calling regularly to my friends place telling him he might be arrested and all BS.
I asked him to send me the Legal Paperwork via Email or Fax which he is not doing and pressing him to finish the case right now if you pay for the same.
I am reporting this incident to 911.
Please be careful. I believe they are targeting specifically Desi ppl as we get scared faster.
In this case please call Local Police and inform them the same.

You are not from BCI.  This is not a federal agency, it is a scam.  Many of these scumbags steal your information from the interent, other collection agencies or buy the information.  In America you do not go to jail for a debt.  1. A real collection agency must prove that you owe the debt. 2. You have avenues to dispute real debt collections. 3. do not give personal information, if it is a real bank or collection agency they already have your information. 4.. dont talk to them, hang up.  5.. File a complaint with the FTC.  They have found and shut down some of these fraudsters.
