i am from ontario canada, and i just got the call to my cell phone.

weird.

Basically received the same call in spanish

Says "Alfordsville IN" according to caller-ID but who knows.  Didnt answer and no message left.  I am on the DNC registry and this is my cell phone so unsure why they are calling.  The DNC does work though - I only get 1 maybe 2 calls per month on my cell from soliciters.  My friends who did not register their cell phones get a dozen per week - if not more.

I work in a 9-1-1 call centre and on June 2nd 2009 our agency recieved numerous (like at least 10-15 calls) over the period of two hours from 812-644-9898.  It wasn't in spanish. It was in English saying "stay on the line for a vacation offer" ... "press 1 for an agent".

they call me but I  dint answer but I call back and the operator said I had wrong number that was on oct the 31

same just happened 2 hours ago.

Call from this number, however, I did not answer because i did not recognize the number.  I tried looking on google and it was reported the number is from somewhere in Indiana.  I am on the national do not call list, so, go figure!

got the call, and yeah the phone is diconnected, dont fall for it. I did not have a problem understanding what they said, i speak three languages. People dont be f***** racist just because you dont understand spanish, all u know is how to order a burrito haha.

I got this call also sounds like they are using a dialer that they set in a set of #'s to call and it calls all numbers and you don't have to be on a call list they aren't using a list a dialer will call all numbers in the set area like 713-822 through 713-823 and if ya number tis in there ya get the call sorry I don't know how ya can stop them I know dialer's are not legit in some states but it may be allowed in the state they are in and they can randomly call all over the us. Also the calling back and getting the message the number tis disconnected tis because that line only dials out and can't get calls in like they do for pay phones.

Got a call 10/29/09 at 829 AM PST. Missed the call. When I called the number back I got a disconnected message.

I saw this number but didn't answer it. I'm glad others reported it. There was no voice mail.

Got a call, said it was for telus costomers only and I could claim my prize by pressing 1.

I just got a call from this number and I called back it says this number is no longer in service.

Of course I did not press one, lord knows what da'F would happen if I pressed it.
I hate stupid time wasting stuff like this. I hope they catch this SOB's

Seems like this have been going on for a while now..
i just got it.. but i've recently been getting a lot of spanish phone calls asking for someone who i don't know so i thought it was just for her again.. but then i was tried to track her down cuz i'm really tired of getting her calls..
so i googled most of the numbers and got here...

and i'm pretty sure i haven't given my number to anyone but people i know..
(and i didn't put it on the internet either...)

for heaven's sake, if you're going to ring my g-d cell phone at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and disturb my sleep, at least have the decency to speak ENGLISH while you're trying to scam me!!!!

I got the same call on my LA t Mobile number area code 310 like 2 minutes ago.

Got the same call just now, very strange. Most likely some automated dialer for some marketing or long distance scam

Also just received the call from this phone on my cellular.speaking Spanish, I hung-up!

Got a call in Canada from this number on my cell phone. The recording said " You have qualified for a special offer from "my service provider by name" please press 1 to accept the offer. I hung up after waiting one minute.

Wow interesting how that call just seemed to stop for about 8 months and continue up again. And now it's in English it looks like :)
They called me at 6:32 pm pacific time. (I'm juts posting the time to see if any one else got it at this time too)

Actually I heard it's a mess there right now,like killings and such all throughout mexico.
I re-dailed the area code to see what state it was from.
I actually got a little excited because I knew someone from Indianna....but then I realized it was the wrong area code, those fuggers! Got my hopes up for nuthin :P

just got called from this # too 812-644-9898. I heard something in spanish and hung up right away.

This number called 5 minutes ago.  Didnt answer it. They didn't leave a message I see that my cellphone number has been leaked out again.  I guess time to change my number again :(.
