This number is one of many spam-numbers originating from the same location. It goes through a cycle of numbers that call your cell. Ignore it.

Same thing happened to me.  I missed the call so I called back (waifing on a call) and when the line picked up, it said "to be placed on the do not call list, press 1" so I didand the line immediately disconnected.  I sure hope i didn't make a mistake.

Called my cell phone a few minutes ago, I didn't answer, rang twice on my cell and no message was left.

This same thing has happened to me a couple of times. If I press 1 when I call back will they actually remove me from the list?  Does anyone know if that actually works?  I get alot of business calls from random numbers and don't want to miss one because of these spam calls!

Got this call on 8/6/09. i didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. Google'd the number and ended up here. Great Idea for a website, just wish we could have them arrested from here somehow.

Called my cell when I was away from my desk. I just registered my new number on the Do Not Call list so I might get this crap for a little while longer.

I'd be hesitant to "Press 1" to remove me from the list if I picked up that call. Seems to me that it'd be similar to replying "Unsubscribe" to a junk email - by doing it, the spammer knows they reached a legit email address and junk mail will jump up. I'd expect the same with telemarketing, honestly.

GOT IT TOO...FRAUD.  CONTACT FCC, FILE AN ONLINE COMPLAINT AND LETS COLLECTIVELY STOP THIS FROM CONTINUING.

Newest is a pitch to find out about eligibility for government-backed mortgages.  Didn't bother to push "1" to talk to a human.

This is coming from somebody who represents themselves as ADT Security.  These are telemarketers.

I just got a call from this number tpday. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message....hmmmm...thanks everyone who did answer to inform us that it's fraud.

Just called me. My phone showed it as a # from Evansville, Indiana. I thought it might be an employee I work. Not being sure, I typed the # into google and this website came up.

I did call the # back but when I did I was just prompt to press 1 to be taken off their call list. I did not because I assumed that is their way of knowing if they dailed a correct # so I just hung up.

I didn't answer and no message was left. I was suprised this site came up when i googled it though. Thanks for the feedback guys. Now im not wondering who it may have been. I did call the number back though and pressed 1 when promted to be put on the "do not call list". The number then hung up on me and said it would take 24 hours to process my request.

This number showed up on my call log on my work phone from last night.  Thought it was work related, but decided to do some research first.  Glad I did.  I did find out it was an Indiana number, though before stumbling across this website.  I will NOT be calling it back.

First called our business phone (a Vonage number), then my cell phone within 1/2 hr. No messages left. Same experience as the rest of you.  What ticks me off is I just got a new cell phone and had only given the number to family members - didn't enter it online at all.  US Cellular is going to hear from me!
