I wonder if they call anyone there in Tampa? maybe if I was there I would go over there and kick some a*z.

They've called several times. I finally picked up. It's a scam. I told them not to call back. They woke me up that morning. Tonight they called at dinner time. They hung up when I answered. I'm not a happy camper. What good does it do to be on the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY?"

This is about the 4th call my home phone has been called by this company...even though it has been on the "DO NOT CALL" list for decades..Do you have a smoke detector? Do you check the batteries? DUH. Do you have an alarm system in your home...NOW WHY THE &$#% would you even ask me that crap.
NEVER call my # again.

Received a call from this # on my landline.  No message left.  Am on the DNC list.  Not the first call from this #.

If you have an iPhone with iOS 7 or later you can block calls and text messages from a number. No need for jail breaking.

This company is calling people even if they are not on the Federal Do Not Call List Registry. If they call you report them https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx even if they do not leave a message.

They refuse to identify themselves if you request it which is also questionable.

I knew it had to be a scam, but I'm retired now, and I have the time and personality to mess with them.  I said hello about 6 times, then said that since they had called me, the least they could do is say hello; then I just said bunch of a$$holes, and right about then someone came on the line, which is when I hung up.  I'm going to enjoy my retirement.  Also have a rice metal whistle which is going to come in very handy.

That's a good tip. Does that work on cell phones or is it something you use with a VOIP landline phone?

Also if you have an iPhone that has been jailbroken you can purchase a Cydia app called iBlacklist and you can use it to block any number, send it to your voicemail or just hang up on them. (That's how I do it anyway) or you can even block SMS messages with an auto-reply or just block it altogether and you never even know when they call. (Unless you check your blacklist call history)
You can also make a white list if you want to get that granular with who and who cannot call you.  Never understood why the iPhone didn't come out of box with the ability to block numbers.

Called my DNC work cell. I thought I recognized number so I answered. As I was on lunch I played along, I told them all kinds of things about my windows and doors, security is lacking etc etc, and gave them my address (our police department by GPS address  but not real street address as it is on a corner). I left it at I want to consider the offer. Hung up, blocked the number. Hope they go and case the joint.

Day #2 call. So I answered because it could have been a member of my online church. I could hardly understand him through the accent, but my thick Texan made him confused over and over for a hour before he hung up.

I received a call from these people, way too much information was known.  First he asked for the woman who used to have my phone number, then her husbands name. As I said you have the wrong number this used to be their number he called ME by name, both married and maiden name.  Yeah... then he's conducting a survey about smoke detectors.  Yes I have those.  Do you change the batteries every six months.  Of course. Do you have a security system.  Yes 2 german shepherds and ADT then he hung up on me.  I think I should call the police dept...

Sounded like some middle eastern guy somewhere where there were other people. He congratulated me on winning a new home security system. So I screwed around with him until he hung up. He also got my gender wrong. I understand that I have a deep voice for a female, but....

They did the same thing to me. They  called my cell  I answered it, and said hello 3 times, no one was there.

Same story. I want to know how they got my number. I asked to be removed skank hung up. Anyone in Tampa wanna stop by and kick the living $@!* out of them? It pays well. One more call I'm going to Tampa. Also 813 932-0018 same place. No answer. If the line is out of service how can it ring me.... Faked! DO WE FIND IT FUNNY ADT is in between ads. And FRONTPOINT security..

Boycott ADT AND FRONTPOINT for backing this behavior.

Received this call at 4:10 pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Went to voice mail. A hang-up. Caller ID says "Florida."

Called and hung up on me, said nothing.

They called my work cellphone tonight and I didn't pick up. I have no clue how they got the number. I've never used it for anything other than clients.

Received 4  cellphone calls(under 3-5 minute window with it be closer to three minutes) each one directly after the other as the phone quit ringing, hitting voice mail(no message) hung at start and immediately called back. Trying to trick you a friend is calling you with an emergency type game since most telemarketing criminals scum call and move on. This knew low trace goes to  the number shown (possibly forged)  but listed online as

Unknown if they would have quit trying if  in an attempt to block (idiot verizon) took  trying to enter number blocking  digits command as I was t to answer this call.... Which was ended quickly and they didn't call back. For at least 10 minutes by  writing of this entry. There was a substantial enough delays between the ringing cycles to allow for the phone to have cycled to voice mail and number had to be redialed(even auto dialed) and the connection/location delay from the cell towers.

I WANT TO KNOW HOW A PHONE CAN WORK AND IN 1 SECOND BE DISCONNECTED. I WANT A PHONE LIKE THAT, ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE? A MAN CALLED FROM THE NUMBER AND ONLY SAID ONE WORD--HELLO, HUNG-UP! Yes, I got the same issue they talking about alarm system two times block the number and receive other call from different number told them I wasn't a home owner and hung me without saying thanks for answer or anything else beware SPAM for sure.

I got a call from this number, and after about 30 seconds of listening to an Arab guy talk I started messing with this dude, asking him questions about Osama and how he felt about us killing him and to top it off I told him if they didn't take me off the call list I will find them and kill them in my best Liam neeson voice and he hung up
