ive had 7 calls already today, and thats pretty typical. They do not take notes, dont care, make threats....the usual collectors tuff. I always make my payment, just not by the date they want. They truly dont want to take my vehicle, as its not worth what i owe. They can keep calling, and i'll keep paying when i do.My mortgage comes first, everything else is second.

I am not a Capital One customer and get a dozen calls a day.  I spoke to a woman in service who said she deleted my number from their system but continue to recieve calls.

I emailed their Senior VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary john.finneran@capitalone.com and within hours recieved a vmail from Erica "executive assistant" 804-968-3371 - unfortunately I was in a meeting so this is still not resolved.

I suggest everyone email and call the heck out of these two the way their company phonebots call us and see how they like it.

I for one will never use Capital One.

We have had the same thing happen to us! I have had it with Capital One! They are truly pissing me off. I am letting them sink themselves. I am keeping a log of all the times they call me per day. Today so far, I have received 22 calls from them from various numbers. The area codes are as follows: 305,316,813,304,972,818,508,215,989,800,952,805. I have received a call from all of these area codes just TODAY! They start everyday around 8:13am and last untilabout 8:52pm. When they call, I just answer and hang up. i know we are late, but we are in a recession. I try to pay at least 100 per week when I can and it never counts for jack with them! All I can say, is I know I owe and I have full intentions of paying, but it is just gonna be slow. If they pick up the car, then I will let them have it. I will not get it out!

Yes this is Capitol One Auto Finance, they robo call with many different numbers and different area codes, however I do believe that most of them are in INDIA.  They will start to call you one or two days after your payment is due if you do not pay on the date due.  I have paid split payments and regular payments and that does not matter either. They do not take notes and it us impossible to talk to these people.  I wanted to refinance the loan and they claim they do not do that. Yes they do ask when the next payment will be made even when you make the payment, and they also send these letters that say they are going to take the car. In the last several days we have received at least ten to fifteen calls a day every fifteen minutes from many phone numbers.

I called back.  It is Capital One Auto Finance.  They seem to have many numbers from different area codes that they harass you from.  My payment was due on July 23rd and they've been calling me for 2 weeks.  It doesn't matter if you talk to them or not.  They don't read their notes.  If you tell them you already made our payment, they will 'choke' and say "Oh, I'm calling to see if you will be making your next payment on time!"  At 24.5% interest rate (which was not what I was approved for), they can come pick up the car. They can either refinance it to the originally agreed upon interest rate (which was reasonable), or they can eat the car and we all lose.  Their sister company is Household Finance.  If you were in the process of refinancing and they kept dragging it out...they were trying to get a higher interest rate on the refinancing AND your car!  I believe the word for that is fraud.  Capital One received quite a large sum of bailout funds as well.  I'm hiring an attorney to go after HFC first.  I didn't cancelled the refinancing after I had been approved.  There was no way I could have afforded that house payment.  I tried to refinance my adjustable rate first mortgage from 1996 that was sky high at the end of 2007 to a fixed rate.  I think Maddoff was running it at the time.  :o)
