Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. They left a voicemail saying I could lower the interest rate on my credit cards. Same as the previous poster. I will file a complaint with state authorities here in NJ.

They called my cell phone. It was a recorded message saying they could lower my interest rate on my credit cards.  Pressed one to talk to someone.  They said they were credit card services for Bank of America.  I told them it was illegal for them to call my cell and it was illegal in our state to have recorded calls.  I asked for their address to report them to the secretary of state and they said "you have our phone number.  have a good day."

Credit Card Scam - they refused to give me the name of the company and hung up when I asked them to take me off of the marketing list.

Received a call from this number, no idea who or what, voice message was left.  They were looking for a previous neighbor, who has been providing my cell phone number for contact information.  Now I'm receiving calls regarding her delinquent debts!  

I recommend getting the apps NQ Call Blocker and/or PrivacyStar.
They block numbers you mark to be blocked. You never even hear the ring.
PrivacyStar even asks if you want a complaint filed, which a lawyer's office
will then contact you explaining the 'up to $1000' award you can receive.
Also Advanced Systemcare has a Mobile Care app that works great too.

they called me & after I answered put me on hold well I hung up because they called my cell phone & we are not wasting my minutes. I called them right back & talked to a nice operator & let her know I'm not who they were looking for & she said that was fine & they would take my number off the list so..........

A problem is that when some people go to the ER of a hospital they give a false address and phone number. The people who actually have the number that was given out receive the collection calls.

I got a call today and they identified themselves as Preferred Collection Mgmt Services same as Magnum above. I do not owe anyone anything and do not plan to call back. If they have a problem with me, they can notify me by snail mail! I am also listed on the "do not call' registry., but that didn't seem to matter.

This obnoxious number calls each morning at 8:15 Eastern. When I answer, a recording says, " This is an important business call, but all of our agents are busy. Press 1 to hold for the next available agent."
Caller ID shows the name as Preferred Collections.

there are letters on the web - samples - that you can send them to put them on notice to stop calling you. One letter requires that they prove the debt. If they keep it up, contact a collections/harrassment attorney - Reeder & Nussbaum in St Pete is a good one - they will do it on contingent basis if you have a case.

Second call in as many weeks. Once again, no message left.

It's a collection agent that is nationally renown for being nasty, rude, and having the wrong numbers. A brief search shows thousands of complaints from people about these guys having the wrong numbers yet continues to call 5-15 times a day. Good Luck getting rid of them, they won't take wrong number for an answer, and national do not call list makes them laugh.

Call rang 3x.  Left no msg

They keep calling me on my cell phone and at work. I keep telling them that I do NOT owe t hem anything and I am not easy going about it - but they keep on calling! What do I have to do to get these guys to stop calling?

They keep calling looking for a Regina Harris. I tell them I am not Regina and they get rude with me. They start demanding to speak to her and they start threatening to keep calling me and to stop playing games. I get rude with them too and have filed a complaint against them. They ask me to verify who I am by asking for my name and person information. DON"T GIVE IT. No company should be asking to verify personal information. I too am registered on the Do not call list but they keep calling. It's annoying. They call me about 5-10 times a day.

They have been calling my cell phone for months now, and today they called me at work and siad I will speak to you later in the day when you are not at work.  Well you can try but I will not pick up.lol

I have now received three different calls to my cell phone from this number, and each time it is a different situation. The first time was a recorded message leaving a call back number but no contact name. The second time was a hang-up, and just this morning it was a call back number but no contact name or what the call was in reference to, just some recorded message telling me (and not even addressing me as a named person) to call about "very important matters." I may have debts, but I know who they are to and/or with, and none of them include this phone number or this person (I also looked up the number and got the same information online as Magnum above.

I too am getting repeated calls from this number and they leave a voicemail. I looked up the number and it says it is Paul Read at    Preferred Collection Management Service.
It says it is for Lawerance Clark about a debt this time.
Previous times it has been the same but for a different person.
This is very annoying, costs me airtime and I would like a stop put to it.

This "business" keeps calling my cell phone while I am at work; I do not answer.  The message left on voice mail is that the call is for Joel Martin ... that there will be a three second delay and if you remain on the line, you are acknowledging that you are Joel Martin.  I have had this telephone number for 15+ years and it has been listed on the National Do Not Call registry since the inception of "Do Not Call." Not only am I *not* the person they are allegedly attempting to reach, I don't know anyone by that name.  I have no unpaid/overdue debts (lucky these days, I know) so there is absolutely no reason for a collection agency to be calling my number.  Each time a call comes from 813-251-0802, I file a complaint online at donotcall.gov.

This number called MY WORK and would not leave a last name but left this number for me to call but would not say what it was in regards to.  I'm not calling it back!
