State Investigation Dept. of Texas called from 210-893-2302 and a David Nash asked if I knew about a case filed against me regarding some payday loan. I said no. I do not have a payday loan. He became extremely nasty. I told him to eff off and hung up. He speaks with a distinct Indian accent. I didn't realize Texas was in India! He tried this before under another name, Alex. He got the same response from me... eff off moron. On that occassion I reported it to the FTC and FBI who informed me they knew about this scam. Well do something about it as some poor person who is not savvy will get ripped off.

i got a phone call from the number  9514890225  he said his name was john and told me it was a very serious matter and that i needed to call him back and put my lawyer on if not then be ready for the rath and to have a good day and God bless when i called the number back they just answered hello and i asked what this number was and the guy said it was the us attorneys office business or customer affairs and i hung up .. but i had been getting calls from weird numbers one started 064 but also hadnt been answering  and then today got a voicemail they all have thick indian accents, and i think his lastname was smith.. so heres a new number to look for

This is hardly a company, this is a Scam. Every call is different but the same. The name of the company changes and the names of the employees change; but the same scare tactics remain. They state that there are companies that are going to sue you and put you in jail. Then they try and squeeze you for information and get your banking information and take your money. I have done a little research and it seems that the group was operating out of California, but now they are in Tampa, Florida area. They have several cell phones with all different area codes and numbers. Every time you call one of them it is the same guy it seems. If you catch them unaware them you will get a woman who's name also changes frequently. Here are a list of "employees" and phone numbers that these scamers are using:

These numbers can be searched throughout the internet and it's all bad news. whocallsme.com is a good one, but there is many. I have tried to obtain a mailing address and they will not give. They are violating many rights of many people: old and young, rich and poor; but mostly the poor. I have been calling these numbers using *67 to protect myself and I have found it very enjoyable! If these guys have harassed you then try calling them (protecting your number), and if it is a girl ask for a guy and if it is a guy then ask for a girl. Try and get a mailing address - that's the golden ticket. Never give your real name or information, these guys are somewhat serious. Please help stop these guys.

Some man named Frank Jackson (indian accent) called stating that a friend used my name an phone nunber as a reference and that if I didnt do something about it I would have a warrent for my arrest. It is obviously a scam, he has calle dat least 5 times and this is the first time I have answered.  I would like to get this taken care of if anyone is going to contact someone about this, I would like to get my name off his list. I think contacting the Attorney General is a great idea. i dont want anyone to get scammed by this guy.

this same john smith called me and asked had very convincing information. he has not been rude with me yet but i believe it is because i am a U.S. marine which i think has detoured him from being beligerent because i called back and confronted him about it being a scam. he just said everyone who said something bad about his company was just trying to get out of their legal obligations as if that would someone grant them amnesty from their alleged crime. suck a scam

My sisters and I have started getting phone calls from (772.228.4008)calling themselves the National Affadavit Processing Services.  They are threatening my family and my sisters over a debt they say my sister owes.  They call constantly.  They have my sisters SS#, where she works.  These people are very arrogant, rude and state reporting them results in "nothing can be done to them", demanding money from relatives.  We are very upset over these calls.  They can not furnish any paper or legal infomation and say they do not have to.  All calls are from foreign speaking individuals.  Other numbers they call from 496.656.7520 called Federal Insurance Agency.  Please help stop these calls threating to put us behind bars.

I just got a call similar to this but with a different company name.  I ended up here because google pointed me here.  I don't know if it's because of the way our phone system works or the fact that it's VOIP but the phone number it reportedly came from was 052497347, apparently an overseas number despite the fact that they claimed to be out of Tampa, FL.

I'm toying with the idea of toying with them should they call back.  The name they mentioned on the phone was nothing similar to mine, which is rather amusing in that my voicemail greeting gives it to them.  Either they could have switched to the name provided or they should have hung up since they wouldn't have had the right informatin to threaten me with.  So I can play off the wrong name issue and string them along or I can answer the phone speaking fake Spanish.

And how's this for professional:  "Either you or your attorney must call us or else all I can do is wish you good luck as the matter falls on you."

Just received a call also.  How do you stop these guys?  They gave me the number 813-388-4935 which was supposed to be the number for the cash advance place I supposedly got a loan from.  Said to give it a call.  I have not yet.  When I googled it I came to this site.  I was pretty sure it was a scam and wanted to see what I found on google.  About a year ago I had the same thing happen and I panicked and gave them my credit card.  Then before they could do anything I canceled the card.  They pestered me for a while but then I didn't hear from them again until I got this call today.  I don't think it is the same people but it might be and just using a little different tactic (same but different).  About a month ago I had $150 taken out of my account for a payday loan that I did not owe.  I called the bank, cancelled my card because they used my debit card, which I do not know how they got my number, and the bank did a fraudulent check.  They put the money back in my account right away and checked it out.  I received information from the back that they accepted my claim and I did not have to pay the money back.  I never did hear though what the bank found out exactly.  I never gave my card number out so I do not know where they got my number.

I get a daily call at my place of business from these IDIOTS! Are they kidding me or what??? I work in the Credit and Collections field and have done so for over 10 years. Nothing they are doing is legit, Ms. Sarah Jones that calls me sounds more like star from Slumdog Millionaire if you get my drift. I dont even bother responding, they will go away eventually.

i got a call from these low lifes also i called the police and made a report and they know it as a huge scam so want something fun to do collect the numbers and names and call them back for a change and give them the run around its ALOT  of fun i did it all nite bet they didnt sleep a wink poor them right

I got these calls about a month and a half ago..at my place of employment, which also happens to be a collections department of a bank..so i am very aware of the laws. I had to have the local police department come to my company and the officer advised me that there is no "law suit" against me, and they certainly would not be contacting me by phone to tell me. the officer also called these people back and left a message stating they should contact the police department if they have any further questions. these people are ridiculous. they also tried to tell me i took out some pay day loan and paid with a fradulent check, in august of 2008. i didnt even have a checking account with the bank they were stating until september of 2008, and i certainly never wrote checks because i never had any for it! it is a private side account i opened after i had my son, it will be for him when he goes to college.the calls stopped for a while until just a few minutes ago, they called from a number 052497347?? not even a real number??  any legitimate collections company by law has to give you all of their contact information..including phone number, business address, and they have to state their name.it is a compliance violation that could cost companies MILLIONS if they do not do that!!! lets get these a-holes. i have no tolerance for disrespect!!!

I just got the same call as all of you are reporting.  Fortunatly I didnt answer it and it went to voicemail.  The caller claimed to be from NAPS the same co you are describing. I believe she said her name was Nancy but it was hard to tell with her thick Indian accent.  Before I called back I decided to look them up and found several sites claiming its a scam.  Boy Im glad I looked this up first.  Im guessing Im in for a onslaught of calls from then now from the looks of it.  
The caller ID # was strange: (063)959-7664 but she told me to call her back at the (813) 283-0611 number which is close to all of yours?  I will report this to the BBB but Im guessing that wont do much.

OMG these people they have been calling me for over a month now going on two-they have called my mother my best friend who lives in a total different state.  They  He (Mr. Brown) who you can not understand is the most rude person.  Claim they have my SS# all my info to call immediatly etc.. I will lose my house etc.. Funny thing is I don't even own a house- go figure- total scam!!  I di speak to them one of the first times they called and it sounded like a sales call asked him to remove my name number etc...  I then hung up Mr Brown called me back 15 times!!!  I finally talked to him and couldn't understand a dang word then he suddenly starts talking to some one else clearly sitting next him I finall y yelled at him told him to never call me again!!  HA HA silly me well needless to say that has not happened he they still continue to herasse my mother my friend etc,,  What can we do about this who can we contact to stop these crazy people!!!!!

I received a call from a John Smith at National Affidavit Processing Services with the #813-283-0610.  He claims he has all of my information and that there will be a lawsuit against my name and social security number.  He said that a lawsuit would be served at my place of business.  I told him what are you calling about?  He put their attorney Mike Wilson on the phone, and when I began asking him questions, he was very belligerent.  They also called me from the #315-770-0407.  If this harassment continues, I will place a call to the Florida Department of Children & Families, and inform them that I am a senior citizen, and I am receiving harassing calls from these people.  The state I live in does not approve of its most vulnerable people (senior citizens) being harassed or intimidated.  It's about time something is done about these people.  They are rude and intimidating.  This abuse has to be stopped now.

I just called this number, but thanks to the info in this website I was able to ammo up for the call.  They go by several different company names (National Affidavit Consolidation Services or Processing or any combination of these words); and make fake personal names up to try and steal money from you.  Names of "Employees":

Any one of these could be real names or combinations of names, but call that number 813-283-0610 and ask for one or all of them.  If a woman answers the phone then ask for a man, then when the man comes to the phone say that you asked for a different man or even a woman.  If we can annoy them and rattle their cage beck, then maybe we could scare them off.

I actually received a call from a Nash Brown and then I was transferred to a Mr. Arnold Watson, who had a thick Indian accent, and he stated that I had owe a credit of an online payday loan....but he never gave me the direct creditors name, what got me was that he knew my personal info as in SSN#, address, hm & wk phone and he stated that he I would make arrangements with him that he would stop any legal actions. So not know I tried and made arrangements with him because I didn't want any legal ramifications, but what made me skeptical was that instead of me making my arranged payments but Western Union he demanded that I go to Wal-Mart and purchase a pre-paid card and load the money on the card. Which I did....but after reading others response I see that he clearly is a SCAM artist and I won't make the same mistake twice............So if you get a call from the above number tell him
that he's a crook.

I received a call today at my Job from a woman that gave me the name Kathy Wilson her number is 496-656-7520 she claimed that I had an outstanding Payday loan that has not been paid and I do not I contacted the payday loan company I did have one with CASHNET USA and they informed that surprise I do not have any outstanding balance with them they told me that the original request I sent came through a 3rd party called Click Speed I also contacted them to inform them that their database has been comprimised. I reported these people to the FTC (Complaint Number - 24085090) and have been posting on every site I find. This woman had my last 4 of my checking account, my email address, my social security number my mailing address my work name and number. I am very distraught by this phone call from Affidavit Processing Service she has a very thick Indian accent and I am sure she was trying to scam me. I told her to never contact me again and that if she does have any legal notice for me or against me to send it in writing to my house. If she calls again I will report this to the police and they can handle it from here on out. I also enrolled myself and my spouse in LIFELINK to help keep this from ever happening again.

I have been harassing phone calls from 954-603-5038 and ghere recently,496-656-7520. Just like all of you it is a thick indian accent. the last person that called me was harry peters. They are constantly calling me at work and demanding to speak to my supervisor. When i hang up they keep calling back. i have told them not to call me at work and they keep doing it. i called them back and when i asked questions they hung up. they are very rude and obnoxious and have been harrassing me for months.

Be advised guys. Another number to add to the list is 734-847-9545. THey called me from this number today 17 times within an hour and yesterday from 496-656-7520 22 times. 15 of those was back to back to back. They call with the hope of catching you by using a different number.

I also received a call at my place of business from a Don Marcus @212-372-7274, who left a message with someone I work with who emailed me the information. When I called him back I spoke with Eric Johnson who also had a heavy Indian accent. He threatened me with a lawsuit and gave me the case#. I thought he was legitimate because he had all of my personal information. I was a little suspicious when I called them and they didn't answer the phone with a company name, it seemed like it was not a business at all. He said he was going to email me some documents, which I never received. I called them again today late this morning and asked him to fax it to me. He said it would take about an hour, that their fax machine was not operating properly. I did not get a fax either, I called them back this afternoon and the telephone number has been disconnected. I had a feeling they were scam artists and I'm glad I didn't fall for their scam.

I got a call 4 times in the past 2 days from a man named Nathan Brown claiming it was a very important matter and that I was going to be sued. He had a very strong Indian accent. I though it was legite because he too had all of my information. Unfortunatley I gave him my cc number to find out it is a scam. I reported it to my banl and am calling the police dept as well. They called me from phone number 347-753-8161. Please dont fall for this like I was stupid enough to.

got a call from these people several times. last time they threatened me in a way that got me upset. I reported them to the FCC. I just got a call from these idiots again but this time they are blocking their number. I refused to speak with them and 'verify' any information and they got hostile. I reminded them of the report with the FCC I made and all the others. they tried to steam roll me into thinking ALL these complaints were lies and he was the only one trying to help and then tried to claim that I was doing the scam by not paying on a loan that I took out, which I never did. I told him to send the information in writing and he tried to tell me that he was telling me everything I needed to know. He even tried to tell me how many people appreciate him calling and "helping" them get the matter straightened out. I started laughing and told them to get the affidavit for court if he can, he started cursing and hung up the phone.

This is an overseas scam! Do not be intimidated by these people. They are a fraudulent company that has stolen your information from an application that you may have submitted over the internet and is trying to convince you that you owe money for a cash advance. What you need to do is report them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau. Then, file a police report for harrassment. Do not delete any voicemails from them. Keep them for evidence. And finally, go to your bank, tell them what's going on, close your accounts, get new accounts, and sign up for identity protection with the three national credit bureaus.

i have gotten phone calls from this company also, a person by the name of JASON TAYLOR, he called my job 7 times in one day, threating they are going to file a warrent for my arrest.. they even called my mom and told her i was trying to take a loan out using her ssn.. the rude, nasty, will not give company address, and have no respect for ppl at all... im am filing a complint to whom ever will listen... I notified them on june 1,2010 i  cant be contacted at work, and they do it for spite, because i would not give them my ssn... AFTER THEM CALLING ME AT WORK NUMEROUS TIMES, WHEN I GOT OFF AND CALLED THEM ON MY CELL THE SUPERVISOR WHO CALLED ME A DUMB LADY, WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE NAME OF COMPANY NOR BILLING ADDRESS, AND TOLD ME THEY ARE TAKING ME TO COURT.. THEN TOLD MY MOM HER LOAN WILL BE 300.00 THIS TIME THEN ON THE NEXT VISIT SHE WILL GET 3000.00... SOME NEEDS TO HELP PUT A STOP TO THIS... REFUSE TO LOOSE MY JOB CAUSE OF SOME OVERSEAS PUNK...

I just got a voicemail from these idiots on my cell phone. Some guy named "Victor Jones" with a very thick accent. I was slightly unsettled that he has my name and last 4 of my SS number but I also realize this information is quite easily obtained these days. I smelled a scam immediately , maybe this a**hole will call back and I can tell him where to shove it. He was "polite" in the voicemail but urgent in saying that if I didn't call him back soon he'd forward my affidavit to the court house.

Whats bothersome is that these clowns will probably call my home line and other lines and scare people who I know that worry a lot about these things.
