"chris scott" (female) called family member that is 1800 miles away..claims they are with the fraud and worthless check division and the united check service and processing and that there were 2 felony warrants in our county on my husband..I called got voicemail..she calls back got rude with me after I told her to send me some paperwork because this office was in another state and she went off on me and told me he would be arrested today because he was on court docket for 1pm today..called DA's office and no such warrant and etc.and had nothing on him.. It's bogus and scam with spotbot caller...DA said to report to local pd and have them file with DA's office if calls persisted..Caller ID states Cincinnati, OH

Hi Guys I started to receive calls from this same claimed company with the same threats to me, my family and everything. I have reported this to the FBI, Federal Trade Commision and the Consumer Protection Division in my state as well as where the phone number was calling from. This is FRAUD. The number I was called on was 206-209-0823  2062990823  ( Seattle Washington) from a Harry, Gary Watson and a John Phillip. All claimed I had taken out a loan from American Advanced Cash Advance for $300 that was never paid back. They had all of my information, ( which is very scary). They contacted my references I have used on past applications and claimed they would take them to court as well. Do not confirm any information with these people, REPORT THEM !

This same guy called my husband today and said his name was Officer Frank...LOL. Well he says the same thing to all of us about the payday loan crap. My husband even got a call from this douche on his friends cell phone at work.

this indian guy calls me leaves me a messages saying that he needed to talk to me and my boyfriend.  i called the number back and wanted to know what it was about.  he stated that my boyfriend took out a payday loan and now he was being sued and my name was on the loan and i was being sued too.  i advised that i never signed anything or knew anything about this, so they cannot sue me.  he stated then that i was going to be calling to court for this payday loan.  I advised that he needed to stop calling me and if he didnt then it would be harassment.  he stated that it was not harassment.  I am filing a complaint with my local police department.

Called in regard to a defaulted payday loan and e-mail address i don't use. Saying they were going to file criminal charges.

Some guy from Pakistani or Indian man who identified himself  John Morgan from the investigative department left the nastiest voice mail stating that either myself or my attorney need to contact him...that this call is extremely damn sensitive, and that I defaulted on a payday loan and if I do not return their call I will be picked up by my local police department. then I get phone calls later from my friends saying that he called THEM and threatened them as well, one of which happens to be a COP!!! How he came about their information, I will never know. These people are crazy..I have never taken out a payday loan...!I have started saving all the voice mails and have now filed a complaint with the sheriffs Office and they are investigating, using the voice mails as evidence...I was also told by the local PD that some people buy collection debts 7 years and older, tack on a couple hundred dollars and then refile them as new and try to collect, what there doing is illegal and you should report them whether you owe them or not...

The famous "John Morgan" called repeatedly and when we answered demanded to speak to my husband (by name).  I asked him who he was and why; he would provide no information.  I told to not call my number is he was not willing to give me more information.  He then began to yell at me "ARE YOU ____ ____" over and over and over again.  So I just told him I was going to report him to the authorities and if he called again HE would be arrested!

this same man this time he used the name Walt Miller has been calling me for days trying to reach someone that I havent had contact with in over three years and tells me they took out a payday loan and Im a guantor on the loan and i need to pay it or they qwill have me arrested i told him i haVE SIGNED NOTHING FOR NO ONE AND TO STOP CALLING ME HE THEN CALLS ME 5 MORE TIMES TELLING ME HOW IM GOING TO GO TO JAIL FOR THIS I ASKED HIM HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT.nor again have i signed anything buut yet he couldnt provide any information and the the next time he called he tried to make it seem like he was someone else.  This is not a company it is an individual trying to scam money out of people i have filed a complaint and contacted a lawyer.  I suggest any one else he tries to contact file a complaint as well so we can see him arrested.

This isn't the first time they've tried this on me. But I got their goat from the first time they called by contacting who they said they were calling for. They informed me I owed them nothing. The only way I got them to stop calling my job the first time was to have the receptionist tell them I no longer worked there. (Which I wouldn't have for long if they kept calling me 5 times per day.)Now they are trying this again harrassing my family and friends in the process. They all hang up on them when they call and one is pursuing them for harrassment.

This Indian guy calls and leaves a voicemail demanding I call him back at 813-283-4343. I call back and give him my name he states he can't pull up my file can he call me back. He calls back within five minutes and tells me that a friend of mine took out a pay day loan and she didn't pay it back so because my name is on it they are filing legal actions against me. The friend he mentioned I haven't spoken to in over a year and I never, never signed anything about a pay day loan and I personally have NEVER taken out one myself. So I started questioning him and he didn't have the answers. He told me to contact my friend because as of tomorrow I legal action would be taken. So I told him I googled this number and already knew he was a scam and he was't getting a penny from me that he should be contacting my friend if she owed the money. I have never signed anything with her so they can't take charges against me if they don't have my signature on anything and he can't even answer any questions I have regarding it. He hasn't called back yet.

I just got a call last night 1-2-09 with the same thing..they had all this information on me and could not tell me who they were or who they were working for.  This is scary...They got my aunt's number somehow and called her and threatened her.  I told them to go kiss me where the sun does not shine and that I will be calling the cops on them...I called this morning and the number is not working..they are full of it.

I was at the office when one of my staff gave me a note saying that I have a call from Officer Shawn Brooks and that I should return the call ASAP..the note has a case number that made me so nervous..At first no one picked up the phone and after dialing a number that I saw in my cell's caller Id, an indian guy answered the phone and ask him If I could talk to officer Brooks and he said that he wasn't there at the moment and he started talking about a debt that I don't know of..he said that I owe 250.00 from a company and when I asked which company he couldn't even tell me..according to him since I did not pay the amount of 250.00, i now owe them a total of 1,250.00..Knowing that I don't owe a 250.00 loan, i suspected that it was a scam..I searched the number in google and I got this page showing that if you got a call from 8132834343 and it's a legal matter, it is a scam..the indian guy called back and since I know that it is a scam, I told him directly that this is a scam and that they are already known in the internet..harrasing people and messing up everyones life..he immediately hung up the phone and said see you in court..remember this number and be careful.....don't just believe everything that you hear..be resouceful!!thanks to this page...

has called and told me that I was being sue for over 5,000 dollars. told me that I was going to go to jail along with my sister and cousin. I filed a complaint with the FTC and Attorny Gen. and the Department of Commerce. when they called I told them this and they kept calling back, any suggestions on how to get them to STOP calling.

My 26 yr old, unemployed Daughter has been getting these.  We got a credit Bureau and there was nothing on there that she owed.  I talked to them and "Shane" wouldn't give me any info.  They don't fall for threats.  They said they would have the police pick her.  She suffers from Anxiety, so it wasn;t a good weekend.  My Wife, Other Daughter, and Fried have all received calls.  The two were told they were Guarantors and had to pay.  She remembers applying for a Christian Pay Day Loan Program but didn't go thru with it.  These guys don't sound like Christians!  The Minnesta Atty. Gen. Office said good luck!

I received a voicemail from this guy couldn't understand  his name because he was talking with a heavy accent. He told me to call him back on 813-283-4343 right away. I called him back and gave him my name he said he would be right back he had to pull up my case. This right there caught my attention because I have not talked to this friend in about a year and I never signed for anything and I have never even taken out a payday loan. This guy was very rude and demanding and if he calls again I am reporting him to whoever. Do not give these people any money. I don't know how they got my name and my ex-friends name but this is a joke. They can't file legal action against me if they don't have my signature on anything. THIS IS A SCAM!!

Hi, I am tx_cafarrell's friend, she is suppose to be my reference they are talking about.

I started getting calls at 11:00, received one about every 15 minutes until after 1:00 even after I told them not to contact me as I was at work.

They started with we are downloading a affidavit and that officers would be at more door on Monday. "Pffttt..." told them to quit being so dramatic. I asked what it was for - would not tell me and hung up. I called the number given 813-283-4343 and got a voice mail. Ten minutes later they were calling me back. Started again with the same speil that I was in legal trouble and that officers would be at my door. He gave his name as Jack Smith and would not let me talk. I asked for a supervisor, who I was "supposadly" transfered to, his name was Josh Smith.

I finally got something about a default payday loan and they even gave me a date of when I took out this loan. I ended up hanging up the phone on him. He called me back, so I asked for another supervisor, his name was Don something, when I tried to pin him down on date of loan, he told me he did not know. Anyways I hung up on him and he called my office, called me a criminal and wanted to speak my supervisor. Wich I transfered him to my supervisor he then told my supervisor that he was not and when finally convinced that he was my supervisor the caller asked him to hang up.

They then called my friend tx_cafarrell, and harrassed her. These people are scary they had the last for of my social, my e-mail, my work and cell numbers and the name of the company I work for.

I received a phone call from this number stating I was in a legal mess due to me being a reference on a friends account for a payday loan. Once I told them I was calling the cops to file harrassment charges they stopped calling. I was told by the police officer to try and lie my way around getting a name and verifiable number to contact them back. This would be the only way to stop these habeebs from calling innocent people and trying to make quick money with the scheme they have going!!!!
