Another "Bud Fox" call today, here in New Jersey! Never leaves who he is specifically or the company name. Why would anyone just call someone back without knowing why they called in the first place. Especially someone you think or know is from a collection agency.
I only deal with the person or company I owe money too not these rude obnoxious people.
I actually requested a statement outlining what I owe from this Hunter-Warfield, as the amount seems to change, and of course there is never a reply or response. I might have paid them what I owed by now but they cant seem to reply or honor a simple request.

The *******idiots keep calling my cell phone, Carla is her name.  My old apartment complex told me I didn't owe anything for leaving early, now they have reneged on their info, so they lied to me.  They say I owe them $1500, I told them it would be a cold day in hell before they ever got there money!!!!  You don't tell a good tenant that you owe money.  I offered to borrow the money on good faith before I left, to pay what I owed,  they were insistent stating I didn't owe the money, needless to say the young lady that told me that was fired the next day!

This number is apparently from a company called Hunter-Warfield and they self-describe themselves as revenue recovery specialists, which is fancy way of saying collection agency.  Their web site states they specialize in revenue recovery in funeral care, commercial, and multi-family industries and claim to have the highest performance rate.  So, if you get a call, then you own money to one of their clients or they are calling your friends, co-workers, and relatives - whomever they can find - to collect money that is owned.

Typically collection agencies purchase contracts for pennies on the dollar and then make a profit on what they can collect in excess of the debt that is owned.  In my personal experience I have sold bad debt to collection agencies for $0.10 to $0.20 on the dollar.

A person describing himself as Bud Fox called one of my relatives.  So, Mr. Fox or whatever his real name is, probably used illegal methods to obtain my relatives phone number; we will never know and prosecuting such a petty crime would be very tedious and expensive as compared to the actual crime.

Bud Fox was the name of one of the fictional characters in the movie Wall Street played by Charlie Sheen.  Therefore, it seems highly unlikely that Bud Fox is the real name of the caller and they are starting out with a lie - just like a con artist.

The best way to get back is to a) pay your debt to the original payee while b) getting the original payee to agree, in advance, to accept your payment or original debt owned.  That way the dubious collection agency spent money (operating expense) to collect a debt on pure speculation with no chance of ever receiving any money (net operating loss) for their work.  If you cannot pay, then you will continue to get calls for a long time.  And, if you end up paying the collection agency, get an agreement established in advance before you send a payment; but, there are many complaints that claim they do not live up to the their agreements.  It appears it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to trust this firm, which is why I highly recommend you come to terms with the original payee.

It is sign of the current times and this company has carved out a niche business to earn a profit from the inability of people to pay their bills, which is obviously legal.  But, how do these people sleep at night?  I am sure they would tell you: very well.  But, I doubt they do not tell their own spouses about what they specifically do or, moreover, how they do their jobs.

Got two goofy messages at my work phone from this number.  Voice says's it's Bud Fox and he's looking for ****.  He's not asking for me.  He's "looking" for someone he thinks works here at my company.  Called the number back and get an unidentified female voice who says that Mr. Bud Fox is working with "another" client.  Well I'm no client, nor am I inclined to help this idiot find someone's work number here.

I got a call from this number and I didn't pick up. They left a message stating that it was Reed Silverman and he had a decision to make so I decided it sounded important and decided to call back. Well turns out the carpet in my old apartment had to be replaced due to damages. The bill is over $1500. I explained to him this is the first time I have heard of this I was on a 15 minute break at work and I needed to get back to my parents house where I now live to go over some documents. Well he very rudely told me I signed a legally binding contract and I know I owe the money and need to pay or my wages will be garnished. I then tell him I will deal with anyone but him when I call back later and hung up on him. Well I get back to my parents house and walk in the door and guess what..... Mr. Reed Silverman is in my parents living room giving my mother the best rogering anyone has ever given her. I couldn't look away. My mother seemed so pleased and full of joy while Reed Silverman slammed it on home, sprayed his load all over her back while staring directly into my eyes, punched me in the face, and then left my house. This was a week ago and I haven't heard back from him since.

Agreed...names more like Silverfish. He's nothing but a simple peon underling in a cube pecking out leftover scraps for his vulture superiors. No need to bother with such a loser.

Yeah...thats the name he gives but who knows if its his real name. This guy is a real jerk. best thin to do is not to answer his calls or return them. Simply don't discuss the matter with them. These collectors are guns for hire for certain apt. complex companies who tend to prey on students, young people and their parents. Deal with the corporation they represent direct so they don't get paid.

The name of the company is Hunter Warfield.  They do collections for apartment complexes.  They are rude, disrespectful, and heartless.  Avoid doing business with them if you can.  Of course if you owe a creditor who is one of their clients, you're stuck dealing with them.  If I were the owner fo a multi-tenant dwelling, I would search far and wide to find someone else to do my debt collections.  These people are insufferable and have made me vow to never ever have anything to do with Trimarchi Management (Jefferson Park Apartments in Irving, TX is one of their properties) just to reduce the chances that I might ever have to have any dealings with Hunter Warfield.  Tis company is horrible; I dont' know how any of them sleep at night.

received a call from a Reed Silverman asking me to return this call immediately and to let it be noted and recorded that a decision would be made with or without my input sounded very formal but I am not calling back because I think it is bogus considering he did not Identify what company he was with. My friend works with the FBI so I will just let him check it out!
