2 days in a row there have been 18 calls from two different 813 area codes.  Who can stop these things?

Just received 6 calls from this number. - No Sound, No Response, No beep- that they are trying to send a fax.  Tried calling this number to have them stop and it says this number is disconneted. How do I file a complaint

6/15/12 this is an update to the post I made earlier. When 813-290-1108 called my house again, I unplugged the phone and plugged my fax into the line to see what would arrive.

It was a 2 page fax from WellCare Health Plans, WellCare of Georgia. I called the main # 813-290-6200 and held on until a customer service rep answered the phone. I told him I had a fax from WellCare with a persons pharmacy order and DOB, etc and I was sure this was a violation of the HIPPA laws. I threatened to call my local TV station to have them cover the story so he connected me to a lady in the Medical Dept by the name of Georgeen Egelston. I told her the story. She looked up the persons ID# and said it was a Pharmacy fax and she called WellCare of GA and had a Jenny Perlis in Atlanta 770-913-2100 call me back.

The faxes are coming from a Fax Server - the numbers they apparently are calling may be old physician office fax numbers according to Jenny Perlis. Anyway IF you get this fax call again, and if you live in GA you need to contact Jenny Perlis at 770-913-2100  to get your number removed from their large pharmacy database.

If I do get another one of these calls I am calling my local TV station.

Yep same thing and we have an UNLISTED phone number, its a land line they are dialing.
I can't believe we can't get the telephone companies to do something about these jokers

Friggin fax machine number ! Calls every ten minutes! Wtf???

My caller ID showed "FLORIDA". It is a fax tone, got  so far 3 calls from them and keeps coming.

Not sure if there is a link, but around the same time, I got 5 calls from 813-456-1000 and caller ID showed "NAME NOT FOUND".

813 is the area code of Tampa, so these two callers might be associated.

I keep getting calls from this D@** fax at various times of the day and night.

Started calling first thing this morning and hasn't stopped.

Constant and annoying this caller is... Stop its spread of evil we must. Has called me about 7 times then switches to another number once i block it. using black list to block the number on my android

This is getting annoying they keep calling yet i cant call back. Im using blacklist on my Android to block but they call from another number not shortly after that.

There is a call from this number 813-290-1108, and the message left is fax machine beep. When I blocked the number it still shows the "out of area" caller ID.

Has called me 2 times within 10 minutes using different numbers. Leaves messages. Stupid fax machine! Calls me every month 5-6 times over 2-3 days. Just called me at 1am and I am pissed! Has anyone figured out who this is?

This number started calling me yesterday insesently. I use TrapCall on my iPhone bc I was recently dealing with a stalker & thought this was the same person but obviously not. TrapCall was only able to identify that this is a Florida number, no name though. They also call me from an UNKNOWN number & two other area code 813 numbers. It's making me nuts. When I answer I get the same beep repeatedly as everyone else described. I've tried repeatedly to block the number but no luck.

This is the third 813 area code phone number this week that has been calling and sounds like a fax is being sent - pissed off!

I am too, it's driving me nuts!!! I get 20-30 calls a day starting at 6am-5pm
