0110000000000 keeps calling my cell. They never leave a message and I don't answer it.  I have at least 4 regular scammer's calling saying that I owe on cash advance loans that I do not owe. They vary anywhere between $200 to 600.00, varisous phone numbers, different names and different threats. They say I owed Cash Advance and United States Advance. But the number listed hasn't left any message...guess the are waiting for me to answer...not going too...haha  I wish they would all stop calling me.  It is annoying and frustrating. I have checked my credit report and clarity report and nothing shows up. All they are wanting is for someone to feel scared and pay them $$$ and they will say anything to get $$$. I am not paying a dime!! And I hope no one else falls for their scam.   Keep posting the information and hope it helps someone else.

I was also told that I owed a payday company money (cash advance usa) I called cash advance usa and told them what was going on. The woman told me they were getting several calls regarding this scam. She said she told her boss about it and he has yet to do nothing. He shrugged it off.

They claimed I was being sued for an outstanding loan from an Internet company.

With very broken middle eastern/indian accent a man identified himself as Victor Scott from A-something Consolidation Services. He said he had "a very important legal issue" to discuss regarding my friend Phillip ??no idea?? and his social security number. A Finance Co. was "pressing charges regarding a misappropriation of funds" that occurred while applying for an internet loan. "During this fraud he mentioned your name as a guarantee." Before anything happens to me or my friend I should call or have him call. Don't know this Phillip-person. I never answer calls with blocked numbers so this was the message on voicemail. Not going to respond unless they continue to call.

I received a similar call today 12-08-09 from a Bryan Smith he said he was from the legal department of ACF in Tampa, Fl.  He refused to give any company information said that his system was down and would call back in one hour.  Than Neil Tom called my sister and said I took out an internet loan and had done some misappropriation of funds to the financial company.

I got the same thing on 12/1 - without going into the details -my call was similar to the calls mentioned above- He stated to have my brother contact him and he was with Cash Advance USA - my brother has never dealt with this company.  The guy had a very heavy Indian accent -- very rude - I hung up but I want to know what we can do about this.

Received a message at work from Richard Wilson (sounded Arabic) claiming that I needed to return his call immediately.  He claimed that my social security number has an affidavit about a loan.  Seems like a scam.

I also was getting harrassing calls threatening legal action for defaulting on a payday loan back in 12/2008. Peter Jackson and Jack Austin both sound indian. I received a call the other night by unknown caller who left a message stating that he was on the computer and found this to be a scam and told me if I had given any money to give no more. He said that these people were buying personal information from payday companies. I have already contacted the District Attorney's office in new york and will contact the Attorney General's office next maybe the
FBI. It appears that this scam is way to big to ignore. Everyone needs to get together and see that these people get jail time.

How can I block this number from my phone? Whoever this is calls at least 3-4 times a day. He has an accent and I can't understand half of what he says, except that I owe money - which I don't!!!!

His same guy keeps calling me at work several times a day. I am just lucky I am the one who answers most of the time. He called just today 6 times in a row!!! I was at lunch and co-workers had to be subjected to his rude self. He first called and said he was officer James ?? Then Mark Forrester then Roger Wood and of course how could I forget he posed as the supervisor Shawn...LOL. To think I almost feel for this crap!! The only thing is now all the harassing calls to my place of employment. Oh forgot he even said he was going to place charges against my employer.

Received a call from a restricted number, first was Zachary Taylor, pretty sure that was one of our presidents, called back to see what they wanted said in march 2009 I took at a payday loan for an unspecified amount from cash advance usa and they were here to settle out of court or to take my too court. Having never applied or received a loan at that time I asked them to mail me all the proof of the loan they said it would be a breech of contract for them to do so So I let them Know any further information would have to come through an attorney

My parents and sister also got called by this so-called company.  They threatened my sister to the fact that they would make things rough on her.  They were very rude if any questions were asked.  Now when I received the call the number that came over was all zeros,but I did ask for the number and that's the same as all of these people.  I am also reporting this to the Florida Attourney General's office.  If there are enough issues someone will look into it.

"Robin Smith" This man called an employee at where i Work ALOT. I am the supervisor, and i took the phone call and advised him this needed to stop, He got very agressive with me, and slipped up giving me his True Cell phone number. I have Identified it as a Phone registered to the Willimantic Connecticut Area. These people are a joke and need to pack their bags, and go back to India! They have called me several times, and claim they are pursuing legal action against me for various financial fraudulent activities. Just hit *77 right after you hang up the phone on them. Feel free to tell them also they can go f*&K themselves and use the towel on their head to wipe my rear end with!

I receive another call today on my cell phone from "Kevin Wright" I had recieved calls on 12/08/09 at that time he said his name was "Bryan Smith".  They have called my sister and my boss.  The scary part is they have my SSN and bank account info as well as personal phone numbers.  I have contacted the FL State Attorney where the calls are coming from and the VA State Attorney.  Their calls are now coming in as 303.

I just received a call from Mark.....he sure does bother, if you dont answer, he will call 9 times. And when you do answer, he harrasses you. I hate it. How did he get my number.

These people are relentless!!!  They are telling me that I have fraudulent activity against my name and social # and they are calling from the legal department.  If I dont return their phone calls they can only wish me good luck.  I contacted an attorney regarding this matter.  They said the company ACS does not exist.  He has tried suing them before since they violate and break every debt colleciton law and he cannot physically locate the company.  All the addresses are PO Boxes.  He said it is a scam and they are tying to threaten and harrass you into paying them money for a bill that doesnt exist.  He said they are trying to scare you and they love to hear the fear.  So he told me to tell them off and say I am not paying them a dime and they are not a real company and to proceed with any further legal action because they do not have any authority to cause real harm.  I am just ignoring them rather than giving them the satisfaction that they are bothering me.  I just ignore their calls.  They call about 1 time a day and leave a message.  Last week it was constant all day every day so its gettting better. I dont understand how they can get away with this type of harrassment without getting in trouble.  There has to be a way to stop them!!!!

Received a call from this number saying I owe money.  Who are these people?  They keep calling and calling and saying the same thing.  There is no way to trace them or stop them from calling.

these scammers from ACS and American Law Divisions, etc.,  are obviously successful in victimizing those that are less informed. i've had a few phone calls from these scammers recently and they're no different from the calls you've received. they sound legit, having all your personal datas, and the bottom line is, you supposedly owe a payday advance from maybe "cash Advance USA " and they would like nothing better than to settle it out of court and would you please forward your payments starting with the information of your debit card and this is the amount xxx that they are willing to accept in periodical payments. same story same b.s. it's obvious these mideastern accent individual uses american names and they have so many and their phone # are phonies and rigged. Don't be surprised to be talking to the same guy from  a different source, phone number or a collecting agency. He wears many hats but same voice. Next time they come calling, just fish him in to a nice conversation and at the end, give him your piece of mind. with all the NSA, CIA, FBI technology out there, i am hopeful that there is a contract out to nail and jail these scums.

Received the same call from a KEVIN SMITH. They said I applied a payday loan over the internet and never paid it back. He said they are the biggest collection agency in the US. So I told him I have never applied for a payday loan, and can they send me documents claiming this. Then he said I would only have to pay 300.00 and they will drop the case against me, all they need is a credit card number, So I told him if I really do owe the money I would pay you, but you have to provide me proper documents first and mail it to me. Then he said they dont have my mailing address, so I hung the phone, coz obviously its a Scam....

Same here. People with a heavy Middle Eastern accent calling my cell, my mom's cell and my sister's cell. Stating similar stories as above. They told my mom and my sister I committed fraud and to protect themselves from legal action, they needed to call back right away. When my mom explained to them, that she had spoken to me and that I had not borrowed any money from Cash Advance USA, they told her, "Oh, but we have her SS# and her address." All they have is the last 4 of my social btw. My mom then told them that if they would send her an invoice verifying the transaction, she would deal with it. They told her thank you maam, and hung up. Never asked her for her address or anything. That was yesterday. Then my sister started getting calls today, and they called her 3 times. They would not give her much info, but finally was able to tell her the transaction took place in July of 2009. Yeah, I am clueless. Tried the BBB website with no luck. I know it is a scam, but short of us changing our phone numbers, I don't know how to get them to stop harrassing us. Oh, and they state they are giving you a final chance to settle the matter. How can that be if this is the first I am hearing about it?

got a call from acs .affidavit consolidation services,the only person who was answering properly a dat time michael anderson. . .he is very much genuine guy . . And he really helped me in resolving the matter out of court house.

Received three calls today, one on my cell and two at my job. I have already contacted the police dpet as these are the same people that have been calling me the last few months and called my brother as well.

I am also receiving phone calls from them stating that I owe money on a internet loan that I DIDN"T take out.  I asked them to produce the documents and then they start talking all fast so that you can't understand them and then they say that the case will be in court and they hang up.  there #'s are 813 319 2653 and 813 319 2656.  I did as the previous people have said and acted like i was calling from an attorney's office and then they get really mad start to curse and hang up.  But this have been doing this also.  I call them with my # blocked and I call them and start asking them personal questions like how long have they been a homosexual ( not that I have anything against homosexuals), and do they kiss each other at night. this makes them SOOOOO mad and they hang up. Some of there names they go by are, Mark McLain, Ethan Parker, Steve Carter, Curtis Jackson (isn't that 50cent the rappers real name)  This is hilarious, they hate me, but I don't appreciate them trying to scam $ from me and if anyone has given them money then I feel for you.

Today there was a msg on my machine -- darn I missed the call!!!  Apparently it was a wrong number the call was meant for a Terry Ayres but the msg was clear. I googled the number 8133192653 and saw that it was from those bastard scammers!!!!  I actually got a call from these guys yesterday but the call was from 518-304-1157  I spoke to "officer John Brock" and his supervisor Ronnie Jones -- both with VERY thick indian accents.  They called me regarding a payday loan I never took.  Crappy part I've received a call like this last year!!  Scared the $$it outta me because they had all my info - where I worked, where I banked, the names of my sisters and my SSN!!  After some investigating I found out that it was a scam and reported the number to the BBB, Attorney General office, and the Federal Trade Commission.  I read up on it and found that no one can arrest you for something like this and it is illegal to be threatened and harrassed by these people and if you ask them to provide contact number/info of the company alledging these charges --- they are legally bound to do so!.   When I tried to argue my case with this guy he got billegerant.  When I told him that I knew it was a scam, he said just wait for 6:00 and I'll see he meant business when I'm arrested at my house.  Needless to say.. no one showed up at my house at 6:00.    My advice to you (also it's what I read) do not verify any information they have on you.  Tell them you know that it's a scam they are running and report the number and the name of their company (they told me that they weren't a company but a legal firm -- totally bogus) and report it at least to the police and the federal trade commission website.   Good luck!

I'm getting messages from this number also.  Indian accent, says his name is Steve Hanes.  He says virtually the same thing everyone else has, that ther's a couirt case against me for failure to pay up on a loan.  I've been getting these calls from these types of people for the past ten months now, and they have also threatened to send the police after me.  Guess what??  They's never showed up yet, and I've never gotten anything from any courthouse saying anything of the sort, which I would have if this was a legal lawsuit.  THIS IS A SCAM, SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!

I was sucked into the same scam and was behind on a few payday loans.  I actually started the process to pay them, but then woke up and realized that I never received any paperwork.  I was lucky because they gave me the Pay Day loan they were supposedly representing.  I called the Pay Day loan company and they said that I was fine and that I was scammed.  I was lucky because I never sent the scammers the signed fax they wanted.  Instead, I canceled my debit card that same moment and called the scammers back and told them they were full of s**t.  I reported them to the Pay Day company to investigate.  I occassionally get phone calls at work and home and I basically tell the scammers where to go.  They call me back and let me know they did not appreciate my attititude.  I told them too bad and I knew what they were up to and reported them!  I need to figure out a more calm way to handle them because at any given time they can get revengeful and not sure what they are capable of.  Espcially since I saw the news report on what happened to family man and a Verizon Customer Service person yesterday.  I hope this reply has been of help to you.  Whatever you do don't give them any info.  Rather, try to figure out who they are representing.  They say they representative hundreds and not one particular company.  All you need is for them to give you one, so you can call the Pay Day company and report them.  Otherwise, whatever phone number they give you, report it to the BBB or Federal Trade Commission.

Yeah i got the same call from a guy with a heavy accent sounds indian or middle easter. But he asked me if my internet connection was working. I told him i didnt have internet and he said that they had files on me that i purchased some internet connection. I asked them what name they had on the file but they didnt reply. It is obviously that they are trying to scam people.

Yea I got the voicemail  message last week about some legal actions that they were gonna be put on me and to returnt the call asap if not good luck and let god be with you he had a middle eastern accent and I think his name was something wilson it was hard to understand I keep asking him questions but he never really anwsered them he knew my adrress bank name where I worked and the last 4 of my ss# kind of freaked me out  he had some referances and the names he gave me I didnt know this people he finally got tired of talking to me and told me he was gonna send the paperwork to the courts and good luck he told me to call him back at 209 243 0110 has any one else had this call back number????
