Someone trying to sell light bulbs to your building maintenance people.

A guy named "David" called from this number asking to speak to the General Manager.  He said he was the "lighting guy".  When I asked what the purpose of his call was, he said it's about our lighting.  I said, did somebody call you about our lighting, does it need to be replaced, is there something wrong with it?  He insisted on talking to the General Manager.  I told him the GM is out of the country for a month.  He said he will call after a month.  I told him "Good luck with whatever he's trying to sell"..What an a**!

Wanted to know if I still ordered light bulbs and wanted to send me a Christmas food package.  He said it would be a while before he made it out to see me so he would put me down for a case of bulbs.  I told him I walk across the street to get my bulbs as our local electrical supply warehouse is just across.  He was polite but was pushy.

I had Ray Davis call, he asked for a specific person ( our "manager") when I told him he was a way from his desk, he insisted I page him. He said he's been paged many times, funny we don't have a paging system. I told him, "he's left the building." He insisted I give him his cell phone number. I said, "I'm not at liberty to do that." He kept insisting & I kept telling him the same thing. He then said,"Well you are at liberty for no good."
If you want my business or to talk to anyone in the company, this is not the way to do it. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB since I have the name of the company now.

These creeps will call and call even if you ask to be taken off their list. Selling Building maintenance and bulbs and whatever they can to get someone to say okay so that they can bill you for something.

Yea, it is. I get them often. It is fun though to mess with them.

It is a scam. Just hang up or throw them to the answering machine.

this jerk keeps calling our company too.  won't take the voice mail, and always rings me back wanting our maintenance guys cell number.  i not-so-politely say no thanks and hang up on him, but he always calls back!

Received a call from this number today but I did not answer because I did not recognize the number.  No message left.

I got a call a couple of months ago from someone named John at this company.  He tried to tell me that our company had gone "green" and they were suppose to be our new lighting vendor.  He tried to sell me ballasts and offered the NFL jerseys for me and my spouse.  He was very pushy and sent me a product that I didn't order.  When I tried to return it, they wanted a huge restocking fee.  I called several times and ended up shipping it back at my cost with no restocking fee.  I will never do business with this company.

Same as above.... "Mr johnson says he sells light bulb trying to "give away" a knife a cooler or a gift card.  I even told him I know this is a scam... this guys are just idiots.

Just a "jerk" trying to shoehorn his way through me and sell his light bulbs. (probably junk bulks at a ridiculously high price).  Best tactic: Hang up on the jerk!

calls and acts like they know someone in the company by saying..."I need to talk to whoever does the building maintenance...who is that now?" Anyone familiar with where this caller comes from?

Some guy named Chip, a real @$$ tries to get passed the 1st person on the phone by being a bully. From the name of the company, he is trying to sell light bulbs. This guy couldn't sell band-aids at a train wreck.

They called me twice and acted like they've done business with me before. She used the same line both times trying to get me to buy lightbulbs. NO THANKS!

Just got a call from a "Steven" from the company, "Commercial" who asked about who is in charge of maintenance. I put him on hold for less than 20 seconds to see what would happen and of course, he hung up.

Same thing, he asked if he could talk to head of maintence and when i put him on hold he hung up!!! hmm..i am thinking i should call back..has anyone done that yet?

I just received a similar call...trying to send me a cooler with a catalog...I told her no thanks then she said she just wanted to send a catalog...I'm like fine, whatever because I can't stand listening to people whine...then it turned into "I'll also put down xyz amount of florescent bulbs"...I said "I've never ordered from you before, why would I do so now?" Then she said she'd send me a small box of something else. That's when I really let her have it. Her response was, "well didn't you say you wanted the cooler?" I proceeded to tell her she was full of BS and then slammed the phone down. Whatever you do IGNORE this number!!!

I just got a call from a guy from this number wanting to speak with whoever's in charge of maintenance these days.  When I told him it was the same person it's always been, he then asked for the phone number of our building manager.  Since I work for a tenant, and we just lease from this building, I told him I didn't have that information.  He got huffy and told me to ask someone.  He said he was James.  When I asked for his last name, he said "from Commercial."  I wanted to tell him that was a goofy last name.  When I briefly put him on hold to look up the number (yes, I was actually going to do it), he hung up.  He was awfully rude for a run-of-the-mill phone solicitor!

VERY Rude salesman - INSISTING to be trasfered to "maintenance guy" or the person in charge of light bulbs.  Acted like I should know him - wouldn't say why he was calling or leave number.

Just had a call from this number. He had 2 names of our maintenance team and when I told him they are on the floor working on equipment he wanted me to page them, I told him they couldn't be disturbed. Then he wanted their business cell number and then he tried to get into purchasing. Each time I put him on hold and though he would hang up he didn't he was very persistent. He wanted to talk to them about internal lighting.

Received a call from this number asking for the person who buys lightbulbs and lighting supplies.  Said his name was Mike - the lighting/lightbulb guy.  I asked if that was the name of the company.  He said no, it was Commercial Lighting.  Immediately sniffed this as a scam.  He continued to press to be put into someone's VM.  When I said I'd be happy to take his number and pass it along, he hung up.  At least he wasn't rude . . . this time.

Had this call a few times to my direct line. I see it on the caller ID and let it go to VM but no message is left. The MO is they hang up then call back on our general office number, identify themselves as Freddy from Commercial asking for me. The front calls me and I tell them to route to VM but they don't leave a message. If it was a solid business with a good product they wouldn't handle it so greasy.

This guy that called me tried 5 times to send me light bulbs. When I finally said "for the last time, I don't need any bulbs", thats when he hung up on me. He was very pushy. He gives the inpression that the bulbs would not cost me any thing. After pressing him he finally said there was a charge for them.

Keep getting calls from this number at our business asking for a particular employee...man is very rude, will not leave his name or a message.

Received a call from someone asking for the building maintenance.  Sounds in the background sounded like he was in a bar or somewhere with loud music and tv going.  Told him we lease our space.  We received 5 calls in a span of 1/2 hour.  The last time, he asked for our property manager.  I told him i didn't have that information and hung up.  From other comments I would say very shady!

Kelly from "Commercial Lighting" called but would not leave a message............?????

Got a message routed to my voice mail.  Acted like he knew me as a friend.  Even called me "buddy" and "Hey, man!"  Stated his name was Al Hightower from some chemical company.  Didn't say want he wanted but from the "good time/bar sounds" in the background, I can't imagine it is legit.  Oh, I was to call him back at a different number - 866.285.4448 x206.  "Thanks man!"
