Received 2 calls from this number.  Both times, an arrogant a** of a man was on the other end. Tried to ask for me by name, but got it wrong. He used half e-mail address and half real name.  I think this is connected to a virus that I just struggled with on my computer.

They call me 3 or 5 times by day!! I said anything, in French in English today she have said, I call you tomorow and she have flushed the line!! I just want a Peace!

They call looking for my brother all the time. Don't know why!!!!!!

I played along until they get to the credit card part (apparently their records show that I have a husband... which I don't). Their records "show" that I check into hotels with my VISA, and I said, no, I don't have a credit card. "Oh, well it must be mastercard then".  I said I don't use one period, and she told me to have a nice day :)  How kind of her.

I got this call and keep getting this call two times a day. The last time I answered, I got a woman all happy and cheerful telling me that I won a trip to Florida. Free! It's frustrating, I keep getting it!

I received a call from 813-374-0165 offering me a free vacation to Disney + second vacation to Daytona Beach completely free....they refferd to a contest that I did enter via a website last week,I could tell the website was wrong as I could not get out of it as it keept asking me what type of free products I wanted.
The person on the phone said he was Steven Clark operator #2297 and was super energetic trying to get me excited...then Sally was the confirmation & shipping person and was extremelly rude...They keep saying that Disney world was offering these types of vacations free to get references!!! like they need any. They confirmed all info. I entered on contest and asked if I was married they also kept asking for my expiry date of a visa as they were saying they were able to get a credit card number in my name through a direct link they are using! kept asking for me to confirm what kind of credit card I own and asking for expiry date.

I am one of you who gets annoying phone calls and I recognize all these numbers. Yes, they've been calling me over few dozens of times. I live in Canada so I have reported to RCMP the Canadian Police as well to the City Police. Have you all reported this to Police. Do not simply think these are annoying callers, those are well organized scamming crime of stealing peoples identities and then money. Be aware. It is our responsibility to stop the crime, and the first step is to report to the police.

My sister once told me that she finally got rid of an obscene caller by screaming her loudest scream directly into the houthpiece of her telephone when the heavy-breathing pervert at the other end was listening. He never called her back again.

For the last 8 months, I have been getting phone calls from 1-866-747-5717 and from other weird numbers as well but not answering them and wondered who they were and why they were calling me every day. Their number (not their name though)registered on my call display so I thought I might try to "google" this particular phone number and lo and behold this website confirmed my suspicions that they were up to no good. Today, I got a call (this time from 1-866-520-6403). Again, I googled and this page came up warning others about these people. Although I have an unpublished, unlisted number these people have managed to get my telephone number and continue calling me even though I don't answer. They are persistent and sneaky (by using several different phone numbers)so please be warned not to deal with them or give ANY information to them. You have the right to hang up on any one who harasses or bothers you.
NOTE: This is how I think they got my telephone number. Late December 2007 or January 2008 I responded to an online survey with regard to my pet dog that appeared under a well-known used goods (buy and sell)website. I love that website as I have acquired many good second-hand articles from it. The survey was under an ad for Researcher conducting a University study (on dog aggression) and looking for respondents. Being the nice person and dog lover I was and having adopted(rescued)my dog from a Indian reservation (in my province many dogs that are from Indian reservations are neglected and beaten) I responded to the survey and listed my phone number. I then received a phone call from a woman who told me she was going to send me a gift for doing so and wanted my address. I told her that I didn't need a gift but she kept on insisting. I too insisted I didn't want a gift and did not give her my address. I told her to donate it to someone else. A short time later, I BEGAN RECEIVING ALL KINDS OF CALLS FROM ALL OVER THE USA. (I live in Canada) IN FACT, JUST NOW I GOT A CALL FROM 269-768-2408. MY CALLER DISPLAY SHOWS THIS CALL AS BEING FROM the state of MICHIGAN. I suspect my phone number was sold to various telemarketing companies all over the United States (I think it's illegal in Canada to do this) as my call display shows many different phone numbers-all long distance and all from the USA-to me. As an ex-banker who has now gotten a little smarter online about giving ANY personal information, I am hoping that others can avoid this breach of privacy.
Again, please be careful about releasing any personal information to anyone though I know that these people can get it using sneaky ways.

This number keeps calling my cel phone. Not sure how they got the number? I haven't answered as I don't recognize the phone number. Tried calling it back just to see who it was. All i get is a recording "we're sorry. your call did not go through". Obviously a scam

I got the same call from 1-813-374-0156.  She kept asking for my husband by his first name.  I told her 3 times that he wasn't available.  When I asked who she was, she asked if I was his wife & then asked 3 times what my name was.  I wouldn't tell her & kept asking for her name.  She would only say Stacey.  After she asked my name for the 3rd time, I just hung up.  We can't figure out how she got our number - it's listed under my maiden name!

A guy called me from 1-866-747-5717 and 1-866-520-6403 telling me how I win vacation package and how he needs my credit card info to complete the process I just hang up and they kept calling over and over again.  How can I get rid of them?

This number keeps calling saying I have won some kind of vacation package, then asking for credit card information. They are very rude!! I have asked them multiple times to stop calling me, and to take me off the calling list, to no avail. They have called me from several numbers including:

They called my cellphone! how the heck did they get that number? i think my phone was off when they called, but i still got a text telling me the number of who called... who is it?
