Text saying RIFCU notice: Your card starting with **** has been deactivated please call....Text said it was from  502  and the numbers it stated are not any card I have.

Same here, Just ignore it. most like likely it will not happen again. Just another phishing scam...

I think they are phishing, will try to steal your credit card numbers.
Don't call them back!

just got the same message a few minutes ago looks like a phishing scam to me since I got rid of that card years ago.
