Yesterday someone left same note on my car funny thing is my car is old and beat up. They even text me back with god bless you. Its a hispanic man. Scam all the way.

Same thing in Orlando!

I found this note -hand written- on my cars windshield. Said "I would like to buy your car. please call me. Leslie" with this phone number and 813-260-4838

Just had it happen in orlando florida. Someone left the fake note on my car that was chilling in front of the house. Good thing i just bought a dog for the idiots plotting to steal my stuff.

happening here in lake mary same number from leslie was found on windshield on cars in driveway and on street had second number 813-830-8685

i received an index card on my frontier also with this # and name 8134175471/8308685 in the carrollwood area

Such a common scam - the same happens everywhere - I had a car for sale in Germany- yeah, Germany, and I put it in a website called Auto 24 - like Craig's List for cars and I got the same thing - "My agent will be there with a check for 17K (?5000 more than I was asking for) and I'm supposed to "make change for them" and give them my car AND the ?5K??  So I lose my car and give them $7K on top? yeah, right... Yo mama! or better yet Dein Mutter! MoFo...

I received a message from leslie @813 830 8685/813 417-5471. name named my car make and model and left this in my mail box in wellswood

Found the same message on my car today. I will be reviewing the security cameras to see who left it.

I too received a hand-written card from "Leslie." My car had literally been without a license plate for less than 24 hours before I got this card on my windshield. Definitely not calling. Sketchy mofos. Will be contacting the police to see who this is!! And also going to search on Tampa's Craiglist for my car. Wondering if they are going to steal my vehicle and then sell it for parts. You never do know!!

This same message was left on my car on the 15 of August as well!! I'm rather upset to know that someone is roaming our neighborhoods and messing with private property! I will be reporting this to the Police since we have had breakins in my area in the past!

we just got the SAME thing here in E. Orlando!  Creepy.  taking to the police station, as well.

Beware of the scam where they pay with a check or electronic funds transfer for more than the agreed price and you're supposed to Western Union some cash back to the buyer. Their check or funds transfer will be bad and you'll lose the money you would have sent them.

I have the same card on my car from leslie except this one is hand written not typed.  exact same numbers too.  (813) 417-5471 and (813) 463-6131.  Anyone know why this is showing up everywhere?

Found photocopied card on my car today w/this number.  Says Leslie wants to buy my car.  Found same number on Craigslist and other sites, but was used for selling cars not purchasing them.
