I was called with a number from Las Vegas (702-722-5410). I listened to the recording, and yes I am on the state and federal call list, (like that really makes a difference) so I pressed 0 and waited. Some guy answered but I was right at the end of the women's US vs Canada hockey game. I said sorry, you gotta call back and I gave him my number ( don't care, I like messing with them.) About 10 min. I get a call from 318-496-4450. I didn't answer (game in overtime) The next call came up with 813-886-7868 as Travel Link Corp.   Answered told him he would have to call back. Hockey game in overtime. He laughed and said sure. Can't wait fore him to call back. The first thing I'll tell him is "You won't mind me recording this conversation will you?" That is always a pause moment. I ask for a call back number in case we get disconnected. I listen to the pitch and I am the biggest dumb a**. I have to ask to repeat 3 or 4 times. In the middle of it I have to go to the bathroom. (Tell them I had some greens and they give me the runs.) Let them wait at lease 10 minutes. If they are still there then we have to go all through it again. I tell them I have memory problems and that is the reason or the recording.  I have to let the dogs out. Dogs in. I call and call for one of them. (I have no dogs). There is someone at the door, work is calling, hold on. "So your selling what again?" Keep them on the line till they hang up on you! You have their call back number. Call him back. apologize for being disconnected. Call him till he wont answer or hangs up when he answers. Hey, have fun with them. You should hear some of my recordings. Should put some on you tube sometime. Thanks for telling me all this. I can't remember s***. Who is this again. I love it....only in America!!!

Spending hours on line griping about them does not stop this.

Telemarketing has to be stopped. Hanging up on them does not work, yelling at them does not work, writing long diatribes on line does not work.
I love talking to telemarketers, I try to keep them on the phone as long as possible. I start doing the dishes, cooking, cleaning my house. That way they are not wasting my time.  I pretend I am interested in their products, they won't hang up if they thing there is a possibility of making a buck.  I have talked to some for over an hour! I got lots done. I like to think I am saving hundreds of other people from getting a phone call from them because they are talking to me.

It is important for us to waste their time, because that is the only weapon we have against them. If enough people did this they could not stay in business. They would not be able to find the suckers amoungst the people like me. Don't do them the favor of swearing at them or hanging up. That is how they screen people They rely on people cursing an hanging up. Waste their time and end telemarketing forever.

The people that call are from call centers, they feed leads to the businesses. When I pretend to sign up for their services maybe the businesses have to pay a fee for the lead. So we can cost them money by pretending to accept the service. This is the only thing they understand, if telemarketing wasn't profitable they would not do it. People can stop telemarketers simply by talking to them. I make appointments withe alarm companies and they come out and I waste even more of their time.
So much so that they have put me on the do not call list.

Do your civic duty, talk to these people as long as you can hold them on the line, use a cordless phone and do the dishes so they don't waste your time. Their time is money, this is the only weapon that will work.

I signed up for do not call, but this number keeps calling me for vacation.Will post both numbers on do not call again. What a nuisance.

Well, your reporting this number/company to the Do Not Call registry sure helped a lot, didn't it?  We're still getting calls months later.  I'm afraid DNC is just another government agency that takes in a lot of our tax dollars without any accountability as to any success.  I'd rather see the government use the money to develop a device or software to block all these numbers and make it mandatory that all phone companies have it available free to all customers.

I waited thru the message to speak to operator to tell them I'm on "do not call", but when I pressed 0, line clicked and I was disconnected.

Have received calls from this number but don't answer.  Am on the national DNC list.  Why are these people allowed to ignore the list?

I have had a lot of calls from this number..... I am on the Do Not Call   list.   How do they keep doing this and not get reported???   This is just one of about 5 soliciters..  I don't usually answer... they leave no message... and,  if I do answer there is no one there.

I get several calls from this number a week. I too am on the do not call list. I will report them today as soon as I am finish with  a project I am, working on. I do not answer the phone if the telephone number is unfamiliar to me.

This company has called me several times to left a recorded message that I have been chosen for a free 8 day cruise.

ID Caller says Travel Link.  I never subscribed to this company and wonder how they got my number. I did make reservations on line with Airlingus. Are they giving my number away?

The caller ID on this number is TRAVELLINK and the recorded message cites that they are Vacation Services celebrating the opening of a Delray Beach location and that I have been selected to receive a free vacation--an obvious scam.  I have reported this call to the national DO NOT CALL complaint service.  The area code 813 is in Tampa-Hillsborough County Florida area.

They have a new MO.  They tell you that they are a new travel agent in the area and are offering a free cruise if you come in to listen to a 90 minute speel on their agency.  We accepted, then read all this and cancelled.  The internet is a wonderful thing. Thanks for the heads up!

Ok folks, here is some useful info...I finally got in touch with a guy named Mike at Travel Link Corp in Tampa, FL @ 813-889-7000 and got my cell phone number removed from their list.  I am also filing a complaint with the FCC and the Tennessee FRA which is very very strict.  Please Please Please call and harrass them as they are doing everyone and file a complaint against them.  Here is a filing with the FCC from 2010 that states other names that they operate under......

In this Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture ("NAL"), we find that Travel Club
Marketing Inc. ("Travel Club")1 has apparently willfully and repeatedly violated section 227(b)(1) of the
Communications Act of 1934, as amended ("Communications Act" or "Act") and section 64.1200(a) of
the Commission's rules by delivering 185 unsolicited, prerecorded messages to 142 telephone numbers
assigned either to cell phones or residential telephone lines.2 Moreover, in the case of at least one of the
prerecorded calls, Travel Club also apparently violated section 64.1601(e) of the Commission's rules,
requiring that telemarketers transmit caller identification information.3 Based on the facts and
circumstances surrounding Travel Club's apparent violations of the prohibitions against unsolicited,
prerecorded messages, we find that Travel Club is apparently liable for a proposed forfeiture in the
amount of $2,960,000.

They have been leaving me voicemails at work, but now calling my cell phone. I have a SPAM filter, thankfully, but not happy that they have my number...which is on the DO NOT CALL registry. I'm guessing they offer bonuses to people who sell out their friends and family.
