I got a call from 813-425-0935 on my cell phone.  I didn't answer and they left no voice message.

No message.

Caller also asked for my husband by his first name. Also a family business. When I asked to take a message he said no and hung up.

These telemarketers, and other of their ilk, use adaptive/predictive dialers.  When you pick up the phone, and there's a moment of silence and then the caller hangs up, they are fishing for an active fax answer so they can spam you with a junk fax.  They operate illegally in that they do not identify who they are, and they make it very difficult to find information on them.  As Ruth has shown, some good investigative work can pay off.  

It's difficult to fight back, but you can get even, if only just a little bit.

Sign up on Skype for outbound calling.  It's about $8.00 for 3 months of unlimited outbound calling to the U.S. and Canada.  Now, call the number that Ruth provided above.  You won't get a live person, but will be directed to voicemail.  When the recording starts, playback a pre-recorded fax tone into the microphone.  

It's quite fun, really!

Got a call from these jerks this morning asking for my boss by his first name.  The number 813-425-0935 is a trunk line so there is no 411.  I looked them up by the Caller id L&D Marketing and found them on Manta.  Here it is folks call them and complain (or better yet stop by and say HI).

lady called at 3:46 pm, she asked to speak to someone who was not here, I asked her was there any message, she replied no, and I hung up on her.

Received a telephone call on Friday September 21, 2007 at 10:06 a.  At the time of the telephone call I was busying doing some work and did not recognize the caller.   The caller did not leave a voice mail message.

I also got a call to a business number today (September 18) with no message or sound.

called my cell.  they were doing some sort of financial survey.  as soon as i heard survery, i said i wasn't interested.  forgot the name of the co.

Received call at 9:52, when I answered they hung up.  Number is listed as: Type: Land LineProvider: Sbc Long Distance, Llc DBA Sbc Long DistanceLocation: Tampa, FL.

When I called the number back I got a busy signal.

Caller refused to leave number.  I told her not to call back if she wasn't going to leave a message.  She said she'd still call back.  Brainless twit should stick her head up her a** and take a deep breath.

In the case of no info on a 411 search, the number can be one of several secondary lines. For example, a company listing is 123-1234, but 123-1235 and 123-1236 are both lines in that company. The 1235 and 1236 numbers may not be listed with 411.

Also, if an off shore number switches through an on shore number...you guessed it - no 411 info available.

I got a phone call at about 9:00 CDT from 813-425-0935. The woman asked for my husband. I told her he wasn't home and I offered to take a message. She said, "No." and hung up. I checked with 411 and they said that there was no info on that number.

Someone from this number 813-425-0935 called me.  When I picked up my cell phone, they hung up.  When I called the number back, it shows a busy signal.

The caller ID said L & D Market and I didn't recognize it, but when I called the number back the recording said the number had been disconnected or not longer in service.

Just a call on my cell... I was busy and didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.. tried to call back later and all I get is busy signal.

according to google, the area code is Southwest Florida, including Tampa. I don't know anyone there.
