Received a call form Ms. Tory Dixson stating that she's from Royce & Associates and that they were getting ready to file charges against me for a bad payday loan.  They offered three payment options of which none were amounts anyone could probably handle.  Here's what I was told to do by Advance America - payday loan company.  Report this to the FTC1-877-382-4357, go to www.FTC.gov and look up payday loan scam - it's crazy these people are able to obtain all your information like they do but they can.  Then you need to call 1-888-397-3742 and put a 90 day Fraud Alert on your account.  The FTC states DO NOT TALK TO THEM - hang up.  She also stated to have the number blocked.  She also said to look under the Fair Debt Collection Practices located on their website and it should clear up anything these people try to scare you with.

I received a call from 813.444.4516 They said I owed something from 2008 & the company decided to take legal action and there would be felony charges against me and if I didnt pay I could go to court & risj jsil time I had until 2pm California time because they were in Florida. I got spooked and gave my info and authorized half of the supposed almost 1000$ I owed. They called back a few days later because I didnt sign the edocs sent via email. I did, now they are calling for the rest of the money which they damn sure won't get. I spoke to my mother who works for a company that says a Law office will NEVER ca you and say you a case against you, felony charges pending or anything like that. I wish I had known before giving almost.500 but they wont get another dime and I filed a claim with my bank. I never recieved anything in the mail anx looking back over the edocs there was NOTHING about a law office. I wouldnt have failed for this but unlike the other crazy calls this wasn't an Indian accented person this was an american woman Teri something!!

Unfortunatley these people called me telling me I owed them money for something in 2008! Can anyone tell me if this is legit. Like an idiot I gave them my credit card information!!!! please email me your response lilchikitama@yahoo.com

These people keep calling me saying that i owe a debt that If i dont Pay there going to issue a warrant for my arrest . The first time I freaked out but ya don't freak out they can't issue you a warrant . First a 813 -444-4517 called now it's a 813-444-4516 there both the same line there not getting my money I worked hard for . God bless ya

One of the notes is especially helpful, written by someone who says he's a lawyer and knows they don't have the legal authority to be making these calls threatening to get arrest warrants issued.
