RECIEVED A CALL FORM THIS NUMBER, DEMANDING MONEY AND THEY HAD MY INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep getting this harrassing phone call from these individuals saying i had gotten a payday loan through cash advance and i never recieved this, they say they are from a company called financial crime bureau out of florida. what a scam you call them back and they never answer the to the company name..

Report him to www.IC3.gov . They are investigating these people. They try to intimidate and harass people into giving them money they supposedly owe to another creditor. Either the loan was never taken out in the first place, or they pocket the money and the actual creditor never gets it. They also call businesses, harass supervisors, and try to get their victims fired from their jobs.
Call your service provider and see if they have call-blocking, or if you have a smartphone look on your screen for an app market icon. Click on it and search for a call-blocking app. If one is not there, go to www.mr.number.com if you live in the US.

i keep getting a call from this number it is a guy with a very heavy accent saying that i owe money and that if i dont pay he will take futher action and also had the last 4 digits of my ss# i didnt call him back.

moron scammers, they get your info off the internet from any type of payday loan app. Even if you never took one out. Don't worry, I usually call back with names like, George lucas called i'm returning his number, or Steven speilberg called, etc. they always say, yes speaking, so i laugh my a** off, and just tell them it's a scam and that they should work for there money and not steal from people.

I recieved a phone call from this phone number from a John Davis stating I was getting sued for not paying my payday loan I told him that was not true so he said that he would contact his Attorney to sue me for not paying them settle amount of $223.00 I told him I didn't know what he was talking about he said that he report me to my job and let them about the sue they where making against me at the beginning I did believe it but then I did research and found out it was all a scam that they are trying to rob peoples money.Yet when I asked the man for his company's name he just replied by telling the Dept. of Financial.This man sounded Indian.

I have received this call several times.. it stopped for a few weeks, but I just got one today.. I never really listened to the messages but today I did, it said I was comitting fraud and I need to call them.He had a accent, cold hardly understand him. ( I believe Indian) he had the last 4 numbers of my Soucial Security number, that is why I started to reserach it... I have read the other comments... some people said something about a payday loan....I have put 2 and 2 together.. about a month ago I tried to get a payday loan on the internet. I saw this ad ( that is backed by the news) about how to get cash, well I filled out a a few forms and got sent all over the web to finish teh application...etc.... so now I see how they got my indo. Thank god I gave my cell phone number instead of my house number.

Just got this scam phone call today. "John Davidson" called my cell phone and left a message, then called my work phone three times in a row after I told him I was reporting him and hung up on him. Finally, my coworker answered, and he stopped calling after that. I've just reported the call to the FTC.

I had a voicemail left on my phone from a David "someone" that I needed to call immediately, that some fraudulent activity had been done on my social ending in XXXX and that it was in my best interest to call back immediately. It was clearly a scam and the male had a very distinct accent, hard to understand everything. Be careful!!!

I got a call from them today.  The man with the foreign dialect asks for me.  I said, yes that's me, then I hung up on him.  He called back twice more with the same result.  The 4th time I told him I was calling my attorney.  He hasn't called back since.

I have reported 3 different numbers for these suckers.  I'll keep reporting them till they stop.

I have been getting phone calls from this number they called me a month ago and I hung up on them. When I asked what law firm they were with they told me they could not give that information but told me I have a payday loan out in my name and if I didn't pay them they would send cops to my place of employeement. I asked him where did I work he told me a previous job that I had six months ago. I told him go ahead and do it and hung up. Today they called with the same phony lines so I lied and I told him my husband was a cop and as far he knew I wasn't being sued by any company but this call was being traced and recorded. He hung hahaha....Don't fall for these scam artists tricks when they call and I have nothing better to do I toy with them...Hey the longer they stay on the phone with me the less time they have to harass the next person. But I can't wait to see If I get any more calls tomorrow

I have recieved several calls from this sam number, with all different names and their employer:

Michael Jordon with the State Department
John Morrison with American Financial
Jack Miller with the Peninsula Crime Bureau

They all say that I have a payday loan that is outstanding when I don't have one. I had my "lawyer" give them a call and they hung up on him.

When I asked what company that they represent they wouldn't tell me and requested that I give them my social and other identifying information, I told the caller that I didn't know who they were and asked why I would even give that information to them. He told me that he would call the company and then call me back, I still have yet to hear back from theam.

I have been threatened and promised that I would be arrested and fired from my place of employment which both ended up being very empty threats.

Received call from this number today from a man calling himself John Davidson, he left a message for me saying he is calling from a legal office and my date (this is what he said not my birthday and social security number was used as fraud. He said I need to call back or they will send the black and white to my job. I called back and asked for John Davidson, the man that answered the phone never gave the company name he just said hello. I told him I had received a call from someone saying their name is John Davidson. He asked what number did they call but I would not give my number, I just made up a number, he stated are you sure that is the number that was called I said yes. He then said well the call was about a payday loan that I had got, I aksed him what company was I suppose to have gotten a payday loan from, he said cash advance. I told him I have never gotten a payday loan with this company and I was going to turn this number in to the Attorney General Office he hung up. He never asked me my name he just said I had gotten a payday loan.

We keep getting the same harassment calls saying the same thing, they never want to send any proof or disclose their company name

I keep getting harassing phone calls from this number and area code wanting me to take care of a friend who has committed a crime -this person is sitting next to me on dialysis.  Calls are non-stop and the caller is obviously reading from a script; he doesn't speak English very well.
